For the price, it's very ok I should say. Property is "far" from center or ferry port, but the whole town is very small, the "far" is only 4 blocks away, 5 minutes walking, so, this is not a problem. The overall environment is quiet and you live in a garden with a couple of small yard with healthy plant. You can hear dog barking (there seems no way to avoid anywhere in island). We don't call it noisy. The noisy is actually from construction. If not in construction season, probably much better. And some add-on benefit staying here is: The host seems overall organize the Volcano hiking tour, he prepared the lunch box for the tour as well. And the hiking tour we booked from him directly is $35/p.p. The tour bus is parking in this property. Due to the ongoing construction, hotel have working noisy the whole day when we stay. Which might also the reason result the room is cover by dust. And seems not all room ready to welcome guest, missing a lot of necessity. But you can ask for and they would fix it immediately. And for some bad lucky, 1 of the room having bedbug, but another room is ok. And the shower not working in 1 room, after we reported to host, who move us to another room, which was having much better shower water flow. Check out time is 10am, but we were allowed to stay till 1pm for free to catch our flight scheduled on 2pm. Which is very friendly and appreciated. Staff are very nice and helpful. Overall, I should say, we get what we paid. :)

We really enjoyed staying at this hostel. Very clean room full of natural light, good shower. The service excellent with a wonderful breakfast. The owner always ready to help and answer any questions. Highly recommended

La estadía en general estaba bien, el internet en la habitación es pésimo y si deseas trabajar no es una opción, las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables, la habitación no tenía tv y el check out era muy temprano en la mañana algo que parece común en Galapagos, las sábanas estaban manchadas y las cubrecamas un poco también

Amazing stay!
The best hotel in the Galapagos! The room were so nice, clean, bright and had everything we could wish for (AC, space, towels, shampoo etc). The breakfast was lovely and the courtyard as well. There was a water refill which was so useful. The staff was so nice, on our last day we left at 5am so couldn’t have breakfast and the owner gave us a lunch box to take with us. So lovely!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. Also they organise tours which we wished we had known about. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Great place to stay - comfortable bed and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Easy to walk to the beach. Only downside was all the loud dogs in the neighborhood barking in the night - take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper! This has been the case at other places I’ve stayed in Galapagos that are more in the neighborhoods, so is not unique to this property. I recommend this place.

Bonita estancia a buen precio
Gran relación calidad/precio, sobre todo considerando los precios desorbitados que tienen estas islas y lo malos que son los servicios. Es un hotel bonito, aseado y bien regentado. Las habitaciones son cómodas, espaciosas y acogedoras, y el personal es muy amable y gentil. No es la mejor ubicación, pero en Isabela todo está cerca andando.

La encargada del Hostal de nombre Cecilia no reembolsa, todas las personas que ofrecen los servicios de tours en isla San Cristóbal y en Santa Cruz dan muy malas referencias de ella y su hostal. Yo hice una reserva pagada y por falta de transporte no pude llegar a hospedarme quedo muy formal de reembolsarme y me robaron mi dinero, POR FAVOR NO SE HOSPEDEN AHI, hay mejores opciones e incluso a mejor precio. OJO LES PUEDE ROBAR SU DINERO EN CASO DE REEMBOLSOS. Si alguien quiere pruebas escribame y se las comparto por whatsapp

I really enjoyed staying here and the property had a wonderful feel and so much safety. The room was clean and fresh and they cleaned between my stay as well. Check in was easy and seamless and informative. The breakfast was really nice with fresh fruit juice, coffee, bread, jam, fresh papaya, watermelon, bananas. Out of the main downtown it was a simple 5 blocks to walk to the bustling area of downtown for dining. Really enjoyed and would stay again. Loved the spiral staircase and Also loved the volleyball and basketball courts a block away and went to watch volleyball each night.

Loved Isabela and loved this hostel
Absolutely wonderful staff and family. Great room. Fast service if I ever needed a taxi or shuttle. Super sweet staff that truly brings a smile to your face with their attitude towards the work they do. Only recommendation would be breakfast options. Breakfast is delicious but eggs come one way and not many protein options. 100% would come back here and recommend to anyone.

Best hotel management
The hotel manager made our stay. We got into an odd situation where a vendor booked a tour for the tunnels that didn’t exist and she helped us get our money back. She went above and beyond for us and made our trip much better. The hostal has free breakfast and is the start of where the bus for the volcano tours pick up. It also has a free bus to the ferry in the afternoon. We had a great stay here.

It was exactly what we needed to sleep and shower for the couple nights the 3 of us were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I believe they are adding on but we were gone on excursions during the day and were not bothered by any construction noise. Breakfast included was lovely and slightly different each day.

Aufenthalt war in Ordnung und die Unterkunft erfüllte für den Preis seinen Zweck, hatte jedoch teilweise einen negativen Beigeschmack. Da wir kein Spanisch sprechen war die Kommunikation mit der Inhaberin nur schwer möglich. Wir hatten auch das Gefühl aufgrund unserer schlechten Spanisch Kenntnisse in diesem Hotel nicht Willkommenen zu sein. Das Internet war nicht wie auf der Internetseite versprochen - teilweise war nichtmal das laden von WhatsApp Nachrichten möglich. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass das Frühstück offiziell von 6:30-8:00 Uhr ist. Jedoch muss man bedenken dass es ab 7:30 nicht mehr aufgefüllt wird bzw. kurz danach abgeräumt wird. Roomservice/Zimmerreinigung wird eigentlich auch jeden Tag versprochen, ist bei uns jedoch nicht erschienen bis wir explizit darauf bestanden haben… Insgesamt ist der Internetauftritt dieses Hotels/Hostels viel professioneller wie in der Realität.

