Very nice property with a decent breakfast. Centrally located next to many restaurants and a lot of shopping. Friendly staff and clean hotel.

When booking a hotel inRome we’re.iced that this year the cost everywhere was highly inflated.We knew the price here was very high but we’re hoping to find a hidden gem. But we did not. First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem there. They have an outdoor, roof terrace for breakfast and for use at other times. However, our room was the disappointment. For a triple it was pretty small. The biggest problem was the room condition. The walls were a mess with dirty rub marks all over, that had obviously been there for a long time. This is an easy problem to solve and when charging over 350 Euros a night, it should have been. I would not recommend.

I loved the way the staff Leslie reached out to ensure our sunday afternoon check in was seamless. She was exceptional. The morning we checked out didn't go so well, for some reason there wasn't hot water to shower. We had to shower with cold water even though the staff tried to fix the issue. It wasn't fun at all. All in all they made sure our stay was actually very pleasant. Thanks

Charming and very European. The staff were very friendly. Since it is a smaller boutique place, the reception hours are not 24 hours.

Lovely hotel within walking distance from Termini station and local lines. Can also walk to most tourist attractions. Rooms clean and spacious. There is a lift to take you to all floors. Breakfast is good and able to enjoy on the roof terrace. Staff friendly and helpful.

Relais Monti was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The customer service was wonderful. The rooms were big. The hotel was very clean. Everyone was so helpful. They helped to arrange Taxis for the airport, gave us recommendations for food, and made us feel welcome. The air conditioning was also great to have during the Summer. Thank you to everyone at Relais Monti!

I was worried because this was the least expensive property that I found for 4 people in one room. I need not have been worried. This hotel is gorgeous! Its clean and safe, the beds were comfortable and the shower was huge. The front desk staff was so kind and helpful. Its only a 10 minute walk to the colosseum. I would absolutely stay there again.

Excellent hotel, within walking distance to all the major attractions. Hotel is near some great restaurants and shops. Staff are very friendly, room was cleaned daily, towels replaced daily as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who wish to visit Rome.

So close to Rome Termini train station, walkable even with luggage! 10 minute walk and you're at Colosseum. 4 minute walk to the Hop on Hop off Bus stop. If you like a boutique hotel feel and personal attention this is great. The woman who serves the breakfast buffet is lovely and really enjoys making you feel special. Nothing beats sitting on the terrace enjoying a quiet time before heading into busy ancient Rome hustle and bustle.

Well situated for walking the entire city. Close to main train station. Good room, good bathroom. Clean. Breakfast is located down the hall on 4th floor rooms and can be a bit disruptive for noise in the mornings, Breakfast is self serve with seating on terrace.

We were really disappointed when we arrived. The property was covered in scaffolding and we paid extra for a terrace room that we couldn't use. The breakfast advertised was not included along with the coffee machine. I tried to speak to the manager but there were really rude and told me to wait for a reply. Sadly it never came.

This is a beautiful hotel! My girlfriend and I had just one night booked before we left Rome, and we were disappointed it was only one night! The hotel room is big, looks great, and has many great amenities. Would definitely stay here again. The only complaint, and it's minor, is the elevator is without a doubt the slowest elevator I've ever been on. It takes a lonnnnng time. However, that's such a minor complaint that that wouldn't deter me from recommending this hotel.

Short walk to a lot.
Very clean and courteous staff. Nice location, lots of cafes, shops, grocery store and laundry on same street. 10 min walk to Colosseum, train station and Trevi fountain. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Place!
Great place to stay. Rooms were extremely clean and air conditioning was excellent. Centrally located within walking distance to major sights, and to the central train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was great and friendly. I would stay here again.

We are sorry that our structure don't meet your expectations, but I wanted to tell you that each room is equipped with a boiler to take tea or instant coffee and only the rooms on the 4th floor have a private terrace/balcony but we have the common terrace that can be used by all guests. Wonderful stay
Really walkable location. We walked to the colosseum and trevi fountain. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Room was comfortable and clean. We felt safe and would stay again.

I opted not to stay at a traditional hotel I wanted to experience The Monti area and Rome. I got the experience staying here. We were able to walk to the Colosseum, nearby restaurants, shops and to burn more calories walk to the Pantheon. The Vatican I got a Uber. Train station an easy walk to the hotel we used the train station to get and forth from the airport and to visit Florence for the day. The room was great. Now don’t get me wrong was the hardware in the shower not the best, yes but the water pressure was amazing and it was nice and hot! Just before my stay they sent me a message through WhatsApp and gave me very detailed message how to enter. If I had questions they messaged me immediately. When I went to the reception area she was very kind and helpful. I would stay here again. If your looking for a hotel to cater to every little demand and direct you what you do this hotel would not be for you. If you are a planner and know what your plans are and just need a nice place to stay and close to things to do this will be perfect. I opted for the terrace room. I really enjoyed going out there looking at the sky, reading my book, talking on the phone. We had an amazing trip!

I liked it here. Monti is a great place to stay when visiting Rome. Unfortunately because of COVID breakfast wasn't available. Staff were very kind and helpful.

I liked that my room had a terrace, and the room and bathroom were very spacious. The room was right next to the dining area where breakfast was served, which I liked, because I can wash my shaker bottle or grab a utensil for my takeaway. I didn’t like that I couldn’t sleep in because the walls weren’t soundproof from the dining room. And I wish there were curtains in the bathroom, because the frosted windows were not enough.

Problems with hot water but good location
In general this boutique hotel is nice - I would say good 3 stars. Very good location , quite big room for 3 people with comfy bed , clean bathroom , nice continental breakfast, but one accident with the hot water destroyed our stay...We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and our room was on the 3D floor. On the third day day after long day in the city we came back in the evening we came back to the hotel and there was no hot water . We informed the reception and she gave us the keys from the opposite room after few hours I went there but there was no hot water and then they explained there is no hot water on all floor ...and the next we were leaving and we complained that we still didn’t have hot water the night reception was not even informed their morning colleagues... yes the proposed the room on the 4th floor to use for shower but we didn’t have time for all 3 of us to have shower there and we all had not the best feeling about all our stay

I had informed my colleagues at the reception for the next day, but you didn't speak with them, but with the breakfast staff, who wasn't up to date.
