An upscale hotel at the end of the main street of Nyaungshwe.
Staff is pleasant and speaks relatively good English compared to other locations.
The rooms are fine and definitely a level above what you'll find in normal range hotels. However, slightly underwhelming given the price.
Beware that the little lake the houses sit on is just a very small separate lake that is not connected to Inle Lake or any waterways, it's purely "for effect" (which is fine, but if you're looking for the boat experience it won't be there).
Internet connection was very choppy and could not be relied upon.
Boat trips to Inle Lake start from the canal right outside the hotel, so no need for any cumbersome bus transfers.
Breakfast is fine quality. However, local food would be appreciated. Myanmar does not have the cheese/ham to justify white bread, so the generous bread basket falls a bit flat.
All in all, good hotel, but slightly overpriced.
