My partner and I stayed here for a week in February 2024. It's a lovely apart-hotel in a wonderful location. The area right around the hotel is a bit touristy, but quite comfortable and bustling. It's steps from a metro stop, a very short walk to a full grocery store, near plentiful restaurants and bars (La Mesita was excellent). The room was very nice: good kitchenette with everything you need, nice sized refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, kettle, etc. Comfortable and surprisingly quiet room. Check in and out were easy and they let us keep our bags there all of our last day for a midnight flight out. The hotel helped set up a car for arrival from the airport. We took the metro to the Pajaritos stop and then a bus (Turbus) back to the airport--both options work wonderfully. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this apartment in the heart of a fun dining district and cultural hub. It was clean and well designed. The heat pump was kept it cool in the very hot weather. Office staff were very, very helpful and nice. Street music and vendors below the the balcony were fun but it was quiet at night. Bed was comfy. There’s neighborhood shopping for paper towels and basics but we ended up eating out mostly at the great nearby restaurants.

Great Stay at Hotel Lastarria
Very happy with our stay at Hotel Lastarria. The Hotel/Apartment itself was immaculate and the location was great for dining and museums. Easy Uber everywhere from here. I have to mention the front desk staff. They were friendly and professional and helped with anything we inquired about, responding immediately. One heads up-rooms are fully set up with toaster, coffee maker & microwave but you must bring your own coffee, filters, paper towels etc. Not a problem just good to know. Great stay, Thank You!

The prop has a 24 hr desk and can best be reached by email because their front desk is not on what's app . Communication did get thru but Expedia was the one that made the mistake posting in reserv details that it was open 10a-9p with no late check in. Expedia and the hotel posts that there is a 24 hr desk and the hotel desk is open 24 hours and very helpful. The hotel arranged transport is reliable at 27000 clp but will cost you 35 percent more than Uber or taxi set rate 18000 clp . But be warned that uber is difficult as they do not have place to stop except in garage . The front desk staff and cleaning staff excellent/ adorable modern studio with microwave but no tea or coffee or sugar supplies. Convenient charming outdoor and dining and gelato Montana . Can walk to museums but Nacional museums closed due to strikes. Lots of concert venues within walking distance as well as the mercato 1 km. Can take subway easily to other places for under $1usd 610-730-810 clp

This was a wonderful property as a base for our five days in Santiago. The view from our large fourth floor balcony was superb giving us an incredible view of San Cristobal and the Andes beyond that. The staff were excellent with good English. There were some fantastic restaurants nearby as well as scattered convenience stores and close grocery stores for when we cooked in the apartment. Loved our stay and have no hesitation recommending this property.

VERY mixed reviews on staff! Housekeeping - impeccable, warm and very friendly. Front desk staff - I can’t even put into words the level of miscommunication and lack of professionalism that I experienced during my stay. I should have followed my instincts when communicating with them prior to my stay and cancelled the reservation but the manager assured me that things would be fine. They weren’t! While the property is conveniently located and well kept and clean, the lack of customer kindness from the front desk staff can sour your stay here.

Great apartment. There are lots of local restaurants and shopping on the same street. Many sites are walking distance. The one down side is there is no elevator.

The place was nice and near the historic center. At night the sorroundings turns into a bohemian neighborhood with many people enjoying food, art and music. Marcela was great in the hotel!

The room really didn’t sleep 4 as advertised. The trundle bed pulled out and didn’t fit the room. The beds were all twins. My husband slept on the sofa for three nights. They knew we were a family of 4 and the rooms were all twin beds. The airport pick ups and drop offs they arranged for us were both late. The only great part was we loved the neighborhood but will not recommend this hotel.

Excellent location for dining, metro and apartment/hotel rooms make extended stay very comfortable with kitchenette/living room. No elevator so thank you to the manager for upgrading our rooms from third floor to the second floor for these two seniors. All the staff was very accommodating to us and thank you for the best stay in Chile.

Awesome Hotel
The hotel is located in a very hip neighborhood where there are plenty of restaurants, and convenient to all the historical sights. Also, Gonzales and his staff are very responsive to my various inquiries and requests; I found the service to be excellent. As for the unit itself, it was comfortable and clean. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Santiago.

The location is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. Airport pickup was very helpful. The apartment is in a great location. Perfect for a family as it has a two bed apartment. We stayed in Barrio Brasil the second time in Santiago, and Lastarria is the preferred neighbourhood. More choice of restaurants etc. Our only complaint was that we were left waiting for an hour at the airport for our pick up, which after a long flight was frustrating. However redeemed when they were timely for pick up at 2.30 am for our morning flight.
