The parking situation for this hotel should be better described in their information! We had to drive around block after block to get there then their 2! valet spots were full so we had to drive around more blocks to get to another hotel’s valet! NOT a good way to start our trip. Then we chose this location because it was not on Bourbon - well when the concert level music started outside our window at 11:30p and went till 2a we should have just stayed on Bourbon! The room itself was spacious and clean but everything else was unacceptable!

It was a nice quaint hotel. The staff could have done better. I was supposed to be given a bottle of wine each day I stayed I only received 1 bottle. There was a huge water bug in my bathroom the staff asked me what did I want them to do about it? Get it out my room for starters. Around 7 am they were doing construction on the room next door the banging was unbearable.

Las fotografías del hotel muestran un hotel que no existe. Todo el mobiliario es viejo, mi cuarto no tenía donde colgar ropa. Solo sábanas en la cama, no edredón. No tenían servicio de café. Preguntamos y nos mandaron afuera del hotel. El patio interior nada que ver con las fotografías. No es un hotel de 4 estrellas por nada Le pregunté a la recepcionista y me dijo que eran un hotel de 3 estrellas.

I liked the new Orleans feel about the hotel. Close to everything. Only complaint was heat wasn't working when the temperature dropped but they moved us to another room which resolved the issue

INCREDIBLE STAFF. Every staff member was helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location of you are looking to stay in the quarter. It has a very old French quarter feel to the whole place. There is a courtyard in the center of the hotel with a beautiful fountain. When booking, if you want a more quiet, cozy stay request a room with a courtyard view. We were on the second floor; our door opened up to overlook the courtyard and we could hear the fountain. It was quiet and lovely. If you want more views of the quarter and more excitement, request one of the rooms on the higher floor.

Hotel Mazarin is a lovely small hotel in the thick of the French Quarter. It was a great location from which to navigate all of the restaurants, bars, shopping and music nearby. The staff are very helpful and polite.

It is a charming building, with updated amenities, large, clean, comfortable rooms. Attentive, personable and very helpful staff. The courtyard is a little oasis amidst the hustle of the Frenc Quarter. The hotel has a break room and a small wine bar. Highly recommend. One caveat it is is the heart of the French Quarter so it’s a lively area.

Lovely, excellent staff! The second room we were in was much nicer. Space is good! **The seat in the shower needs to be replaced or repaired before someone gets hurt! The tarp over the Atrium is ugly and the first thing we saw when we left our room on the 3rd floor. There has to be an alternative.

Easy access to everything in French Quarter. Loved the wine bar to relax b4 & after dinner & 21st Amendnent for live music. Both small places to have a drink & relax from the hustke & bustle of Bourbon Street.

We loved the location of the hotel. Staff were very nice and the free drink tickets to their bars was a nice treat. we would definitely stay here again if back in New Orleans. We will be recommending the hotel to family and friends.

Very unique and beautiful hotel. We spent our honeymoon here and it was perfect! We loved the bar attached and it was so close and walkable to bourbon street. Great staff too and very friendly! Would stay again!

Front desk staff was helpful but spread thin. The bar closes early every night; even when they are full they kick people out to close early which is strange. Outlet in the bathroom didn’t work but the room was clean and the elevator was functional.

The staff worked to ensure we were happy with our stay. When I arrived, I requested not to be placed in specific locations. Will made a special effort, including personally walking up and checking the readiness of the room, to ensure I was happy with my location. The security in the building helped assure my daughters and my safety when a person from Bourbon Street had gotten a bit too intoxicated. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the location (perfectly in the middle of the French Quarter) was quiet. We could walk to all the sites we had on our agenda. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Right in the heart of the qtr, walkable to everywhere. Wine bar right off the courtyard. Breakfast as well, but there are better options nearby if you are willing to wait for a table.

The staff was very accommodating and even let us check in early! It’s a quick walk around the French quarter and great if you’re on foot. The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am which really killed us, but other than that, it was a great place!

Old New Orleans charm with a center courtyard. Perfect location for walking the French Quarter. Half a block from Bourbon street but even though our room was on the street it wasn’t noisy. Never had any issues so didn’t interact with the staff. Not fancy but just right for our visit. We had a great time.

I would have given the hotel a 5 star rating, but I was disappointed with the actual room choice they gave us. The property is clean and nice. They have an attached bar, 21st Amendment that was really great! However, it was not explained to us that the noise coming from Bourbon Street would be excessive at all times of the night. They had rooms that were away from Bourbon Street and probably would have been just fine with little to no noise, but they booked us in a room right on the street. If looked nice at first when we opened the doors to the balcony. The weather was great and we were impressed. The problems started at 2am when the garbage trucks showed up. And, we were only staying for 1 night, so it wasn't like we were going to change rooms in the middle of the night. There were plenty of empty rooms far away from the street. I am just disappointed that they didn't go over this with us and make sure we knew there would be a LOT of noise throughout the night. Primarily from garbage trucks picking up glass bottles and such at 2,3,4,5 am. It was rough. We know much better for our next NOLA visit.

My room was quite large and had a large bathroom too. The hotel has a boutique feel to it. But the room was dark. I had requested a room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard and I got exactly what I had requested, although I did not realize how dark it would be. I'm a person who loves brightness and sun, and this did not sit well with me. The front desk staff for the most part was wonderful. Debbie Ann was especially cheerful and accommodating all day, and Stacy helped me to get the room I requested. I did not get his name, but the man working in the dining room for breakfast was amazing. We ate there twice and he remembered our particular tastes and orders Others on the front desk staff did their jobs however were not particularly pleasant and their stress showed in their demeanors. I would have liked to see Debbie Ann every day! I would definitely go back to this hotel again.
