Located within the enchanting heart of Riga's Old Town. While hotels decor may lean towards the vintage side, it still exudes an inviting warmth and adequate comfort that guests can appreciate.
Our room was thoughtfully positioned above what seemed to be the breakfast area or a similar communal space. This led to the inevitable hustle and bustle in the morning hours, emanating from downstairs, which some guests may find disturbing.
As for the bed, it bore signs of a seasoned hospitality veteran, its years of faithful service somewhat reducing its initial comfort level. Perhaps a refreshing update to the bedding is in the near future, promising more restful nights for the guests.
Turning our attention to the spa facilities, a gentle touch of extra attention and care would be quite beneficial. The sauna, unfortunately, fell short of warmth, and some areas of the premises exhibited a smattering of litter. At 10AM towels were unavailable and despite a request placed to the front desk, they never arrived.
Overall, the hotel stands as a decent choice for accommodation, although it seems to slightly lag behind its siblings in the Pullman chain.
