What an incredible gem. Perfect location and the setting is just beautiful. Staff helped plan a wonderful itinerary from Beynac to Lyon. Very spacious room. So relaxing. If you saw the movie Chocolat, this is about 7 minutes from the village centre.

The rooms we got wasn't in the main Chateau, maybe because family of 5 we got the cabin looking room with the loft, the rooms are very new, clean and spacious. The front desk staff is helpful and nice!

Spent nearly a week at this property and enjoyed every minute. Convenient to many interesting sights and activities. Room was wonderful (we stayed in the main house) and the service was great. If I ever get back to this part of France I would stay here again.

When we checked in, we were greeted with big smiles from Magali, the lady at the front desk. She was very considerate and helpful. The chateau room that we stayed in was lovely and the view was spectacular. The property was very well maintained. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was just a short drive away from many of the most beautiful villages in the area. The only disappointment was the restaurant. While the food - appetizers, main courses and desserts, were all beautifully presented, the tastes were very plain and boring.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting
We stayed in the main chateau building in a 'Luxury Double Room' which was a beautiful traditional large room and bathroom. We had the hotel breakfast as it seemed the most convenient and it was a very good selection of the usual cold and hot items. Fortunate with the weather that we could sit outside on the terrace overlooking the pool and valley in the mornings. The pool was heated and nice temperature, with plenty of sunbeds around. We used the adults only pool next to the main chateau building, but there is also the larger family pool. The Dordogne valley is a beautiful area to explore.

Ideal stay
Beautiful chateau with nice pool and terraces. Restaurant excellent and breakfast very good. You need to be pretty fit to climb 4 flights if stairs for rooms located at the top of the chateau, especially with luggage. All staff helpful, great location for visiting nearby tourist areas and would like to return.

This is a beautifully restored chateau with modern annexes. It is set in the beautiful Dordogne valley. The location is perfect for visiting the many attractions in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. The food in the restaurant was excellent too.

A fantastic mini break in the Dordogne. The hotel is stunning and staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Our family room had plenty of space and was clean and comfortable. An absolutely wonderful place to stay

First class get-a-way!
Did not know what to expect. But when we arrived we were stunned at the Chateau and the overall property. The onsite restaurant (5 stars in my book) was amazing and so was the service. The check in when we arrived was first class! The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. definitely coming back and staying longer

Gorgeous Chateau in amazing location
The staff have been very helpful and attentive. The place must have been recently renovated as everything is fresh and super clean. Can't fault this place, bathing in the pool at the end of the day is heaven. Highly recommend and especially good value.

Wonderful stay
Amazing Château with a wonderful restaurant on site. Loved our stay here so much, breakfast was good but maybe a tad over priced for what it was. Overall we loved our time here.

Amazing place to stay. Staff is great, kind and helpful. Room in the chateau was clean and with AC. Both pools are perfect in summer. Restaurant was full both nights so we could not taste it. A restaurant/bar for lunch would be perfect and breakfast was a bit limited for the price in my opinion. We highly recommend

A truely exceptional place to stay (pay extra and stay in the Chateau for the full experience). Staff are friendly and helpfull. I am sure the resturant will earn Michelin stars in due course. For us, there was nothing on the menu we wanted to eat. If someone were to open a resturant in the local village (a pleasant walk away) this would be the perfect stay.

We are quite surprised that you rated us 2 out of 5, and that you found nothing you wanted to eat on the menu. In our gourmet restaurant, for dinner, we propose a variety of starters, main courses and desserts in the « Menu à la carte » and you can also enjoy our « Discovery menu » with several choices. For lunch (except on Mondays), the chef prepares a « Bistro menu » that changes every day. It would be a pleasure to welcome you here again. . Have a nice day Best regards

Beautiful chateau. Stayed in the family room in the Chateau. Spacious and clean. Everything appeared brand new. Great showers, comfy bed with amazing views in all directions. Nice pool areas - clean, with good sun loungers, towels and umbrellas. Also provided waiter service from the bar. Lovely breakfast area either inside or on the terrace. Restaurant has good seating areas too with excellent service. Would highly recommend - should be 5 star!

Great setting and location, helpful staff, brilliant pool. Room was simply furnished, but clean and comfortable. Two separate bedrooms were appreciated for family, although some soft seating would be good in main room. Good restaurant, but missing a bar in the main house.

Wonderful location, beautiful castle. The kids loved the swimming pool. The room setup for families is fantastic, with a twin bedroom adjoining the master bedroom.
