Excellent Location: Excellent for the Price
Family of four for five nights: $602 USD. Parking is free. Breakfast is extra. No microwaves in rooms or common areas. It was perfectly located 45-60mins drive from downtown Paris. Clean: room passed the "white sock test" (minimal dirt on new white socks after 30+ mins of walking in the room). Hotel is located on a cul-de-sac type of street with similar priced properties, two fast food restaurants and 3-5 mid-range eateries. Driving Times (faster/slower depending on traffic): Omaha Beach: 3.25hrs Downtown Paris: 45-75 mins CDG Airport: 15mins Orly Airport: 45mins Flanders Field (Belgium): 2.25hrs Highly Recommend

Great location for airport
Great place to stay if you want to be close to the CDG airport or to Parc Asterix. There's not much within walking distance. Hotel was very clean and the staff competent and helpful. It appears to be a new hotel, though, and doesn't have much charm.

Perfect whilst visiting Parc Asterix
We booked this room as a family with two teenagers for an overnight stay whilst visiting Parc Asterix (5 minutes drive away). The receptionist was friendly, the hotel modern and the room plenty big enough for 4 with comfortable beds. Lots of choice for continental breakfast (but no fruit) and the only small niggle was the tables not having been wiped clean after previous guests. Plenty of choice for evening meals in restaurants within walking distance - TIP if you want to visit the Buffalo Grill you'll need to book on a Saturday night as there was a queue to get in. Overall, great value for money.

Reason for booking was to be close to airport, far
The rason for booking was that it would be close to airport, it was too far, had to spend too much in taxi to get to it. Bus information from airport was not available. Very umpleseant

Bad beds bad WiFi
When you first come in every thing looks perfect. But when you stay there and you have no other choice you discover that the mattresses are very old and uncomfortable that you can’t sleep so you try to use your phone to help you go to sleep and you discover the bad WiFi, the funny thing that you go to the reception to tell them about your problem and they reply back “ strang....... it’s good for me”

Great stop for a morning flight from Paris (CDG)
The Akena in St. Witz, just 12 minutes from Charles de Gaulle was a great stop. Our flight was at 11 am the next morning and we needed an overnight close to the airport. The Akena is convenient (minutes off the A-1), very clean (small but well-appointed room) and offered a very reasonable breakfast for 7 Euros (fresh-baked croissant and pain chocolate, yogurt, ham, cheese, toast, fruit). The hotel is located in a hotel zone and there are several restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Great stop for a flight that arrives in the evening or a morning departure.

Economical place to stay, staff were very helpful
We had an early flight out of CDG and searched for nearby hotels. This was economical and worth the price. The reception staff was excellent and recommended a place to eat. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Overall very good.

Manager couldn't be more helpful
Hotel is in the process of being renovated, although you couldn't tell as there were no signs of workmen or mess. Junior staff could be a little better trained, but manager was outstanding, helpful and always friendly.

Spend extra stay closer to the airport
I do not like France. The airport is so busy. It took an hour to get thru customs. The cab driver got lost and we paid 30 euros to the hotel. The staff were really good room clean comfy bed. We ordered a cab from taxis2go.com. They don't tell u they charge to pick you up and then to drive you to where your going so you pay double. CDg airport is so busy and organized never again.

Disastrous! Poor hospitality, few facilities
The hotel was given as being at 10 min. from the airport. However, it failed to state that this was via the A1 motorway! It was certainly cheap, but by the time you'd paid the return taxi journey, it would have been cheaper to stay onsite at Roissy (which is where I thought it was). The hospitality was minimal and far from welcoming. The room was on the top floor (2nd) with no lift and no-one to help with heavy luggage. It was stone cold, feeling warmer in the corridor than in the room. I went down to reception, but 5 min. after my arrival, it was already closed (no doubt I was the last one in judging by the few cars parked). Hence, I called the no. on the bill and the night watchman shortly arrived. He stated that the heating was not on (it was minus 2 outside!) and went off to find a heater. In the room, there was no blanket and the bare necessities. The TV was rather old and the remote control hardly worked with few channels available. Downstairs, the vending machines hadn't been filled for some time and there was no bottled water. I couldn't even get a coffee since I had no change and the reception was already closed. Fortunately, the MacDo was across the road and I could get a coffee in there. The next morning, when I enquired about shuttles or buses, the night watchman, still on shift, was unable to give good advice... At breakfast, the TV was blaring funky music instead of showing the news... A hotel definitely NOT to be reused, nor recommended.

Fine for one night when leaving early for the airport. Nice restaurant options close by. I wish there was a sign on the side of the freeway indicating the exit for the "zone hotelliere" because I missed the exit and had to backtrack which cost me more money in tolls.

Adequate stop for the night
Just this hotel for sleeping only on my drive to Paris as it's only 40' away. Very friendly manager welcomed me. Rooms are as expected, small, simple but was clean and comfortable enough for the night. Would use again as a quick stopover as it's just of the highway.

Très déçue Cela ne vaut pas le prix avec les pbs que l’on a rencontré dans cet hôtel. Pas d’eau chaude, petit déjeuner très modeste (pas de viennoiseries ni de brioches, pas de petites cuillères.. fait tout réclamer !! Le directeur n’était pas là pour s’excuser.

A mon arrivée, la TV ne fonctionnait pas. J'ai été changé de chambre. Dans cette nouvelle chambre les WC ne fonctionnaient pas. Cela a été remonté à l'accueil le lendemain matin. Le soir à mon retour dans la chambre, rien n'avait été fait : les wc ne fonctionnaient toujours pas. De plus l'hôtel est très mal insonorisé.

A rénover urgemment!
La chambre était vétuste … le lit était creusé au milieu à cause de l’usure et le matelas pas très confortable. Les toilettes était pas très propres et la douche très très abîmée avec les joints noirs et les armatures rouillés. Un coup de neuf s’impose. Le service cependant était excellent!! Le petit déjeuner est un peu cher pour ce qu’il y a… peu de choix.

La personne à l’accueil était antipathique, notre chambre semblait sale avec des tâches sur la moquette, une literie inconfortable, un seul drap de bain pour 2 personnes…. Et le comble, l’hôtelier a généré 2 cartes de la chambre ce qui nous a effrayé lorsque la deuxième personne s’est introduit dans notre chambre à minuit…hôtel à éviter…
