I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.

Bonjour Lauren,Nous sommes très contents d'avoir vos nouvelles, au début cela étais difficile à cause de mon anglais très primaire et nous ne vous attendions pas le jour de votre arrivé, mais votre présence fut un grand plaisir par votre gentillesse et votre savoir. j'espère que votre voyage en écosse soit un souvenir inoubliable comme leur whisky pure malt. notre porte reste ouverte à tous vos amis et famille venant des USA.Jacqueline et moi nous vous embrassons bien fort

Great, relaxing stay close to Beauvais.
Our stay at Villa des Iris was our first night of a France/ Italy trip and it was a great first impression of French hospitality. The owners were gracious and attentive. It is a very small town, so if you don’t have a car, note there are few of no restaurant choices within walking distance. There are walking paths nearby and a nice little village to explore. Please note that we were charged for the Airport shuttle and the owners complained we only paid the amount for a single room even though we booked for two. This appears to be an issue with the owners and Expedia.

We voelden ons gelijk heel welkom bij dit prachtige chateau. Een goed onderhouden en verzorgde villa. En wat een lieve mensen! Het was gezellig en een fantastische ervaring. Niet te vergeten de grote tuin, met een heerlijk uitzicht.
