Madame Claudine’s apartment was centrally located for all of our excursions during our stay. She was very helpful in providing information about the area and where any necessities could be found nearby. Had an amazing stay! The property is a couple hundred feet from the most used metro stop! Making travel and access across Paris and all of the Olympic venues a breeze! Food and night scene is also vibrant! 10/10 would stay here again!

Perfect for a "We live in Paris" vibe
The area is amazing. There are so many amazing and famous restaurants, cafes and brasseries. Vibrant, fun neighbourhood. It is easy to get to all the different arrondisemonts in Paris. Claudine's place is quaint and is a very Parisian walk-up style apartment. It had everything we needed and was very safe. It has a little kitchen so could go to the franprix around the corner for baguettes, cheese, snacks, wine, etc. She was warm and kind and gave us all the info we needed, including how to get to her place from the airport and many tips on places to see and neighbourhoods. She also has so many books on Paris, walking tours, maps and other info that were great to look at as we planned our days. The metro and bus will get you everywhere easily and quickly. It was, honestly, perfect for what we wanted our trip to be. We hit all the main tourist sites but also sat in the cafes right downstairs for hours and ate and people watched and strolled to all the local things to see and do. We were there mid July and it was hot, hot, hot, so sundresses and cool clothing are what you need. Claudine's place had a floor fan and quite a nice breeze going through the apartment so sleeping was comfortable even on the hottest days. We can't wait to go back again.

Stay in Madame Claudine’s apt in Montparnasse was very enjoyable. She is a lovely person who greeted us on arrival and made herself very accessible and gave us local suggestions for the neighborhood. Apt is a few steps from the Montparnasse-Bienvenue Metro station and many bus routes. Easy to get anywhere in Paris & easy connection to the airport CDG. The neighborhood is filled with cafes & restaurants. Apartment and the building are old style Paris and it is a walk up. Merci Beaucoup Madame Claudine. Michael & Susan

Life long dream come true
Claudine was amazing and very reachable even when she was out of the country. The room was inviting and extremely comfortable. The noise from the street was unnoticeable when windows closed but not bad when open. The tub was welcoming after many long walks. There are several stairs but you get use to it. There is a washing machine which came in handy and a dry rack. Took little time for clothes to dry. You barely noticed the neighbors. The two restaurant on either side of bld did not become an issue. Access to the metro, buses, and taxis uber etc very close. Theres a little store very near for purchases. I will be back to stay Merci Claudine!

A wonderful Paris spot
This was the perfect spot for a week in Paris for me and my granddaughter. We were able to walk to all sites visited except Montmartre, and the trip by train to Versailles was easily made. The kitchen, equipped with all we needed, and the spacious bathroom were separated by a door which allowed me to get up early without waking her. The apartment situated near the metro, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, and boutiques felt very secure. Our hostess was extremely attentive even while having to be absent from town. The person delegated in her stead was most charming and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location, cute apartment
This was a spacious, well-kept apartment in a central location. Communication throughout the experience with the host and her assistant was timely. Bed was comfortable and kitchen functional, A few minor issues after check-in were quickly resolved (e.g. needed a sheet). Suggestions would be to leave a binder with neighborhood suggestions for market and restaurants, and fix the bidet. Would stay there again!

Wonderful Location!
The location of the apartment was absolutely wonderful. Numerous restaurants and multiple options for buses, the metro and rail within a block or two, which made getting around Paris super easy. Madam Claudine was an absolute gem! She was a gracious host, and so helpful in provided us with useful information on the area and how to get around Paris. The apartment was small and older, but was exactly like the photos and what I would expect a classic Parisian apartment to be. Building security was solid and we had all that we needed. It is on the third floor with no elevator, so be conscious of how much you pack.

Perfect location
It was a classically beautiful Parisian apartment building. The main room of the apartment was lovely, with an amazing view of the Montparnasse. The bed was very comfortable. Claudine was warm, informative and readily available. A few minor issues: * The kitchenette is set very high! I'm about 5'2", and my arms were nearly at shoulder level while cooking and doing dishes. * Some of the dishes were not clean (though they could have been put away dirty by previous guests!). * The main room has area rugs that slid around as they didn't have pads underneath; Claudine said she would remedy this! Overall, it's a great apartment, and you couldn't ask for a better host.

The right combination of location, friendliness, ambiance
Great Location, easy access to Metro, buses, trains, and car rentals. Third floor walkup with embellished cove ceiling, non-working fireplace, a view of Montparness Square, a real feeling of living in Paris in the 20’s. Claudine and Ilhane were helpful, and friendly. Claudine spoke excellent English. It will be home when I get back to Paris.

Claudine made us very welcome and stayed in touch throughout our stay. Small apartment with rudimentary kitchen, but we had all we needed to prepare simple meals. On a busy "place" so traffic noise if the windows were open. Recommend unreservedly!

The host was very responsive and we liked the area a lot. The place is a little “dated”, so that may be part of the charm for you. It was also small from a cooking and eating perspective. If you are just doing light meals, then it will be fine. There is only small work area and a small table with tall chairs to eat at. We ate in living room. The washing machine was fine. The steps were part of our regular exercise routine.

Beautiful home base
We’ll never forget our stay in Montparnasse! There are many great cafes, bakeries, grocery stores and a delicious crepe stand within a few blocks. As others have said, a subway station that will get you just about anywhere is across the street, and there’s more public transit a few blocks further. Rodin and the Army Museum are a short walk. The apartment building itself is gorgeous. There was a heat wave while we were there and Claudine kindly had a fan up and running when we arrived. She was so generous and even helped us get a dinner reservation when we couldn’t get through. Very grateful and eager to return!

Fantastic location with access to 4 metro lines close by. Lovely charming French style apartment. Gives you a lovely feel for the Montparnasse lifestyle. Gorgeous patisserie around the corner, good retail outlets and right next door to a fantastic cafe. Claudine the host was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend staying here if you are seeking an authentic Parisian experience.

Claudine is a super host. Apartment located near buses and train stations but also easy walk to highlights of Paris. Room has double glazed windows so nice and quite. It is on the third floor if you have a problem with stairs as no lift.

This is the place to stay
This was my 3rd visit to Paris, previously having stayed in an apartment and then an hotel in the Latin quarter, but this apartment was by far the best place I have stayed in. The apartment is located in a secure, quiet building and is quite spacious, with everything you could need during your stay. The location is fantastic, could not be beaten! Close to cafes, restaurants, shopping and easy walking distance to many of Paris most famous attractions. However, if you do need to visit somewhere further away, you are literally surrounded by easy options to get you there with a minimum of hassle, with bus, metro and train stops all within a 5 minute walk. The neighbourhood itself feels very safe (something that was very important to me as a solo female traveller) and I had no problems wandering the surrounding streets day or night (which I highly recommend, you never know what you'll find). All of the above would be enough to highly recommend this particular apartment but on top of this there's the charming and thoughtful hostess, Claudine. She took the time to greet me and have a little chat, to see if there was anything she could assist me with. She was flexible regarding check-in/check-out times and very kindly allowed me to leave my bags with her until late on my last day, which made for a far more enjoyable 1st and last day experience. If you want to feel like you are LIVING in Paris and not just visiting, this is the place to stay.
