We had a great stay here. Warm welcome on arrival, nice cup of tea made for us. Room was lovely, bed was comfy. Breakfast was great.. fruit, yogurt, croissant, toast and full english! Would definitely return when we come back to Rhyl to visit our family.

Lovely room in this charming B&B. A building full of character and original features clearly loved and renovated by the owners. Easy walk (15-20 mins) to the sea front. The hosts were professional, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing - delicious and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend if you are planning a stop in Rhyl.

It was an old but lovely building with amazing staff. It was so quiet despite being so close to a main road. I would stay there again quite happily. The breakfast was wonderful, everything done to perfection and the special requests remembered too! If you arent staying here then you're not getting the best treatment!

Great place, nice people, lovely breakfast with classical music to chill too in the morning, nice large conservatory and garden setting. Fantastic sitting room with gothic style fire place. (with real fire) Great restaurant/ dining room setting. Highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful place to stay in Rhyl
Wonderful nights stay in Rhyl in a 400 year old guest house filled with character. The hosts were warm and friendly and nothing too much bother. The room was stunning and well equipped. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of fresh fruit followed up by a good quality breakfast. Will definitely stay again when visiting Rhyl.

Lovely quiet location in a beautiful old house. Evira and David are fantastic hosts. The little touches / extras in the bedrooms were very appreciated. The food was some of the very best I have ever eaten

A gem of a B & B, absolutely superb.
We stayed at this lovely B & B on Friday 24th March 23. The property dates back over 300 years and is decorated, as a property of this nature should be. Our room was large and spotlessly clean and the location was close to the main road, although we could not hear any traffic noise. Our hosts were informative and very friendly and I have to say, breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in any B & B / hotel, I have ever stayed at. I can highly recommend this lovely B & B, for anyone travelling around North wales and the Rhyl area. Thank you so much to the couple who run the B & B, who made us very welcome and made our one night stay so enjoyable. We will be returning sometime later this spring.

Lovely hotel

No clear signs of main door. Parking is on the mud. When u go out keys of your room must be left with the staff. Cats all over the place in the property. Stairs and steps in the property unsafe. No bathroom curtain.

I'm disappointed with this review in that we didn't match your expectations. The car park was a little muddy due to the excessive rain fall we had over a few days before your arrival. I'm grateful we weren't flooded as many other areas had been and of course as it's part of the garden it will take time to dry out. I ask my guests to leave their keys as it's easy for me to know if my guests are in or out. Also the big old lock on your door that the big key fits into are very expensive to replace when guest forget and take it with them. I'm unsure of what you mean by stairs and steps are unsafe? The stairway up to the bedroom is regular and has a banister. Tyn Rhyl is over 400 years old so there are different levels where additional rooms have been added over the century so the only step I can think of is the one at the bottom of the stairs where you push the door on the right to go through to the hall. That has a step down and is clearly marked with 'MIND THE STEP!' I understand you may have been confused as to where the front door is as its not on the front of the house. Coming up the drive you pass the front door. It is on the side of the house, painted red, with a stone lion either side and has a large slate sign with Tyn Rhyl written on it. Its old and has a simple latch handle which can confuse people and I know you had difficulty with. You are correct about the cats. I do have a cat but the property at the back, near the car parking area also have cats and they do wander round the grounds, entering the property when ever a door or window is left open. Your bathroom had a Victorian roll top bath with a mixer tap so there's no shower curtain. Perhaps if you had asked me for a shower when I showed you the room I could have swapped you over to another room. I remember you as a nice quiet gentleman and maybe you felt awkward about addressing these issues with me. I am sorry for any distress we may gave caused you and wish you all the best.

Had a one night stay in Tyn-Rhyl and absolutely loved it, the owners are amazing very friendly and helpful. The property is old and beautifully kept with amazing features. The food is fantastic and all made by one of the owners who is a great chef. Very well priced and we will defiantly be back.

The best B&B you could imagine
This B&B is the best I have stayed in. Everything is cared about, the building, the delicious fresh food at breakfast, and dinner, the drinks, the quietness, the cleanliness. All those tiny things that make a stay special; windows that open, choice of shower products, lots of tissues, a great bedroom tea tray, a quality duvet, the friendliness of staff, I could go on and on but there is no room.

Only there one night but I found everything quite pleasing. Nice big TV in room, warm, quiet and quite a few nice added extras like a little bit of sherry in the room. Nice breakfast and had my first try of veggie haggis.

A genuinely friendly welcome. A great location for Rhyl with free parking for your car. Clean rooms and good clean breakfast with attention to detail. If you can but choose not to stay here then you've missed a hidden gem. In fact don't stay here so there is more room for me when I plan my next stay in the area.

Not really much to add to the other reviews other than to say Ty'n Rhyl was every bit as good as everyone else says. Especially the complimentary coffee and cherry and almond tart on arrival. The house was interesting, the bedroom was fabulous and we abandoned our trip to the pub to watch the England match and elected to stay in instead. Great breakfast too. Thank you so much, Elvera. We will stay with you again sometime.
