BED BUGS!! We had a few issues with this property before we even got into the room. The company tried to take payment 2 days before our arrival, despite us selecting Pay on Arrival. When we arrived we were told to check in to a sister hotel, Hotel U Malvase, where we were greeted with a rude receptionist who told us we were in the wrong place. Eventually she took payment and asked us to fill out the check in registration forms. We dropped our bags off and returned after the 3pm check in. We headed to the boutique residence and you need a code to get into the door. This had not been sent to us, so we rang the receptionist from Hotel U Malvase who again was incredibly rude and said she was going to send it via message. We had to wait 20 minutes and phone her back, where she reluctantly then gave us the code. The worst bit. On the 2nd night around 10pm, we spotted a bed bug on our pillow & after further investigation, a couple more. We immediately packed up and headed to the Hotel U Malvase and insisted to check out and a refund. We were greeted with a lovely receptionist this time who did not argue that they were bed bugs & offered us to stay in that hotel instead (4 star) in an executive double room with breakfast included for the remaining 2 nights. This of course was an upgrade and we were happy with how that was dealt with. Do not stay at the Prague Boutique Residence.

Location is great, in the middle of old town, 4 mis to the square, easy check in, room was very tidy and clean, bathroom is squeaky clean and sanitized, self check in and out, only thing if you are a light sleeper there will be street noise outside in the morning, it didn’t bother me personally but keep that in mind if you decide to stay in the middle of old town boutique hotel anyway, I would stay here again.

Exclent lokation, in the senter of the old sity, one minit from the clok tower. The room was klin and the brekfast was rich and good. The service was exclent spachaly mr. Dima that was very kind and give us very good solochen for evrything. Happy to recomand.

Location was great. Check in was confusing, no one was at reception at all during our stay. Room was spacious however if your room is on the street side it is super noisy due to the street below, especially at night - ear plugs are a must!

We were frustrated and disappointed that our order of a takeaway breakfast and lunch was not prepared and ready as ordered, but DANIEL immediately came to the rescue - he simply said "please wait here, I have it for you in 2 minutes" - and off he dashed, returning, in no time, with scrumptious sandwiches and fruit for our trip. Thank you for your CAN-DO attitude, Daniel. We simply loved the breakfast and the helpful service in the dining hall - thank you! Rooms were modest, but we appreciated the excellent water pressure in the showers. Unfortunately, our fridges did not work, this despite reporting the problem.

The location, in the heart of the Old Town, is magnificent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfasts (which are offered just a short walk away) are excellent. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Our double room was on the top floor, up three flights of stairs, but the manager on duty carried our cases up for us. The room was small, with a sloping ceiling due to the structure of the centuries old building, but welcoming.

Location was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. Beds weren’t the most comfy but were tolerable. Room was cleaned every day. Cons would be that our room faced the street and there were people who roamed the streets likely after a night of partying and were very loud until 4-5AM. Made it difficult to sleep and as a result only had 2-3 hours of sleep some nights. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

There was no AC. We asked for a fan, which was never delivered. The room was so tiny that there was just a bed, not even one chair and no place to put your luggage. The towels were not changed during our 3-night stay. The bathroom was clean and functioning, good water pressure and hot water every day. There is a busy pedestrian alley (Jilska) outside the hotel and tourists keep strolling there all night long. There are also two restaurants with terraces just meters away from the window. Because of the noise it’s impossible to keep the window open in the night. It was really too hot and noisy in the room. The receptionist (who is not there all the time, so you get a key for the front door of the building) told us that the Jilska 24 building is just one of four locations of the hotel (?). The breakfast was served in the address Anenska 7, in hotel U Malvace. The breakfast was really good and it was served in an inner yard garden. In addition to all the basic stuff, there was ice cream and sparkling wine (mimosas!), and even a lady baking pancakes and omelettes as per you wish. This made me even more disappointed that we were placed in the sad little Jilska building... The distance between Jilska and Anenska is 350 meters. The restaurant photos you see on the website of Prague Boutique Residence are not from Jilska building. Maybe they are from U Malvace? So it seems that you will be put in any of the locations they have. I would not go there again. The location is good.

The hotel has a great location. It is spread out across three properties in the square though, meaning that staff is not always immediately available. A number is on the door to call if there is no one there, but if you are traveling internationally and do not have phone access, this is not convenient. I was also told to leave my luggage in my room for checkout and it would be brought downstairs and stored for me. When I returned later to retrieve my luggage, it had been left in my room. At first, I was nervous because the owner told me it may be in the common area kitchen, which is not a secure location. Finally, someone came to retrieve it for me after 30 minutes of waiting. The room itself was very nice and very well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. The shower did not get hot though, just barely warm. Overall, it was nice, but I was disappointed for the high price I paid.

