Concerning the pre-authorization we did on your card it is not an error which means that it is a temporary hold on a customer’s credit card that typically lasts around 5 days, or until the post-authorization (or “settlement”) comes through. it is a common practice in certain hotels in France and certain foreign banks could charge a fee when we do a pre-authorization. Banks in France does not charge for this. Hoping that these few words helped clarifying this misunderstanding, we will be delighted to welcome you on your next trip thru our city.
