We stay in this hotel every time we come to Oneonta. It had been looking run down the last few years, but they have updated with new tvs, beds, etc... and it is now comfortable and clean! :)
Nice place to stay when away from home. Staff friendly, rooms clean. Could use a little bit larger tv, or have the tv mounted on wall, so that it is a little easier to watch. Pool was nice extra.
We enjoyed our stay at the Inn on St. Ann very much. This is a converted historic home, so we were not expecting the modern convenience of a standalone hotel. Even so, the rooms have been tastefully updated with modern bathrooms, linens, high-quality toiletries, etc. Each room is different, and there is no elevator, so if you have a special request like a ground-floor room or courtyard access, be sure to book early and call ahead to ensure they can meet your needs for accommodation. The staff will bend over backward to ensure you have a comfortable stay! The location cannot be beat. Close to everything but far enough to sleep through the night.

nice little hotel
This hotel is easy to find and is situated in the middle of town. It is a small but clean place to stay. The room was large with a nice t.v.The bathroom door hung up on the floor a bit and I would have liked having a thicker quality towel. Microwave and fridge is a plus.
We had reservation and would have thought the air would have been on before arrival. The room was so hot and stuffy, we had to leave for an hour and a half before we could stay in it. The curtain rod was falling so the curtain covered the air conditioner. The curtains were stained and nasty and the carpet looked like it had not been vaccumed in months. The grounds and the pool area looked nice and clean. It was not worth the amount I paid for this room!

Good stay
We were there about 7 hours total. Room was clean for the most part. Towels are horrible! Beds were comfortable.
Our stay was'nt bad at all...little things annoyed me.. we wanted a joined room because we were traveling with kids. I called them a week before our stay to see if one was available.. I was told no and they don't even have a joined room. So when we went to check in I asked the lady if they had a cancelation if I could be notified.. she looked on her computer and luckly she had a JOINING room. Since we traveled with kids and the hotel room walls are like paper literaly..we had a noise complaint because another room could hear the kids giggling. The next day we went into the lobby for our breakfast (which is very nice) the front desk lady stopped my husband and tried to convince him we woud be more comfortable in seperate rooms and she thought joining rooms was too much for the kids. I could not believe it..if I did'nt hear it with my own ears I would'nt have'nt believed it. So to all you traveling with kids keep this in mind!!!!!

Would stay again...
We have stayed at the Days Inn and the Covered Bridge Inn in Oneonta. When the price is right we prefer the Days Inn because the a/c will run at night for noise purposes. The only problem we had was that my parents room smelled like moth balls, but both other rooms we stayed in during this stay were fine.
I had a late check-in, and when I got into my room oneof the first thingsI noticed was the dilapidated condition of it. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, beat-up furniture, etc. There was no remote control for the tv, and it took two tries for them to get me one that worked. There was no clock radio, and no in room coffee. I will stay in Birmingham next time and make the drive back and forth.
My daughter and I were in Oneonta for a wedding and stayed at this Days Inn. The front desk staff was always helpful. The batteries were dead in our tv remote and they were quick to fix. Room was extremely clean and the bed super comfortable. The onyl issue with our stay was not the hotel, but the guests above us. They were extremely loud and were jumping on the beds, I suspect. Ah, well. The price paid for the convenience of a ground floor room. Location is close to many restaurants. I particularly liked having a refridgerator and microwave. Will definately stay again.
The hotel room and lobby area were clean and neat. You could tell the hotel was in a transition period, but the staff I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast that was included had a nice variety of selections. This was one of a very few hotels in the area and so there was not much of a selection. I was there for a family wedding and most of the family from out of town stayed there because it was the closest to the wedding location. The pool looked very clean and well mantained. Other family members took advantage of it. I'm not fond of the water. If I needed to go back to the area I would use the hotel again.
not at all what i reveiwed on line or was told by the person on the phone i reserved a single king with garden tub and smoking room and it was suppose to have a pool i got a double none smoking room with old food in refridgerator and the pool was with out water i ask for a discount and was told i was not garanted nothing worse stay ever want happen again !!!! oh yeah and the free breakfest was a joke !!
