Sasayama's ok/good - not great though
Not too many options in Sasayama and this one is probably the only affordable one (although not worth 17,000yen imo). We got the RI room which was fairly spacious. No TV, slow wifi but conveniently located near Sasayama's main street.

離れのりに宿泊しました。 駐車場も空いており、停めることができました。 夜に到着すると辺りは真っ暗でしたが、静かな街に好感を持ちました。 お部屋は、扉を開けるとうわあっと声が出るほどの素敵さ。 清潔感もあり、ベットもふかふかでよく眠ることができました。 ただ上の階にも人が泊まっており、上の階の人の動きの音が下に筒抜けでした。（洗面所への扉を開ける音、歩く音など…上の階の人がどこにいるのか分かるほどでした。） 元々が宿泊施設として作られていないので仕方がないと言えば仕方ないのですが…。 マイナス１なのは、この点くらいで本当に街も施設の雰囲気も素晴らしかったです。 また利用したいです。

悪くは無いが、設備その他がやや粗末な感じがした。 コストパフォーマンスはまあまあだと思うが、安いとも思わない。 掃除にずさんなところがあった。目立つところを掃除していて、埃が積もっているところもあった。 アメニティは必要最低限のものはあった。

城下町と商売のまちの歴史的雰囲気が好ましかったです。街の中心部にもアクセスが良く、夕食も歩いて美味しく摂ることができました。 ゲストハウスの施設は、レトロ感と静けさが満載で、寝具は清潔でゆっくりと休むことができました。 施錠のしくみに記載と異なる点があり、多少当惑しました。スタッフの方に直接お伝えしました。 ありがとうございました。
