I cannot explain enough what an AMAZING experience it was to stay here! The hotel is beautiful and the manager was beyond any expectations!! They prepared a delicious breakfast for us (even when it was not included), took care of every detail to make our stay memorable! Thanks Viewpoint Hotel for making our stay in Inle Lake so special!

Fantastic room nearly Inle Lake!
Excellent hotel in Nyuangshwe near Inle Lake. We arrived on the night bus from Yangon at 5am, and they gave us some food and sat us beside the fire before the check in staff arrived at 6am and let us check in to our room at that time which was great! The room was a lovely separate bungalow type room with an outdoor deck on the water. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Myanmar the morning of our stay. The staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly the whole stay! And they kept our bags all day while we were out on the lake after we checked out. Would highly recommmend!

Extremely helpful and non-intrusive service- especially when we were stranded at the hot springs (couldn’t cycle back due to injury)- they were great at organising a prompt taxi. Drinks were also very good (and strong!)

Beautiful traditional styled design - lots of smooth dark wood and raised walkways above the small lilly filled lake that the hotel bedrooms sit above in low stilts . If you like ducks you are in for a treat with with gentle or occasionally slightly rowdy quacking always nearby. Staff friendly, humorous and always helpful.

Nice, clean hotel!
Really nice hotel with amazing service. We were upgraded to a bigger room. The room itself was clean and spacious. The location is walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go.

Fantastic
This was truly an eco lodge in an area of huge environmental sensitivity. Also many thoughtful touches, glass of fresh fruit juice on arrival, delicious and plentiful breakfast. The lobby is FULL of fresh flowers, much of the produce in the restaurant is grown in their own garden, lovely local soaps. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Piscine floatante a gem.

Large comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. An oasis of tranquility. Good location for long boat dock and restaurants are just a few blocks away. The town is noisy, dusty and dirty but the hotel is amazing.

Staff very nice
I come from hong Kong and try some hotel. But this lodge provide excellent service which out of your expectation . The staff ar very nice and the breakfast are pentiful. It’s great to ask room service for breakfast if your room is at the lake view and you can feed the ducks and fish. The can also offer boat trip which similar price to the outside. This logdge I give full mark which I seldom give to others

What a welcome!
Any hotel that welcomes a weary traveler with a pint of beer at check in is already on the right track to making your stay welcoming! First impressions count. The room itself is lovely and divided into two sections with a lovely veranda over the pond to enjoy a sundowner. The location is excellent being close to the town and restaurants as well as being close to where the boats leave for the lake.

It is indeed a paradise. Duck swimming around the a small lake outside the room balcony first thing you see when you wake up. Breakfast are good with lots of choices to satisfy your appetite. Staff are super friendly and helpful particularly Mr Kyi who serve breakfast every morning.

We spent three nights and the highlights of Service include ING early check ina Dan late check out. As for the reason I did not give the highest mark for service is due to timeliness. Our room was often not made up until late in the day and we often had to flag someone down at breakfast for coffee refills. That said, the room (or suite in our case) was large and comfortable and the location is ideal!

“Better location than on the lake”
Stayed only for a night cos they were fully booked : ( View Point EcoLodge is truly a gem! It is located in the little town of NuangShwe just over the bridge on a canal, travellers' restaurants within walking distance, so you are not stuck eating there if you don't want to : ) but the hotel have best restaurant with fantastic menus especially vegetarian is Super , I was super impressed by the presentation of the breakfast !and the view from the outdoor sitting area over look the river and town. Will surely stay with them for my next visit!

Had a great time in our 2 nights at Viewpoint - very friendly staff who all spoke excellent English, absolutely amazing breakfast (tasty and filling), and beautifully-finished room with balcony space where you can watch the ducks go by! Would highly recommend

Great hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in the deluxe room. The rooms were very big and comfortable with nice balcony to seat and relax. We were concerned about the noises because of the boats but it was totally quite and peaceful. Breakfast was great. The staff were very polite and willing to help. Great hotel - we would like to return

Beautifully appointed hotel with cabins on stilts.
We had a lovely experience at the View Point Hotel. We were warmly greeted and offered complimentary beverages. As we arrived early, we were unable to check-in, but our luggage was taken care of while we headed out on Inle Lake. Upone return, we were thrilled with our room and it's view over the water and fields beyond. We visited the spa onsite and had a great couples massage. Afterwards, our dinner in the hotel was one of our best meals in Myanmar. The food was delicious with wonderful presentation and nice staff. The same goes for breakfast the following day. Hands-down our favourite hotel in Myanmar. We would absolutely recommend it and should we return one day, we will be staying here!

Cousins go to Inle
From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and offered great hospitality. Although our room was not ready when we arrived we were kept informed of when it would be. The food was amazing and it was good to see what Burmese food is like and how we should eat it. Rooms were clean and the fruit basket was lovely. The Shan chest which acts as an icebox was a nice little touch.

Romantic Hotel in Inle Lake
Very nice and romantic settings. Bungalows face the lake and it's really beautiful to enjoy the view by our balcony. Room and bathroom were very clean, comfortable, fine linen, cable, dvd player, nice decor. Complementary water and fruit basket every day. Wi-fi is only by the bar / reception area.

Great stay, but bring your bug spray!
I stayed three days and two nights at ViewPoint. Our room was in great condition, and I particularly enjoyed the view from the balcony/porch. The food at the restaurant is great; we also had a sampling of Myanmar wine. One small downside of the bungalow-style rooms that are separate from the lobby and restaurant is that the wifi signal only reaches to the lobby and not the room. It was easy to keep in touch from the lobby, but the lobby is open air so bring bug spray accordingly! The mosquitos in the lobby were the only downside of our stay, and to be expected in the climate and probably unavoidable no matter where you stay. The town is small, and it's easy to walk anywhere within 15 minutes so the location at the edge of town is no problem. I would definitely book again.

Myanmar Charm with a little European Flair
We spent two nights in early September and was upgraded immediately on check in as the air conditioning was not working. The GM took a personal interest in our welfare, staff were friendly attentive and helpful. The meals were creative...an exciting blend of Myanmar cuisine presented with European flair. We really appreciated the breakfast and the variety of breads and pastries which come from the kitchen. Our only gripe was the internet service which was spotty and mostly accessible from the reception lounge. The lodge is ideally located on the canal with magnificent views of the golden pagoda at sunset and within walking distance of several restaurants.

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very good but the room wasn't so much clean, the wi-fi never worked in three days and there wasn't hot water in two days. So expensive for the service that gave me. The breakfast was excellent.

Good hotel, slightly overpriced
An upscale hotel at the end of the main street of Nyaungshwe. Staff is pleasant and speaks relatively good English compared to other locations. The rooms are fine and definitely a level above what you'll find in normal range hotels. However, slightly underwhelming given the price. Beware that the little lake the houses sit on is just a very small separate lake that is not connected to Inle Lake or any waterways, it's purely "for effect" (which is fine, but if you're looking for the boat experience it won't be there). Internet connection was very choppy and could not be relied upon. Boat trips to Inle Lake start from the canal right outside the hotel, so no need for any cumbersome bus transfers. Breakfast is fine quality. However, local food would be appreciated. Myanmar does not have the cheese/ham to justify white bread, so the generous bread basket falls a bit flat. All in all, good hotel, but slightly overpriced.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft. Die Lage war sehr praktisch, die Zimmer sehr angenehm eingerichtet, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight. Gerne wieder!
