Great little park! We were there early on a chilly day so we had the park pretty much to ourselves for a few hours. Make sure you stop at the visitors center to get directions to House on Fire (not in the park but 100% worth the visit!).
We hadn't planned on stopping here, but boy are we glad that we did. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and so much less crowded than the nearby national parks we visited.
After labor day is recommended, avoid weekends.
Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Valley of the Gods during your travels in Mexican Hat. While you're in the area, wander around the parks.
Rich with history, Edge of the Cedars State Park is a cultural attraction worth visiting in Blanding. Amble around this quaint area's gardens, or seek out the hiking trails.
Explore the great outdoors at Mexican Hat Rock, a lovely green space in Mexican Hat.
Explore the waterfront in Hite with a trip to Hite Marina. Make some time to visit the monuments while you're in the area.
Walk around the campus at Utah State University Eastern-Blanding Campus during your stay in Blanding. Amble around this quaint area's gardens, or seek out the hiking trails.
Though Blue Mountain Hospital might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Blanding while you are here.
