The rooms are definitely small, but it doesn’t matter because the hotel is in such a great location, you won’t be spending tons of time there. Staff was super friendly. This place was perfect for a quick weekend trip to Philly! Would definitely stay again!

Corporate hipster aesthetic complete with a condesa/Mexico City themed bar restaurant area with the charm of a Cincinnati Applebees. Rooms are meant to be edgy but the harsh lighting, laminate floors, raw concrete ceilings, and dysfunctional electric industrial blinds offer the aesthetic comfort of a Norwegian prison cell. On the upside: staff was nice and everything was clean. If the rates were $100 less/night our judgement would have been less harsh.

The hotel itself was very nice. Room was small but so well done. Would have given 5 stars, but the music from the rooftop bar was so loud that it made sleeping a challenge. When I mentioned this to the front desk they said that the rooftop was a separate owner and that they have made attempts to ask them to lower it,but with no success. They did apologize for the noise.

I stayed 3 nights and was told that I was gonna have someone refresh my room and bring new towels each day I was there. No one came, so I called down to the service center and asked for new towels. I had to call multiple times until the night before I left someone finally brought new towels smh. Someone had a party on my floor, and they were literally so loud between 12 AM and 4AM. I didn’t get any sleep and there was nothing I could do about it because no one was at the front desk to receive a complaint. The room is extremely small with hardly any sink space the bathroom. When I was standing at the sink brushing my teeth, my legs would touch the toilet because it was so close to the sink. The cloth shower curtain in the bathroom was stained and disgusting. They need to replace those. I like the TV and the hardwood floors, but I expected more for the $630 I spent for 3 nights. No complimentary water, nothing. The Cambria hotel is much bigger and better hotel. I would recommend going with them if it’s cheaper on the days you’re going. Overall nice location near a lot of things

It was very conveniently located, just a few mins walk to Rittenhouse Square. My daughter and I walked 18 mins to Reading Terminal Market. The city is flat, so it's very walkable. The staff was nice and friendly, and the café sells delicious homemade treats and also coffee. Our room was a bit small, but it was fine and had everything we needed. Overall, it was a good stay! I would recommend it especially for the location.

Great business hotel. Rooms are very small- fine for short-term business travel but would be challenging for family vacations. Friendly staff, nice property, quiet rooms, great location- easy walk to many good restaurants. Have stayed here twice and will again in the future.

I loved this hotel!! it was so cute. The rooms were very spacious. They have really nice shampoo and conditioner. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They also have snacks downstairs and a microwave so that’s always nice if you wanted to just cook your own snack the coffee shop in the lobby is incredible. The cold brew with oat milk is one of the best cold brew I’ve had I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s super cute, quiet, comfortable and has a restaurant and a rooftop bar. Perfect location, close to everything!!

I was extremely disappointed in my stay at the Motto. My first room wasn’t clean. There was hair in the bathroom sink and the floor wasn’t swept accurately. The staff quickly moved me into another room but the view was terrible and there was an odor. You could also hear every time someone tried to adjust the blinds.
