Satellite Internet provides FREE high speed, unlimited connection to the rest of the world while providing entertainment via large Samsung televisions w/ FREE Netflix, Amazon and AppleTV. Or curl up on the large sectional sofa with a bowl of popcorn and binge watch a favorite AppleTV Series or Netflix movie. The propane-fueled fireplace adds heat and coziness on a cool evening. This is YOUR time so do whatever you want!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Could the outdoor spa be the perfect place to enjoy a starlit night showered under the Northern Lights? Well, yes! The spa is located just out the front door on the front deck overlooking Lake Superior. Or perhaps you prefer to wrap up in a woolen blanket next to the propane-fueled fire table on a cool, summer evening or crisp autumn night? The meandering path leads to the outdoor wood-burning fire pit and lower deck, which literally hangs over Lake Superior and provides the most INCREDIBLE panoramic views. Comfy Getaway!
This is an incredibly clean, comfortable and relaxing place to stay right on Lake Superior. The amenities are wonderful: a hot tub on the deck for watching the sun rise in the morning, a patio over the water, bonfire pit and sunny places to sit (especially in warmer weather!). Perfect for unwinding!

Beautful view
The view was amazing! The porch was good. The hot tub was nice, but a little low on water. The speed at getting hot tap water was GREAT! Since there was no dishwater, my hubby (the dish washer) was a little disappointed in the size of the dish rack. Although there’s two acres, there’s still moderately close neighboring houses easily seen in winter. The owner was very responsive which we appreciated.

Beautiful
The cottage was a beautiful getaway that I highly recommend. It is very quiet, no city or traffic noise at all so you can relax and hear nothing but the water of Lake Superior. Cottage is very clean, bright and has every last detail to make your stay cozy. From decor and automatic evening lighting both inside and out, to crisp towels and soft bedding. Everything is there to make you feel cozy and at home.

Restorative
My husband, brother and I savored our week's stay. The cottage was immaculate, the kitchen provided all we needed for preparing our meals. And the views of Lake Superior were spectacular. With the bedroom window open a bit and the sound of the waves I slept like a baby. We enjoyed the multilevel decks, especially the one that reached out over the water. Such a good space for reading and restoring. Although we didn't fish - we purchased local ly caught fish at a fish market in Thunder Bay. We enjoyed some lovely hikes and sites in the area including Kakabeka Falls and Trail, the Fort Williams Historical Park, hiked parts of the James Duncan Nature Trail, and explored Prince Arthur Marina. The owner was very attentive to our communications. We have spent considerable time staying near Gran Marais on the U. S. side - my wish to go "further up" to avoid tourists and to experience a more wilderness feeling was abundantly fulfilled. Definitely a place to return to.

This is a really lovely area about 20 minutes from the principal road (61). Quiet and serene on the lake. Very clean and straightforward to get to. Perfect for contemplating nature. Beds were comfy and water was extra hot! Plenty of places to lounge and relax and looking forward to going back.
