I booked a king bed and had receipt from Expedia to prove it. Got a queen and two text messages saying i was wrong. I stayed 2 nights and had two people and i get 2 towels for a total for 3 days. Covid is over needed to get back to housekeeping daily.

Bathroom faucet had a continues leak that you could turn off and you could hear it even with the door shut. Wallpaper above shower was pealing and there was mold everywhere. Not what i expected when paying that much for a room.

We stayed 3 nights. The first morning I made the bed. When we requested clean towels the maid did come and fix the bed. On the second morning our room wasn’t serviced at all. For the price I would have expect mch better service.

Meadow (a waitress at Carmen 2.0) was especially friendly and told us all about Scranton and areas we should visit during our trip. Hopefully back in the future!

They didn’t hold my reservation and basically told me to find somewhere else to stay. No apology, no phone call, nothing. You cannot do that to people that travel from out of town and have reservations weeks in advance.

Beautiful building and lobby. Attentive front desk staff. Decent bar/restaurant (Trax) and main dinning area is good for breakfast. Location in the downtown area. Room was as advertised in physical terms and all furnishings were modern, comfortable, and in good shape. Didn't like the fact that we didn't have maid service for a 2-night stay, considering the price and that there was no indication of this when making the reservation. One set of towels and other bathroom amenities each for 2 nights seemed inadequate considering that we weren't getting maid service. Had a front facing room on the 2nd floor and could not close curtains to keep out the light from parking lot lamps.

All of the Staff were great, front desk, housekeeping& restaurant. Breakfast was average. Lobby is beautiful! Hotel rooms are clean. Jacuzzi in our room was really clean. The shower needs safety valve because as you are using it the water changes from ice cold to scalding hot if someone else in the building is using water. There is not a single towel rack or hook for toiletries except back of the bathroom door. There was nothing within reach of shower to put your towel on. TV is small for the size of the room.

This is a beautiful historic building, with one of the most beautiful lobbies I’ve ever seen. That said, the furniture and design of the trax restaurant as well as the halls and guest rooms, though clean, are dated. The main lobby has, among other treasures, an original Tiffany glass barreled ceiling. Unfortunately, it isn’t backlit. If it were, it would bring out the full glory of the room. I don’t know if it is possible, instead of a parking lot, I would love to see the front of the building landscaped. Then it might be a destination hotel. Other than that, the hotel is clean and the employees helpful.

Lovely historic building with modern updated comfy rooms, it’s the best of both worlds. The food at Trax is very good and Maria’s a great, attentive bartender. Easy to get to from the Highway and convenient to all points of interest. Five stars!

Bar and club across the street had a loud band that kept me up until 3am and staff said they could not do anything about it. Loud in hotel at night. Restaurant in hotel had poor meal service. Took over an hour to get a sandwich.
