This place is a gem! Seriously, I had a private room and bathroom and it was exactly what I needed. There was a bathtub which was great for soaking after the freezing rain! Changdeokgung Palace is a block away and Gyeongbokgung Palace is an easy walk as is Bukchon Hanok Village. Close to transportation and wonderful dining options in Insadong. I am so glad that I stayed here! I was traveling alone and lost my wallet and the owners were so kind and helpful! There is a 7eleven steps away that takes ApplePay in case you need it, like I did!! The guesthouse allowed me to store luggage after checkout for no cost. It really is an excellent find!

We booked a room for 2. It was really spacious. I especially loved it bec of its proximity to a convenience store, Anguk subway station, Changdeokgung palace and museums. The place was clean, and quiet.

한가지 빼고 모든게 좋았던 ^^
긴가 민가하며 예약을 했는데^^ 방만 더 가능했으면 그 후에 예약했던 호텔을 취소하고 이 비원게스트 하우스에 계속 있을 수 있어도 좋겠다 생각했네요.. 위치며 안전함 또 가격대비 가성비 정말 최고 였어요. 창덕궁 바로 앞쪽에 위치한 게스트 하우스.. 24시간 편의점도 걸어서 1분거리에 있고 5분 정도 걸으면 익선동 또 한정거장 걸어서 인사동, 바로 길건너편으론 북촌, 최고의 위치에 있네요. 근데 한가지 아쉬웠던 건 밤에 복도에 불이 안 켜져 있어서 오가는데 좀 무서웠던~~ 계단을 올라갈땐 센서등이 있어서 계단쪽으론 자동적으로 불이 켜지는데 그 외에 복도는 불이 전혀 안 켜져서 새벽이나 밤에 오가는데는 사람이 전혀 안보이는데 좀 무서웠어요. 1층에 낮에는 오히려 불이 켜져있던데 낮보단 밤에 불이 켜져 있는데 투숙객들이 오가는데 안전감을 느끼지 않을까 싶습니다. 다음에 한국 방문한다면 꼭 다시 이용하고 싶은 숙소로 추천합니다!

Does the cat count as staff? Was very happy to see the kitty there. The hostel was terrific, and a great value too! The hostess were very pleasant and friendly; although to be fair, I need to learn more Korean. The location to 7-11, local eateries (non-chain) and tourist/historical sites were a very nice bonus. Location from a bus stop, and train were easy walking distance. Although I traveled during a hot (to me) period -- it's summer after all, the air conditioner helped out a lot, which cooled the room pretty quick. Plenty of room in the dresser for unloading my flight bag. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay of which I would like to see again, perhaps in the winter to see how it is.

Beewon is a good place to stay
Beewon is a well priced accomodation located in a pretty neat area of downtown Seoul. The room was tidy and came with usual things you would expect (shampoo, toothbrush, tooth paste etc...). As I stayed during winter the floor heating was amazing. The only thing was the towel supplied was the size of a hand towel which wasn't ideal, but I survived! I would recommend this place.

Beewon around 5 min walk to subway but be careful if you are walking at night. Many mini drink store open at night. Btw, thank you alex! Allowed us early check in. The room is big and well maintained. Maybe breakfast could be vary, instead of only toast/bread/jam. Take care!

Pleasant stay in a tree-lined, quiet neighborhood
Beewon Guest House was our comfortable home for 5 days. Easy to find and walkable from 2 train stations. Centrally-located, yet feels like it has given us tranquility after days of hectic activities. The cat is sensationally the cutesy star, visitors want to pat it when they see it. Hotel staff are nice and respectful. We had to leave a day early to stay with a friend, and staff were nice enough to open the breakfast area earlier. The room is bigger than expected, and provided us with a big bed for restful sleep. The iron just outside our room was convenient, and a ref inside our room made our drinks cold. We definitely will recommend this for travelers who are not too picky, but can use a welcoming place.

