Loved the setting. Enjoyed the fire ring and the walks near the property. Simple, quiet, very comfortable and clean. Easy drive into Kalamazoo or Plainwell. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Michigan!

Kim & Jeff were very attentive to our needs. They kept us informed as to what was going on & worked with our schedule to make sure snow removal was done for our coming & going. They are very conscientious. The place was clean & well stocked.

We were so pleased with this haven. It's peaceful, comfortable, well-maintained and the hosts were fabulous. Our business was mostly in Plainwell and Otsego, but it's close enough to Kalamazoo if 'nightlife' is important to your visit. Our nightlife dealt with the firepit and the sounds of crickets and toads and gazing at the stars; true relaxation needed during an emotional trip. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the internet and Jeff resolved it quickly. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

This property is gorgeous. It's quiet and serene with all of the makings of a woodland painting! But you're only 20 minutes from any activity you might like! Many vineyards within a quick drive or go a little further and hit the lake. This was our 25th anniversary getaway and believe me, we'll be back.

Nice family and accommodations. Gps and wireless signal was sketchy, but I am not a techy. Friendly dogs. 5- Stars

Being that the apartment was attached to their garage-there was some noise while working on their vehicles on 2 of the evenings, which wasn't pleasant.

We were looking to escape the Texas heat for a few weeks in July, and we got what we hoped for, plus a lot more! Just a couple of miles from the Kal-Haven trail, the opportunities for outdoor exercise, relaxation, and recreation are plentiful. A day trip to Lake Michigan (at South Haven) on the warmest day kept us cool, even when the temperature reached close to 90.
Local blueberry and other produce farms provide the freshest fruit you could imagine.
Close enough to Kalamazoo to enjoy dining and cultural activities, but far enough to be peacefully serene.
Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the apartment was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our extended stay.

Great property, great hosts! Very nice for a couple to get away from the city area but still have access to city amenities.
