Perfect for a solo tpurist visiting Paris for the first time. Accommodating staff and great location. Just be sure to check that you've booked en-suite / with a private shower as these are extras. Great spot with good wifi. Cheap but reliably has everything you could need for budget travel! @explorerjohnny

This is my second stay at this hotel. It is certainly no frills but still has everything you need. Close to train stations, vintage shopping and exquisite dining options. The staff is kind and helpful. We could see Sacre Couer from our window. Can’t wait for the next visit!

The gates closes at 12 and they didn't open until 7:30 am, it is an issue because most of the activities in Paris are at night and you have to worry about the time you have to go back to the hotel.

Hotel Tiquetonne is a great place to stay to soak up the atmophere of Paris, all the main attractions are within walking distance, lots of reasonably priced restaurants, cafes, boulangerie's and supermarkets nearby. The hotel is basic and offers good value for money and is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was the WIFI which is poor.

I traveled alone and booked the most inexpensive room, so keep that in mind. All I really needed was a bed and bathroom, and I got the former. The toilet was in the hallway and was very cramped. The shower was in my room and that also was very cramped. The shower head did not hold and kept falling to eye level, forcing me to squat down to wash my hair (I'm short, so this could've been a bigger issue for tall people). Beyond that, the place was fine and in a decent area with a cafe about five seconds away. It's less than a mile north of the river and offers a good walk through a restaurant area with bars everywhere. Essentially, this place is fine for those who just need something to get by.

Disgusted with the attitude with Expedia travel team fir their poor customer support with this booking , had a transfer emergency situation in London because of rail strike , Expedia and the hotel just robbed me the money , total robbery and poor support from the Expedia travel team during this unforeseen situation .

Locked after midnight
We had a nice stay however you need to know that the hotel locks after midnight and the manager did not tell us how to get in after this time! If the bar across the way (which was closing) didn’t tell us about the secret way to get in we would have had to get another hotel for the night!! Not very good customer service- definitely need to inform the customers on these details.

Great location! Close to everything you need. Thousands of restaurants and bars all around. Huge shopping center steps away. Amazing boulangerie across the intersection. Staff is very friendly.

Comfortable bed but poor decor. For the amount of money paid £188 for 2 nights, poor facilities. No tea or coffee.Fan was provided kindly on hottest day of the year and taxi was booked for us to return to airport. Central to Louvre but overall poor for money spent.

Good hotel as a base for exploring Paris
Very good central hotel, with easy access to Chatelet de Halles station. Heating was a bit excessive, windows had to be opened to cool the room, however the night life outside was noisy and had to be closed again.

Staff was very friendly, however we had some other concerns with the property. The elevator did not work half the time, and there were many stairs. The internet did not work in the evenings. It was very noisy. You could hear every door shut, drilling, talking, etc.

Very cosy and comfortable. Even a view of the Eiffel Tower from my room, which was an unexpected treat! I was on the top floor, and I found it very quiet and warm. It is very humble and simple, but I slept well and would happily stay there again.

It is a one star rated hotel, although My search at Expedia was for 3 plus stars and price was accordingly. I arrived from the airport at 0030 am and the place was closed, had to wait in the street for quite a while until some angry man in his pigammas opened the door accusing me for not coming on time. Then the room was extremely poor, nothing is there, not television and no closet or drawers to put my clothes in. WiFi not working for most of the time I stayed there. I’d say that one star will be a compliment for this facility while my order was for a 3 stars hotel. The room was clean though. This place should be considered youth hostel and not hotel.

Do not stay here!
This was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed at. It was disgusting. I’ve stayed at budget-friendly hotels and this will be my worst. The place is old but outdated and unkept. I got a room with a shared bathroom. It was disgusting. Out of 8 floors there’s two floors with showers. They are always full. On my check out morning I waited 3 hours for the shower. Do not stay here. I never write negative reviews but this was too bad to not say anything.
