Very basic and tired.
Convenient location but hotel extremely dated. You get what you pay for but the hotel was tired, the room smelled really musty. Aircon didn’t work - said they’d tried to fix it but couldn’t and suggested opening the window!! Bathroom was extremely small and a wet room which flooded with limited drainage. The whole place was extremely basic.

Friendly welcome. The doorbell was answered promptly. The location is ideal, between the train station and the city centre. A good breakfast was included. The hotel is tired and needs maintenance. Worn stair carpets. Worn keys. Overall a good value place to stay in Piacenza.

TERRIBLE MOTEL
No sign, very difficult to find this place. The front desk lady can not speak English at all. No elevator, no staff to help, had to carry suitecase to climb up several floors. Room is super dark, full of mold smell. The chair is brocken and my husband had to take it downstairs to get replacement. The draining in bathroom is loosely placed, very easy to triple over it and fall down. Do not have any supplies at all. The bed is uncomfortable. They turned off the heating after mid night and outside was only 8°C. The heating was turned on in the morning. They thought people will not noticed. The so called breakfast just has croissant and cookie. Avoid this place if you can.

Odissea a Piacenza
Albergo cambiato all'ultimo momento, non mi hanno fatto soggiornare all'Astor ma in periferia (che era chiuso da un mese, nessuna comunicazione fino all'ultimo minuto così non ho pensato mi servisse GPS), GPS non funzionante, il nuovo hotel è introvabile perchè fuori mano in serata nebbiosa non si vede cartello da strada. Serve GPS per arrivarci. Ristoranti distanti 400 m da hotel su strada molto trafficata a velocità sostenuta con nebbia, l'attraversamento della strada lo giudico pericoloso, solo striscie pedonali, serve auto. Stanza illuminata durante la notte perchè scuro non si abbassa, così ho difficoltà a dormire, tostapane sporco nonostante sia arrivato per primo per la colazione con resti del cibo dei giorni precedenti. Colazione in ambiente di passaggio con cani che circolano (al guinzaglio ovvio ma il naso ce lo mettono sui tavolini), luce non accesa della cucina, solo quella del soggiorno

L'albergo per se nn era male, molto comodo per girare a piede, molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, la ragazza della reception molto cordiale, molto pulito, nn do 5 stelle per il fatto che l'albergo era troppo caro, considerando che era un albergo di 2 stelle, ho pagato la stesse cifra di un albergo di 4 stelle.

L'Hotel Astor si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Piacenza. Il check-in parte dalle ore 16.00 e sono stato ben servito all'arrivo. Ho avuto una camera singola: ho trovato letto e armadio comodi, il bagno pulito. Purtroppo la temperatura della camera era troppo alta, mentre il bagno non aveva un piatto doccia, quindi, per lavarsi si allagava tutto il bagno. La colazione è compresa nel prezzo, una colazione semplice ed adeguata. Ho apprezzato soprattutto la comodità della posizione (vicino alla stazione). Albergo adatto per soggiorni brevi.

La posizione è ottima, 10 minuti dal centro e un minuto dalla stazione, però le camere sono molto vecchie, rumorose, nel bagno non funzionava il termosifone. Il letto matrimoniale era composto da due materassi singoli che si aprivano in mezzo. Colazione molto basica con prodotti di scarsa qualità.

Beim booking durch expedia ist das check in um 14h im Vertrag. Verschwitzt vom velofahren stehen wir um 14.15 vor dem hotel. Ein Schild teilt uns mit checkin erst ab17h und keiner nimmt das Tel. ab. Wir müssen 3std warten. Verkauft durch Expedia als 3 Stern ist es 2 Stern angeschrieben. Wirklich sehr schwach

A 5 minuti dalla stazione Fs ed a 10 dal centro storico, la posizione strategica è il punto forte di questo hotel, che comunque avrebbe bisogno di una bella rinfrescata.Stanza ampia con mini-bagno, ma sufficiente per soggiorno di una notte.

Vi anlände på kvällen. Hotellet var svårt att se, ingen belysning eller upplyst skylt. Språksvårigheter med personal, kunde inget språk förutom Italienska. Rökfritt rum luktade starkt av tobaksrök. Mycket låg standard på rummet, slitet och mycket spartanskt inrett. Lyhört. Frukost under all kritik. Hyfsat billigt men inte alls värt pengarna. DETTA HOTELL SKA BORT FRÅN ERT UTBUD !!!
