Nice staff. Rooms are tiny and bathrooms are somewhat tight. Clean and good for budget travel. A lot of traffic noise in the area but not terrible. First night there was a dog barking in one of the apartments below for hours.

Rooms are very small. Bathroom and shower even smaller. An average built American would not be able to take a shower in this bathroom. Place was clean and staff was courteous. This hotel is very close to Gare Montparnasse

The first room we received is not exactly the same as in the photo we saw when we book. The property managed to exchange the room for us even they have limit choice. And because of the weather in the summer season, I need to open the window as there is no air conditioner. That's why the noise was comimg in.

Avoid this hotel!
This hotel should be avoided, if possible. This hotel is run down, rooms are dirty, rooms are extremely noisy, it's in short a dump, and they charge exorbitant prices (for a dump!) Below are some takeaways: 1. We could clearly hear entire conversations taking place in neighbouring rooms (below, above, to the sides), we could hear people going to the bathroom (yeah...) next door...the walls are literally paper thin! 2. The staircase smells extremely strongly of mould. There was a hole in the wall of the lobby where water came in when it rained outside (see picture), there was water damage in our room's ceiling (see picture). 3. The room was not clean and many details, such as towel hangers, were broken or poorly maintained (rust/dirty) or just dirty (again see pictures). 4. We paid over 200EUR/night/room - we should have known better....joke's on us, don't repeat our mistake! We will never come back here and hope that this review is helpful for other travellers. Staff do their best to be helpful and welcoming, but again, the service leaves a lot to be desired - check-in/out is slow, welcome is grumpy/lazy. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Staff pleasant and helpful. Room tiny but what do you expect in Paris? Main concern: poorly cleaned and poorly maintained - carpet covered in debris and hair at outset - not cleaned during my stay.

DO NOT stay in this hotel, it is under extreme poor management and condition is appalling. It is closer to a one star hotel, than a three star as it claims to be. We stayed at Ibis budget hotel and it was better than here. 1. Poor maintenance: The rooms are narrow with very disgusting shower area. There were many rust stains, walls were cracked and the shower head had very weak water pressure. The shower door could not even be closed properly. 2. Poor customer service: We lodged a complaint about our missing personal belongings, but this was the beginning of our nightmare. The reception came to inspect our room and while she apologised and promised to investigate and update us in the morning, we heard nothing the next day morning. We dealt with several other receptionists regarding the issue but especially with Lilit, one of the middle age woman with blonde hair, she treated us with a dismissive attitude and was reluctant to help. 3. Poor management: We were told that we could talk to the manager (Alexander Nicolet)the next day 9-10am but the manager never showed up, even after the receptionist made a call to him, he claimed he has meeting to attend and will not come. We are clearly not valued/ prioritised as customers. Staying at this hotel had been exhausting. We want a full refund of our stay here for all the energy and time wasted due to poor management. We only got a refund for the towel after we said we will call the police for record of missing item.

This is old and so small. It is in front of train station so loud all day even night time. If you want to stay right next to train station it’s good location but we don’t need it. We need to stay quiet and good location where we can walk and enjoy our vacation.

Timhotel is a small hotel that has a great location (facing Gare Montparnasse). Rooms are acceptable BUT bathroom was very small and not easy to use at all !!!! Lift was also very small. The breakfast was good...

Really nice hotel
The heating was very good. Very important for people like us from a tropical country. The cleaning was very good, except for the last day that seemed to be made in a rush. Our paper and soap went finish. This was not comfortable. Excellent localization!!

Price was very competitive and it was a very central location. Housekeeping was good, just couldn't get the stopper out of the sink...otherwise we were pleasantly surprised by our stay here...enjoyed having a balcony and have recommended it to a friend going to stay in January

Best for quick business trip
Great for a quick (one-two day) business trip especially intercity using railways. Station a real walking distance, clean, nice staff, good wifi connection and well maintained. Only problem is if you have annoying neighbors (like i did) as you can hear everything as if in your room. Great value for money too.

First of all as a solo traveler my room was like a broom cupboard next to the lift I’ve asked them I haven’t travelled from UK to stay in this for that price they said it’s paris, but they changed it for another one at level 6 on two occasions I had to use the stairs as lift was temperamental, then my key didn’t work luky lye I’ve asked cleaner to let me inn, the hotel entrance had meters & meters of wires hanging like a art work and few workmen were working ,staff were friendly I forgot to have a right plug to my charger they sorted me out but electric went off but after a while they fixed the electric, it was clean with dodgy lift.

Paris is always awesome.
The hotel entrance was being renovated. The hotel has two sides so you go down some steps to a small elevator on one side and the other elevator is on the main floor. The bed was extremely comfortable for us. No air conditioning but a small fan made the unusually hot week bearable. The brown bag take away continental breakfast was thoughtful but there is too much packaging. The coffee was good. Located across the street from Gare Montparnasse made train connections easy. A 25 minute walk to the Seine.

Great location, close to the Montparnasse Train Station and local buses to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Try the local bakery Boulangerie Lucia & Marcelo, it's great (Google maps shows Le Fournil du Maine in that location)
