The only good thing was a good location to the golf course. Very odd hotel with thin walls, could hear people talking, showering, TVs/music all night even with earplugs

Nice property but could be better overall
Categorized as a 3 star, I was surprised that there was no AC in rooms, a warm week of 28 c in area, made the room very uncomfortable even with the fan offered from front desk. a mini fridge or mini bar would have helped in a standard room also, an ice machine for guest use would have helped also. we were happy with its location for golf, Heidelburg, Neckar Valley, even Stuttgart and Frankfurt day trips, one of main reasons we chose the hotel. The size of room and the staff were helpful at bar, breakfast and front desk, but couldn’t do much to help with missing hotel amenities. The hotel should invest in some upgrades such as room AC and new room Key cards to keep up guest satisfaction for the future years to come, still feels like a late 1990s hotel.

If you enjoy golf, this hotel is right next door, but I would say it's mostly a business hotel located in a technological park on the outskirts of St. Leon-Rot. I spent a week here while working with Intel, which happens to also be practically next door. So is SAP. Anyway, it's about a 15 minute walk to the train that will zip you up to Heidelberg in no time. In fact, I flew into Frankfurt, took a train to Heidelberg, then took another train to St. Leon-Rot. I just walked from the train platform to the hotel. The hotel serves a pricey breakfast, but there's a bakery at the end of the Opelstrasse St. and a really good Thai restaurant right next to the hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk to a grocery store and 15-20 minute walk past the golf course into the actual city center. The hotel staff were all very friendly and nice, the room was comfy and clean, the price was reasonable and I had no complaints. St. Leon-Rot isn't a tourist destination, but if you're looking for a decent place near the tech companies like Intel and SAP, you can't beat this.

Noisy neighbor or really bad isolation
Hi Staff was welcoming at arrival but not that nice at departure. Not mean but not smily or maybe busy.. anyway.. My room was clean but unfortunately noisy due to my neighbor. She was not making it in purpose but where the street noise isolation is perfect, the walls are bad and I did hear my neuf snoring or making a phone call..

Okay stay near company park
It was a nice hotel but the food in the bar was not impressive. The beer was good though. I would rate it higher if it had a filled mini-bar in the room since there are no stores around.

Hotel liegt im Mischgebiet, daher keine Restaurants oder Gaststätten. Nur zwei Imbiss-Gelegenheiten, die früh schließen. Ansonsten im Hotel alles top.

Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich, Hotel hat einen sehr sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Jedoch ist es schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Negativer Punkt war auf jeden Fall die sehr harte Matratze.
