Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Lots of issues with accessing common TV channels. They dropped DirecTV to save money for Roko. So, if you don't have an account for TNT sports, you can't watch the NCAA Men's championship game. No refrigerator, but a microwave.

Thank you for the review Michael! However, we did not switch from DirecTV to Roku to save money. We switched from DirecTV to Spectrum, but offer it on a Roku device to give our guests more streaming options if they have accounts elsewhere! Unfortunately, due to an issue with Spectrum, some of our guests only had access to the live channels that Roku offers.
The check-in process was smooth with a warm and friendly receptionist. The room was very clean. We were here only one night, but enjoyed dining at a restaurant within walking distance.

Thanks for your review, Rita! During the winter, three restaurants are open for dinner within a few hundred yards. During the summer there are five! You'll have to come back a few times to try them all
Harbor House Inn was a splurge for us & definitely worth every penny!
Top of the line, charming furniture, linens, shower, chandelier, 3 Monet prints. Very helpful kind desk attendant.
Sacket’s Harbor such a beautiful historical village, best dinner ever at Good Fellos!
(Only thing missing was a refrigerator)

Hi Stephen! Thanks for your kind words about the hotel, our staff, and our beautiful little village! We really appreciate it. Just FYI for your next visit - we do have refrigerators available on request!
This was a terrible place to stay we had a family emergency and the hotel was locked down tight no staff whatsoever all outside doors were locked there was a number on the door when we finally contacted him he was at a party he sent us a code to get in it was the wrong code so we couldn't get in finally after an hour of try to make them understand it was an emergency the hotel finally got someone from next door to let us in this place was a total nightmare

Guys, you left your keys inside your room and after 10PM the front door is locked. I answered your first call, and gave you the door code. I don't know why you were unable to get the code to work, but our on-call person was next door and walked over to use the same code and let you in. I checked my phone - you were inside within 12 minutes of calling me.
This is a beautiful B and B, everything was first class . Bed was very large and comfortable.
Staff needs to know that a deaf person can communicate for him/her self and should address the deaf person not the other person with them.
When I pay $249 for a room, I do expect a closet, iron and ironing board, a restaurant. The furnishings here were very nice and the bathroom is extremely nice, however the room was VERY small with no closet. The “breakfast bar” was extremely skimpy. Check in area was not very nice and the staff person I had was not friendly at all.
Who ever heard of a three story hotel without an elevator? Also, no food service. No pool, no real amenities except a very nice location in historic Sackets Harbor. Unfortunately, we had a view over the parking lot.

Thank you Charles for your comments. You are absolutely correct, we do not have an elevator, yet. Therefore we are not renting rooms on the third floor. When we started our renovations, we had plans for an elevator and actually have installed the elevator shaft. Currently all rooms that we rent out are available without climbing stairs. That is possible because we have an entrance to our first floor from the parking lot and to the second floor from the street. (Built on a hill) And we do not have a pool for a couple of reasons. first it's just physically impossible because there is no room and secondly because there is a sand beach on the lake a few minutes drive from the Inn. We are just an Inn with very nice comfortable rooms in the village, just steps from the harbor and the lake and the many wonderful shops and restaurants that make Sackets a special place. We're glad that you enjoyed the village, however, and hope you get a chance to visit here again.
Very clean, within walking distances to all the shops, restruants, bars.
We didn't have refrigerator in our room & I forgot our steamer for clothes. We asked the owner Tom & he had them & put frig in our room on a cart & had steamer at front desk counter.
Had a very cute & clean area for tea/coffee/OJ/yogurt/bagels/muffins for breakfast
Sackets Harbor is a beautiful town with great restaurants and little shops. Everything is in walking distance from this wonderful Inn. It was truly a fabulous place to be during the holiday season as the community turns it into Whoville.
Loved my room! So pretty! Walkable to all restaurants and shops. I got to check in early. Very friendly staff and good housekeeping. Would definitely stay there again.
Loved this hotel. It was clean, super comfortable and very friendly. Sackett harbor is lively and very pretty. The room A/C was a bit too noisy but other than that - the hotel was perfect.