The best hotel and most amazing staff!
We were wary of this hotel after reading some of the reviews because they have two separate buildings. We weren't in the main building but we loved it! We were right in the middle between old town square and Charles bridge so super central. Dejan, the receptionist made our trip! He was the most helpful, interesting, kind and caring staff member I have ever met! He is a credit to this hotel and I would go back in a heartbeat. Do not hesitate with this hotel! It's perfect. (They don't have lifts so if you don't like climbing a couple stairs then maybe it's not for you)

The hotel is great. Breakfast is very good, but you need to walk to the other hotel location to eat. That location is close to the bridge, so we have no problem to go there to eat everyday. The room is very big and new. If you want to live in the hotel's newest location which is super quiet, ask for the location at Jewish area. On the other hand, the house keeping staff came really late every day. And she already forgot to refill something such as soap, totliet paper ...

Excellent location
This hotel is in an excellent location, 2 minutes walk from the old town square with the Christmas markets and the astronomical clock, and the Charles bridge maybe 5 minutes away. Maria, on reception was so friendly and helpful, giving us lots of tips for our stay and walking us to the restaurant where we'd need to go for breakfast which was only 2 minutes walk away also. The hotel was ideal for us, very comfortable bed, a nice shower and access to a shared kitchen, coffee making facility in the room and a mini bar. My only negative is that it's very noisy in the room, I don't think there's any noise protection from the windows and street cleaning was carried out each night at 12pm and bin collections each morning at 6am during our 3 night stay with voices from outside being heard for most of the night...it didn't bother my partner but I found it difficult even wearing earplugs so if you're a light sleeper it's definitely a consideration. Having said that I'd still return and recommend it to a friend!

Definitely not a 4 Star
This is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are small and not looked after, and nobody is at the reception. So whenever you arrive you have to wait for them to open the door. During our staying this happened to at least 3 different guests in a couple of days. Mini bar is not refilled and rooms are not well cleaned. On the bright side location is perfect, but since it's an old building the noise at night is terrible, but they provide you with ear-plugs......

Dismal experience
Very DISAPOINTING! The hotel was not what the pictures showed, that was another branch of the hotel that we were never to see. The room was a tiny attic space, cramped and the toilet smell was overpoweringly bad. We waited over an hour for somebody to arrive and check is in after calling them several times. Then we seen what the room was we tried to explain the adds pictures did not match up to which we were told we didn't know what we were talking about. The guy was a real gem! Once I produced the pictures on my phone he told us if we wanted to stay there he could work something out but that it would cost us s little bit more. So after wasting over $100 on this place and having no faith left in this guy we were stuck with the smelly "room" and just had to get on with it. The next morning looking for breakfast we had to walk 10minutes to yet 'another' branch of this hotel to a fairly dismal spread. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone as it was an exceptionally disapointing experience and ruined what was to be a romantic break.

Disappointing
We stayed here with three adults and two children. And we chose the hotel based on the centric location and the Free parking it offered on hotels.com Unfortunately the receptionist told us that the free parking was only for the nights, during daytime you pay. When showing her the system where it says free parking, she did not take responsibility for this and asked us to pay ourselves. The check in was strange too, they told us that they were overbooked and asked us to go to other hotel that they would pay for us. The other hotels they offered had even lower ratings on hotels.com which I did not want to accept. after 40 minutes looking for other options they suddenly had rooms for us. The hotel is perfect if you wish to party until late night. We with a family we wanted to sleep at 12 am. But it was impossible because the windows of our rooms were on the street side and constant screeming and also regular cleaning cars will keep you awake all night. The room itself is very beautiful but all these other things will never make me return here.

Would certainly stay again.
A few hiccups along the way with unexpected problems with the property itself but the hotel staff more than made up for it with their service and friendliness. I rated the room as a 3 for comfort but only because there is no air conditioning and it was quite humid in Prague during my stay. Other than that it was very comfortable. The location is really perfectly situated. Would certainly stay again.

I had only two days to stay in Prague and wanted to walk a lot. Perfect location for me,quite noisy but it was people noise, not car noise and that was kind of novel. Really accommodating staff, but left you alone to get on with things and gave a phone number to call if you needed anything. Close to everything, come and go as you please. Loved it and taxi to the airport at 4:30 am as promised. I hope to return.

