We loved the yard, so natural - cute. The home had everything we needed, it was clean, spacious and a quiet neighbourhood. The only complaint, the couch was quite uncomfortable. Thanks so much!!

This place is the best place I have ever lived in. I enjoy cooking at home with my friends, drinking tea and chatting in the back yard. I recommend you to come and stay. One day is too short and I will stay for a long time next time.

This property was perfect for our family of four (kids are 12 & 14). We had enough space for our ski, bike and other sports gear, kids had their own rooms (very comfy beds) and we felt cozy relaxing in front of the fire place. We have been visiting my parents in Parksville for over 20 years and now that we travel with so much gear it was nice to have our own space and be only a few minutes away from them. We walked to the beach each day and local shopping is close by. Paul was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back again.

We were in Parksville for short time and the location was great, the kitchen worked perfectly for dinner and we all had comfortable beds!

Great Spot
This place was immaculately clean, we were very impressed. Great location and house layout for anyone travelling with a family. Only thing that needs attention is the yard; I would have loved for the kids to roam and explore the backyard but it was overgrown and had thorny bushes. Otherwise we loved our stay 😊

Quaint and Quiet
First impressions are very deceiving. The yard is very overgrown and messy and could do with a good cleanup. The inside of the house was a very pleasant surprise. Most of it is newly renovated and very clean. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need. There is a covered patio in the back. It is close to the community beach, grocery store and downtown. We were whyite happpy there and would return.

Great location just off the main road in Parksville, 5 min to the park and beach. House was older but updated inside. only odd thing was the stove. Seemed like it was added in the kitchen afterwards with no counter space on either side.

Wonderful holiday home!
We just got back from our 2nd stay at this awesome vrbo. We love how nice it is to come "home" to after busy days seeing the sights of the island! It has everything needed to make it feel inviting, comfortable & relaxing. And only a 5 minute walk to the beach and playground to finish off the day! It was a definite 5 star stay last year, and was exactly that again this year!

“Like a hotel” said the Kids
Everything about this place checks the boxes. Just to name a few highlights - upgraded applicants and recently renovated - great linen and towels - spacious rooms - clean all around - walking distance to beach - central location - kids loved it! Paul was easy to reach and quick to respond. Definitely ok’ing back here again!

Highly recommended for a family
Myself, my husband and 2 very young children stayed here for 4 nights. This house was perfect for our family! It was very clean, had all the amenities we required as well as was nicely renovated/decorated. As well it was in a great location and walking distance to the beach, parks and a few restaurants. My 3 year old son especially loved the outdoor space, there is lots of garden space to run around and play hide and seek in :) We highly recommend this house and communicating with the owner Paul was very easy and great! Five stars for sure!

Homey little beach house
This cozy little house felt like home aways from home. House was very clean, and nicely decorated. All appliances and electronics were up to date and like new. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed kitchen gadgets, utensils, dishes and pots and pans. One room came with futon, but after one night of terrible sleep, the owner came and replaced the bed, with no questions asked. House is also waking distance to the beach and various restaurants and services. Our group would definatelynstay here again next time we are in Parksville!

Excellent stay at this recently renovated home that has character
Really comfortable stay. Well equipped home that has been furnished with attention with lots of nice touches. Great wild garden at the back. The beach is a five minutes walk and though it is close to a busy road you cannot hear any noise. Location is great: anything you need is within a 5 to 15 minutes walk. We will definitely be back.

comfy family getaway
The house was great for our family trip - plenty of room and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking tasty meals together with fresh local produce. Spotlessly clean, abundant linens. A peaceful setting with expansive flowerbeds. The location allowed us to explore the area easily.

We’ll equipped, central location in town
Newly renovated bungalow, with comfortable beds, excellent kitchen, great parking. It has laminate flooring throughout, so it helped to bring slippers to keep feet warm, as we had rainy & cool weather. Wonderful to have Netflix available, without having to logon to our own account. Although close to the island highway, it was very quiet. Even though the house doesn’t have an ocean view, we did have a backyard wildlife visitor: a deer felt very comfortable to sit in the garden, and the landscape around the property made you feel like you were in the country. This property was well priced and pleasant.
