Best Host in Siculy,Super Location
Excellent location by Teatro Massino and pedestrian streets full of shops/restaurants. Personalized service helping me with train tickets & tour bookings, transport, even driving me to station when my taxi cancelled. Fabulous breakfasts, heat-a/c, spacious room, strong hot water and a B&B host who loves his job and speaks multiple languages.

PRE-PAID BUT ROOMS UNAVAILABLE
Arrived but told rooms unavailable, because we did not answer a message on what time we will be arriving back on 27 Dec - really? No communication received. These were PRE-PAID! Obviously let again and getting DOUBLE MONEY. Offered us a party of 2 couples to share a double room with extra beds - declined offer. We rebooked alternative accommodation and asked owner to sort out a refund. Never had problem before with Hotel.com bookings or owners who want to double there income. Have been using Hotels.com for many years Reward Silver member. REFUND PLEASE MR OWNER! Still waiting...

The entrance downstairs looks dark and unwelcoming but the b & b upstairs is not bad. Nothing special, though. The room was large but the quality of the shampoo/gel etc was poor. There is also never any one at reception.

Excellent location with modern rooms
Great location in the old town however our host was not there when we arrived, luckily there was somewhere close by for lunch. Parking was very difficult and our hist didnt seem particularly concerned to help us. Our rooms were not serviced on the sunday and breakfast was something of a joke. A voucher for a cafe just along the street was provided but all this bought was a croissant and a cup of tea/coffee.

Lovely B&B centrally located in old city
Accommodation recently refurbished to a high standard with ensuite rooms, air conditioning,etc. Breakfast, with vouchers, in excellent local restaurant. Perfect location for tourists to explore old city. Would be happy to stay there again.

Location doesn't mean you can skip on service!
The location is great, but that's about it. I don't know why this place gets 5 out of 5. I would give it 3.5 max. The fact that you are within walking distance to major attractions doesn't mean that you can skip on other things. The sole proprietor, Giovanni, seems to be very nice and genuinely says if you need anything, knock (lives on the property) or call or send a message. WiFi good. BUT: hopefully you won't need anything if you choose to stay. When I was checking out, I sent a message to ask if I could leave my luggage for a little bit. No response. So I just left it and returned later. Still no one to hand in the key, so I just left it and sent another message. Now, the more important things. Cleanliness earns two stars only because the place is still brand new and the toilet was clean. The bathroom floor was dirty with hair all over. You couldn't walk barefoot. There were fruit flies. But no wonder: I stayed for two nights and the second day no one changes sheets or took the trash out. Ok, so maybe it's not too bad if the sheets are unchanged for a day, but the trash, really? I took it out myself because I didn't want more fruit flies and I had a banana peel. The thin bedspread was dirty. It smelled dirty as if it wasnt washed after every guest. The closet had someone else's dirty slippers left over and a pile of bedding stuffed in the corner. Yikes. I didn't appreciate the need to go over to the corner store for breakfast. Posting should specify that. I won't return.

It was a great place to stay, close to everything.
All the things were so good, it´s really clean, it´s in a nice area because you can walk around and be safe, quiet when it´s time to sleep, wifi, we got help from Giovanni to be around the city, excellent price, we leave so happy from the place.
