I honestly couldn’t be more impressed with this home, the neighborhood and the community. This home was new, clean and just beautiful. It was super convenient to the grocery store, shopping, the pool and most importantly direct access to the beach. We walked everywhere but the grocery store and seafood shop. The community was so clean and the people were very nice. We got freshly steamed peel and eat shrimp from the Shell Shack and it was absolutely delicious. Playing it Koi, was absolutely phenomenal and we will be back.

Great Family Getaway

House was perfectly appointed for family Fall Break beach getaway. Super clean and nicely decorated with rooms that perfectly suited our family with three kids. Would recommend!

Enjoyed our time

The house was well keep and community was very inviting. The beds were very comfortable and loved having paddle board for our daughter to use. Enjoyed walking around pond and seeing all the beautiful homes. The pool area was nice and we spent a good bit of time there.

Quiet Retreat

This property was located in a quiet area close to pretty beaches and plenty of places to safely ride bikes and run/ walk for exercise. We enjoyed being close to both Port Saint Joe and Mexico Beach. We loved the family feel and feeling of old Florida without all of the commercialization.

Family vacation

Great location and very nice house. My family really enjoyed themselves. It was a great get away and very relaxing. The only thing we noticed was the coffee pot didn’t work properly and there was reminisce of a dog (drool and dog hair on the wall in master bedroom). But other than that, everything was lovely. And thanks for providing all the beach supplies and bikes. Hope to visit again in the future!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful, new home in quiet residential area! The house was large and comfortable with a lovely screened in porch! Everything cleaned and ready for us! With the exception of the coffee maker that wasn't working properly, we made ourselves at home and enjoyed the stay! The master suite was very comfortable with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. All the amenities you'd need are there! A few minutes walk from the beach, this is a good area to relax! Thank you!!

INCREDIBLE

Our stay at Playing it Koi was incredible! The weather was not so good (raining) but the house was so spacious, and comfortable we stayed in and just relaxed! And I can’t begin to say how clean it was, I definitely would recommend it. We hope to stay it again this summer!

Things to think about!

It was fine but outside lighting was not as great, garage lights where out and we had plumbing issues that we had to wait 24 hours to was dishes because we had to turn off the kitchen water. Not a fan of the sand in the front yard either makes more sand to clean and hard for elderly to walk in to get to house. I don’t like that You have to go around to open the darsge door.

Beautiful place.

The house was beautiful. The open kitchen and living room area offer a lot of space. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all spotless. The location is great and the beach associated with the neighborhood is fantastic! We would def stay here again!

Great house, OK beach

We loved the house and the neighborhood. It feels like you're staying in a builder's model home. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly. The beach was not great. The second we stepped on to the sand we were swarmed with flies. We've never seen so many in one place in our lives. Bug spray did not help. A local we met told us it's touch and go with the flies. She said some weeks they are there, some they are gone. Also - there are no waves to speak of at this beach. The water is pretty much flat. Instead of walkign steps to the beach each morning (which is what we planned. why we rented this house), we packed up our kids and SUV and drove 5 minutes north to St. Joe Beach. There we had crashing waves and no flies. So - just a heads up for families with children who are excited to go to the beach. Something to consider.

Great House in a Beautiful Neighborhood

We unfortunately had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency but the time that we were able to stay was wonderful. Very nice and clean. If I had one criticism is that there are a lot of requested visitor cleaning procedures that are required to be done all while having to be checked out by 10. Trying to accomplish all of this by 10am with a family can be quite the challenge. Other than that, our stay was great.

Fall Back to Port St Joe

One of the newer properties at Windmark with garage. Home was well stocked with everything needed including items for beach. Though listed, no garage door opener, so lots of running around to back door to get in an open garage door, which was tiring. Enjoyed the bicycles and the home, though washer drain came out and caused bit of a clean up. Disappointed that no one came to check it out that evening or before our departure, though I had fixed the problem and spent several hours cleaning up the mess. No strike against owners but would pause before deciding to use that rental company again.

Sparkling clean and roomy new property

My wife, our pups, and I enjoyed a wonderful October get away to the dog friendly beaches of St Joe's. "Keeping it Koi" is a 3 bedroom property in a lovely quiet neighborhood just off the beach. The houses are connected by numerous boardwalks - perfect for walking our dogs, down to the neighborhood center which features a nice restaurant/bar, or to the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and modern. There is a large living area with flat screen smart TV. Wifi was fast. We only used the upstairs master and were very comfortable in a great king sized bed and double sink vanity in the bathroom. There's a separate garage with beach cruiser bikes and beach chairs for use. We enjoyed riding our bikes to Port St Joe's where we found a community tennis court. We mostly did take out because of the pandemic. The neighborhood seemed friendly and very quiet. We had a wonderful time and couldn't be more happy with our stay.

Labor Day getaway

Just wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay but it was too short! Its in a beautiful location. Easy access to the beach and the community pool. Bikes and beach toys made it even more fun! It was just a short drive into port St Joe. We loved the little town. It was the first of many trips back!
