We agree, we have been saving for a full renovation but we’ve suffered a great deal this year and look to improve the experience. As for the claims for mold, we have brought in a specialist and they have identified that it is not black mold and it is water damage. We have plans to remove the damaged wood and replace it at the start of the year. We appreciate the feedback and apologies for your bad experience.

Hello Jason, thank you for your review. We were able to hire Professional cleaners and they did a deep clean on all the walls and inspected our walls with great detail. We apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. We also just updated all our rugs, we noticed they had some bad wear and tear. We are happy to offer a discount on your next stay with us. Hello Stephanie, thank you for your stay and review. There are some fixe we have made immediately, thank you for that. Other items that I wish you would have asked about. 1. our floors, upon investigating it appeared you are complaining about the chips of scratches and minimal paint and wear and tear over years on the floor. We didn't see anything out of the norm and you were the first to mention this to us. We did another deep clean after your visit and apologize for your unfortunate experience. 2. We put in a new faucet now. It was old and needs to be in a specific position to stop it from leaking. 3. The South San Francisco bay area is cold 95% of the year, we rarely get warm heat waves and if you had asked we would have directed you to where our fans are located. We had no indication from you that you were uncomfortably warm. 4. Sorry for the cup. it must have be missed in the cleaning investigation. We had to only 3 hours to clean the home on the check in date due to other guests being quite messy. We apologize for that. In all it seems like you had a good experience, and were challenged by the old the home, it is tough if you are expecting a nicer experience but this is our vacation home and we use it sparingly. We hope you have a great summer.

Hello, thank you for your review. Our home is advertised as a humble home, it is simple thanks for acknowledging that. It is our first year with VRBO, we are learning and welcome your feedback. We are slowly enhancing the inside but that costs money and the more great guests we have the better it will be in the future. We are sorry for smell, it is an old home - we'd like reassure visitors that it is not mold. We do not have a washer and dryer, it is a vacation home and there are some located down the street. I will put in a hair dryer for guests, great idea! Would have loved if you communicated this to us and we would have accommodated your requests. Have a great rest of your summer.

Hello Rick, extending our sincerest apologies. looks like there was a big miscommunication. Your original stay was changed for $2805 and this was set for June 28th - July 10, after you notified us that you needed to leave earlier, we then proceeded to refund you the remaining of the trip with a refund. We refunded you $1720.40 for the adjusted stay form June 28 - July 1. The service fee is through VRBO and i've called them to waive it but they did not allow us to. We are sorry for the inconvenience. As far as the price change, yes our home price changed prior to your booking in comparison to the pervious time you booked with us because people were trashing our home and we had to increase the price to keep up with all the cleaning fees we were taking on. Our home is still below market rate compared to other homes with similar space. We are more than happy to discount your next stay and we are very sorry you feel this way. It is not an easy task to issue a refund and the App is also difficult to navigate. As for the heater, we address the issue immediately when it happened to your past stay with us and the tech came out to fix it but it was too late and he couldn't get the part until the next day to make it work. As i mentioned we are happy to discount your next stay with us.