Nice hotel in a great location. Room nice and clean but a little small (302). Staff excellent and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Had a difficulty finding the restaurant for breakfast but most likely my poor sense of direction. However when we found it the food was plentiful and of good quality.Thank you for all the help during the stay. Girl on reception (sorry forgot your name) was extremely pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great little hotel right In center of Old town square, perfect location and in walking distance to most amenities. Hotel on 3 floors. Female reception greeted with lovely smile and was most helpful and informative. Hotel included breakfast at another location just minutes away. Room itself was clean, bed was comfortable, would have given excellent for hotel facilities and room comfort if there had been air conditioning or a ceiling fan in the room. Room 204 on the second floor and at the rear of the hotel and was quite. I would certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Amazing central location to all the main tourist attractions. Generous size rooms. Only problem is with it being it this location it is very noisy at night and the rooms have no fans or air-conditioning requiring there windows to be left open. To counter this they do provide ear plugs.

Although the location was central and very convenient, it was not worth it. The room was basic but clean, so that was a plus. However, it was VERY noisy throughout the night (bunch of drunk and loud people right outside of your window, singing, yelling, fighting, throwing random objects, etc), and we barely got any sleep. No A/C in the room (it was around 35 degrees celsius during our stay), except for two rooms on the third floor. The stairs were poorly maintained, and I almost tripped and fell numerous times. The male staff who claimed to be a "hotel manager" asked us to move to a different room for our last night in Prague because they apparently made some booking errors. He did not seem to think that he was causing any inconvenience to us. We ended up waiting around for a few hours for them to give us a different room! When we complained about the "new" room, the "manager" said that he will try to find an alternative room and will let us know in 15 minutes. Well, he disappeared, and we never saw him again. Shower did not drain well, and their "designer toiletries" only included liquid soap that smells like Tide (laundry detergent). We also did not get any housekeeping service, either. The bottom line is, we will stay at a different hotel if we visit Prague again.

We booked this hotel for one night in Prague as we were going to Karlstejn the next day. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that the room was unavailable and that 3 rooms had been flooded due to a pipe problem. We are not sure whether this was true but the staff was very helpful. Someone from the hotel came to meet us and spoke English. They offered help to look for another hotel and made phone calls. We finally found another hotel in the centre and the hotel staff paid for it. All in all, it was disappointing that we had to waste time looking for another hotel for just one night but the staff was very helpful and apologetic. They also offered us drinks and food in their restaurant. I had to give a rating to the room to submit the review but this does not reflect the reality as we did not stay at this hotel.

This is hotel is in a fantastic location, the room was spotless and the staff were very friendly, the only negative I have about it is, we were on the 3rd floor and I had hurt my back before we flew so my daughter had asked if we could be moved to a lower level floor as 2 women were checking in the same time as us and they didn't like the location of their room so they got moved to the sister hotel, she was told someone would get back to her but nobody did, I asked again the following morning and was told the same thing, I asked 1 final time on friday afternoon but still no one got back to me, the stairs really aggravated my back. So if you have any medical problems with your back or legs request a lower level room.

A great experience
A 25 minute pleasant walk from the station, and a map is necessary, but it is worth it! Hotel is right in the heart of the old town, old and renovated in a very tasteful way. Little kitchen on each floor was handy. Breakfast was in a fabulous "sister hotel" right next to the Charles bridge. All in all a lovely hotel in beautiful Prague.

Excellent location and great value!
I originally booked a single room but was upgraded to a larger room on the third floor. The accommodation looks just like the pictures, and the staff was very helpful. The location is right in the middle of Old Town, only a couple mins walk to the breakfast restaurant, Charles Bridge, and Old Town Square. The only thing to note is that it is in the middle of Old Town, so you're bounded to get some noise from the streets. Nothing too terrible though as it quiets down around 11 - midnight.

Vi spurgte det første hotel, om vi kunne få to ekstra overnatninger, men der var alt optaget, de kunne dog tilbyde os dette værelse i et andet område, kun 2 minutters gang fra vores første værelse. Håndvasken var stoppet og der var ingen aircon, men vi havde medbragt vores egen blæser hjemmefra, så vi overlevede varmen 😊 Super fin beliggenhed, lige om hjørnet fra det astronomiske ur, men hvis man er til fred og ro eller skidt til bens, vil jeg anbefale et mere moderne hotel, da dette ligger lige ud til en lille befærdet brostensgade med barer og restauranter, dertil er der ikke elevator, da bygningen er fra 1400 tallet. Men for os var det perfekt til de 2 ekstra værelser
