It was nice your son was able to come and visit you.Your recent 3 * review is one of the lowest rankings we have ever had, and I feel extremely badly that we didn’t meet your expectations. When we reviewed your reservation, I see you booked a “Classic” king bed from the two types of king bed rooms we were offering on Expedia when you reserved. This is our smallest and most economical king bed room type with a kitchenette and an air pool or whirlpool tub. It is always difficult for us to guess what a potential guest wishes to have that was not listed in the online offering (such as a couch) In addition to the type of king bed room on Expedia when you booked the other, called “Executive Suite” was a little more expensive and had a sofa and a full kitchen. Had you asked us for a larger room with a sofa upon check in, if available, the larger room would not have cost you very much extra. (I think the difference was 14.) I have looked at the 10 photos on Expedia in the “Classic” selection and this shows exactly what we were offering. As luck would have it, you were actually upgraded to a larger room. If you look to Expedia for photos of the “executive suite”, I think this is what you were looking for, but didn’t book (or pay for).I have sent you a private email which I hope you have received.Again, our sincere apologies for your disappointment. Dear Marjorie; Thank you for your kind review. I loved seeing your name! My middle name is Marjorie, it isn't very common! The problem from about mid-May until mid-June is that it is often warm enough that people want the air conditioners installed, but some nights get quite cold, and if we turn the furnaces off, we get multiple calls asking for them to be turned back on. This is an issue each and every year (for the last 30 years) at this time of year. We do the best we can insofar as we install the AC's in mid to late May, and leave the furnaces on (thermostats turned down) until the first week of June. In fact, they were just turned off for the season yesterday. I do apologise for our very "varied" weather here in New Brunswick - we often say "if you don't like the weather here, wait five minutes and it will change!" We make the very best decisions we can on heating and cooling during this 3 week period when either can be requested. I am so sorry someone too your prepaid parking spot. I am glad our on call staffer was able to look after you in an adjacent spot, but I know it is a nuisance when someone takes the wrong spot. It doesn't happen frequently, and I am so sorry it happened to you. I am glad the things which were within our control were to your liking, and I truly apologise about the others.