Confort de la chambre de base. Propre sans plus et la femme de ménage touche à tout. Café du matin dilué avec celui de la veille. Service de buanderie payable à la livre. Restaurant et bar ne sont plus fonctionnels. Bien situé, les rues de l'île sont en terre et les chiens jappent jour et nuit. Gentillesse des proprio et si vous êtes chanceux ils vont vous préparer leur mélange équatorien de plantain et d'oignons: délicieux!

Amazing family run unique travel experience
This was a last minute back packing trip for us from US. Isabella is the least populous of the three major islands. The owner Cecelia is quite popular and influential on the Island. Being non Spanish speaking, we anticipated some challenges but Cecelia and her family made sure we felt at home. We have stayed at several premium luxury hotel chains - this was a very unique cultural experience with two teenagers. Farm fresh breakfast with papaya (they have their own farm) was heavenly. They tailor made trips for us. Hard working, down to earth and very generous family. Leave your ego at home and be ready to enjoy the island life the Ecuadorian way. Just be kind.

Noisy neighborhood
It was noisy at night with many barking dogs in the next door neighbors yards. Staff was good. Room was large and nicely decorated. Hotel was always clean. Breakfast was unimaginative and the coffee was not strong.

saludos Noisygracias por enviar su comentarios , todo sirve para mejorar, los perros es un problema en isabela lamentablemente la gente no es eduacada en tener sus perritos en casa y las autoridades no hacen su trabajo,el desayuno es americano y puedes servirle lo que requiras , el cafe es local y etoy segura que se repitio mas de 2 tasas de cafe,fue un plaser atenderlos saludos

Rapport qualité prix mediocre

Lovely place
Wonderful stay. We felt like home great and kind host they made us feel like family. My kids felt safe and had a great time. Cecilia and her family are the most kind people. Totally recommended.

The host family was very helpful and friendly - helped us with tour bookings and laundry. Also because we had to leave super early for a morning ferry to another island, the host even prepared a bag of snacks and drinks for each of us the night before. Very thoughtful!

Highly Recommended!
The family that owns the place is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They helped us book a volcano tour/hike which was wonderful as well as ferry tickets, taxi, and recommendations for other things to do while we were on the Island. Location is great too, close to everything but in a quiet part of town. We would definitely stay here again

Een heerlijke plek met een gezellige tuin.
Een leuk intiem hostel met een service gerichte eigenaar en eigenaresse! Alles is ruim opgezet en schoon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk!

The staff at this very inexpensive hostal were fantastic! Friendly, super helpful and with a delicious sense of humour. Our air on wasn’t working so they immediately moved us to another room which was clean, comfortable and cool! They made us a delicious breakfast, sorted out taxis to collect and drop off and were altogether marvellous.

Disappointed
Young guy at the front desk was wonderful. And his mother seemed very nice (maybe the owner? Not sure as she didn’t speak English) However, the housekeeping staff were not friendly- never left towels, toilet paper and soap, and frequently we could not find anyone to give us some. Sheets were dirty, and the last night they forgot to put a blanket on my son’s bed. Very noisy very early in the morning (started around 5:30) with dogs barking and children yelling.

Great location, good breakfast, very helpful staff
Great value for the price. All fresh ingredents for breakfast. We loved the side visit to the farm, thanks Luis. Carmen was very friendly and helped us with our Spanish. 20 minute walk to pier and Concha de Perla for great snorkeling. Staff arranged tours to Las Tuneles and Tintoria. Don't miss these. Several tasty restaurants facing the main street across from the town square. Try the set menus for $7. OK WIFI, water took about 5 minutes to get warm. We LOVED Isabella, thanks Cecilia, Luis, and Carmen.

Saludos Claude muchas gracias por su comentario, si nuestra finca nos provee de todos los productos que se consume en el hotel, todo es fresco y sin químicos, completamente orgánico, en la granja se hace la mermelada, mantequilla, pulpa de fruta entre otros, ha sido un placer tenerlos con nosotros, gracias por su comentario y estadía. esta es su casa y estamos para servirles

We liked the Eco volunteer. He was very helpful. Big spacious rooms and situated in a quite area just 7 minutes walk to the center of the village/beach. Free purified water. Breakfast was only from 6:30 to 8:00 (almost sharp). Way to early when you are on holidays. Staff is very pushy in selling tours.

saludos Alex. gracias por su comentario, para nosotros es placer poderles atender y que se sientan bien atendidos en alojamiento , en el hotel el personal no ofrece tours, es una persona de la agencia que esta siempre para dar información y ofrecer los diferentes tours que hay en isabela , mas no es obligación de comprar como nuestra agencia hay muchas en el pueblo eso es opcional verificar precios y escoger la que le convenga.. gracias por este comentario hablare con la persona indicada para que esto no se repita saludos cordiales