The B-1 was just fine. Lots of exciting things to see all around it. It's a place to lay your head. The staff was pleasant and they had a little friendly cat. The Wi-Fi was acceptable. All in all it wasn't adequate experience at a very good price

Good location
Strategic location as it is near palaces and the hanbok rental stores. Those who are into cultural thingy would appreciate the location as it is very near to Insadong. The hostel is comfortable and clean, and smell nice too.

major renovation needed
We needed a place to stay because we were doing an embassy run for our newborn's passport. It wasn't hard to find from the train station. The area is good for dining and shopping. There's a huge market for Korean traditional instruments that fasinated me. The hotel itself is super old and needs to be gutted and built up again. We were initially suppose to have a room with a bed but the owner decided to move us down a floor to the futon room. Although sleeping on the floor with the kids was easier, I felt like the condition of the room was super dirty so we didn't stay in the room except to sleep at night. The wallpaper is ripped up and need of repair. There was mold in the bathroom and on the bottom of the wall in the sleep area. Ughhh. We were provided bedding...but I refused to use the pillow because the pillow sheet was stained. I will NEVEr stay here again. The owner was nice but she really needs to use her funds to fix up the place.

sorry, for making feel you uncomfortable. Now we are on fixing all of our hotels. Fixing the room entirely , with a new bed, new paint and so on. And did we know when did you check in here? we want to know about that time. Again, feel so sorry for uncomforting you.

가격대비 괜찮아요
이 가격에 개인 화장실까지 딸려있는점은 만족했으나 화장실이 너무 추워서 도저히 샤워를 할 수 없었던 점은 힘들었네요. 주인분이 친절하게 전화 주시고 체크인 안내해 주신 점은 좋았어요.

스텝분들의 친절함이 인상적이었습니다. 욕조가 있어서 욕실을 편하게 사용할 수 있었습니다. 온돌방 객실이 사라진 아쉬움은 있지만 가성비 최고의 숙소였습니다...옥상의 휴식 공간도 있었습니다... 추천하고 싶은 숙소입니다..

看板猫のいる気軽なドミトリー
必要最小限にして十分です。 そもそもドミトリーのシングルルーム利用なので 過大に多くの事は期待出来ません。 ただそれでも1人旅であるなら十分だと思います。 ちなみにシングルルームだと玄関に近いために人が通ったりする音が気になるかもしれませんので 耳栓は用意しておいた方がいいと思います。 ただし耳栓はドミトリー側で用意してたりするらしいので(一度貰ったことがある) フロントであるかどうか聞いても悪くないと思います。 あと看板猫のいる宿で猫好きな人なら 忘れられない宿になります。 フロントの人も人柄が良く良いホテルだと思います。 もう何度も利用しています。

本当にオススメです。
今までいろいろなゲストハウスに泊まってきましたが、こちらが今までで1番快適でした。 まずフロントの方がとても親切でした。 部屋が3階でエレベーターはないので荷物を上まで持っていくには大変でしたが、フロントの方が手伝ってくれました。 部屋は2人でスーツケースを広げられるくらいで、清潔でした。 シャワーとトイレも清潔だったので、抵抗なく使用できました。 建物のすぐそばにコンビニもあり、駅から歩いても10分かからず、駅周辺にも飲み屋がたくさんあるので、アクセスはとてもいいと思います。 ぜひまた泊まりたいと思いました。

部屋の割にシャワー室が広く、テレビの画面も大きくて良かったです。 ボディシャンプー・リンスインシャンプーと小さい石けんが置いてありました。 繁華街からも少し離れているので、夜も静かでした。 セール価格だからか、シングルベットだからか、窓のない部屋で、それだけが残念でした。

安くて立地が良くて快適さを求めるかたに
お部屋は狭いながらもきちんと掃除されており清潔でした。部屋の中には体を洗う簡易ボディタオルと１、２回分の歯みがき粉、シャンプー、ボディーソープ、小さな石鹸、コップ、トイレットペーパー、ドライヤー、薄型テレビ、エアコン、除湿機、バスマット、タオル、ハンガー数本、洗濯バサミ２個程、スリッパがありました。トイレットペーパーが無くなったら受付で新しいものをくれますし、タオルも新しいものを貸してもらえました。シャワーは少し時間がかかりますが、お湯もちゃんと出ますし、充分な量の水圧でした。私は自分で歯ブラシセット、ボディータオル、スリッパ、小さな洗濯ハンガー、ティッシュ、濡れティッシュを用意していったので、備え付けのものとプラスのものでとても快適に過ごすことができました。また是非泊まりたいです。
