Fabulous dinner
Lovely hotel not far from the Rhine. Staff were very friendly & spoke English well. The public rooms are lovely & lovely terraces to sit out on & enjoy a drink. Dinner was absolutely fabulous, they are obviously have a fantastic chef & team. Room was a bit disappointing, small but fairly functional but nowhere to do hair & makeup & layout any toiletries. Manageable for 1 night but will book a bigger room next time

Hidden gem for wine lovers and others alike!
We felt like we found a hidden gem when we selected this hotel in an impromptu fashion during our loosely planned trip up the Rhine valley... Our room was tiny but beautifully done, with floor-to-ceiling windows toward the vineyards. Dinner in the onsite dining room was delicious, as was breakfast which was included in the price. Ironically, we are not wine drinkers but if you are, this place is most definitely for you!

The hotel owners were genuinely concerned about our satisfaction. Even help us resolve automobile issues after a long day on the road. Our suite was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. Thanks so much for making our stay in the rhein one we won't forget.

Very nice hotel with a nice restaurant, I only wish that we'd arrived early enough to fully enjoy the suite. Also very helpful with getting milk for our little ones, including leaving extra for us for during the night.

not recommend to stay here at all
No A/C, super hot and stuffy, we can't even open the window since bugs is none stop flying in, we killed over 10 bugs when we go into the room since they left the window open. We have to go to reception to get a tiny fans that you can only feel the breeze within 1 feet. The water in shower keep changing hot to cold, cold to hot, the lights in the bathroom keep turning on and off itself too. Location is deep deep in the town. People not stay at the hotel will go there to have dinner, so limited parking for the hotel guest that stay there.

Lovely hotel nestled in the Rhine Valley
Overall a wonderful place! The hotelier was very understanding because of my late arrival. They had placed my hotel key in an envelope on the registration desk for me even thought the check-in desk was closed. The room isn't huge but is comfortable and very clean; same for the bathroom. The location is at the edge of a small town and very secluded so very quiet for light sleepers. Breakfast was great and the small touch of putting my name on a plate to note which table was mine was particularly nice (see picture).

It is no where close to being a "Schlößchen"
"Schlößchen" translates as 'little castle' or 'Chateau' and this place does not come close to that in any way, shape, or form. There are more than enough real castles and chateaus that have wonderful views of the Rheine, while this place is stuck up a little valley going away from the Rheine..

Quiet hotel near the Rhein and wineries
Great location with easy access to Rhein, but is also very quiet since it is not directly along the river or railway. Restaurant is closed on Mondays but the hotel was able to recommend a nearby restaurant that was within walking distance. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great.

In my opinion the hotel is a little overpriced and the rooms would benefit from some refurbishment as they were very tired. We stayed on the 3rd of 5 floors. The 4th floor was indicated as private and we experienced a lot of noise from the floor above morning and night. Staff though, in general were pleasant and helpful.

Family stay on the Rhine
This place was beautiful and peaceful. The restaurant had great food and drinks with nice welcoming owners. They were very accommodating to our family and would recommend a stay here for sure!

Not Recommended
This is by no means a "service oriented" hotel. To start out, with apparently only 3 other rooms occupied, we got stuck in a tiny, viewless room on the top floor that was well over 90 degrees F. When we asked for a fan, we were told to open the window. First, that did nothing to cool the room, however it did let in an army of bugs. We asked to borrow an umbrella when we had to go out in the rain, and they acted as if they had never heard of such an unusual request. They advertise that they can offer help with tourism, but when we asked about boat rides on the Rhine they were unable to do anything but give us some standard pamphlets. Note that the hotel is somewhat isolated and you are not near the Rhein or any other restaurants. Breakfast was good, but this is about the only thing I can recommend regarding this hotel.

Dear guest, thank you for your detailed review. Our economy rooms are all on the upper floor with a view of the vineyard. The day was very hot. But we did not say you should simply open the window, but it will cool down at night and then you can open the window. This was obviously a misunderstanding. Also with the umbrella we thought about where we find one. Sorry that you were not satisfied with us. I wish you all the best

Hotel was great. Complementary bikes were great to explore the town. Hotel restaurants very pricey. We walked into town for a great meal. Great place to stay as near Karlsruhe is short drive and Stuggurt is hour plus drive. Both areas we wanted to visit.

Convenient and clean hote.
Close to Bacharah, which has a livelier downtown. The hotel is pretty, with a large wrap around deck that is scenic and great for a drink. Staff was very accommodating at getting us a roll-out bed and floor fan.

Das Weinberg Schlößchen ist nicht nur eine Unterkunft: hier stimmt alles. Von der herzlichen Begrüßung über den angenehmen Service bis zu dem sauberen Ziimmer. Ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Küche. Alles perfekt und stimmig. Man spürt die Professionalität.

Wir hatte ein schönes Zimmer im Gästehaus. Leider war direkt unterhalb unseres Balkons der Müllraum. Bei jedem Öffnen des Raumes zog sehr unangenehmer Geruch auf unseren Balkon und ins Zimmer. Lüften über Tag war daher nicht möglich. Das Duschwasser wechselte schlagartig zwischen heiß und kalt - unabhängig von der Reglereinstellung.

Mukava hotelli viihtyisässä pikkukylässä
Viihtyisä pieni hotelli kauniissa ympäristössä. Huone oli melko pieni, mutta siinä oli parveke ja kokonaisuudessaan hotelli oli hyvin siisti. Huoneen oven äänieristyksessä on hieman parantamisen varaa, mutta se ei meidän yöuniamme häirinnyt, koska hotelli oli niin rauhallinen. Hotellin ravintola oli tasoltaan erinomainen, paras meidän tällä seudulla kokeilemistamme.
