I will never book a room there ever again i booked for Friday and Saturday got there and they had booked someone else on Saturday night the power plugs in the room are screwed up and the couch is broke down

Not the cleanest and doesn’t smell great, some outlets and lights in the room didn’t work also shower pressure was super hard and wires hanging out of the ceiling right above where the water comes out … made it work for the weekend but wouldn’t pay too much not worth it

As a motel it has the convenience element but at the cost of a reasonable hotel. The bed was clean, surrounding area was also clean. No noisy neighbours and I had a go in the cold pool. If the price was lower than what I paid at $90 I would have rated higher.

Property needs a facelift. Lots of peeling paint and cracked sidewalks, but they seemed to be working on improvements so some things - mostly in the bathroom - were in good condition. Good water pressure, clean bedding, and other than the floor having not been swept so it was a little gritty, it seemed ok. Fine for a quick 2 night stay.

The room was quite dirty and not in good condition. One of the lamps didn't work, the bathroom door didn't lock, and the room overall was not in good condition. It also smelt very strongly of cigarettes (despite being a non-smoking room). Despite the listing mentioning a pool and hot tub, the pool was not open and the hot tub cost $150 to reserve for the day - this felt quite misleading. The laundry facilities also cost a few dollars to use. The staff were not particularly friendly but were helpful enough. This is a cheap motel with cheap facilities, but at least there were no bugs in the room.

Also most hotels open their outdoor Pool around April End or Beginning of May.The laundry is not free and we have it for convenience for guests,We have 1 room with Jacuzzi hot tub and we don't have hot tub in our poolHopefully we will serve you better on your next visitThanks and Regards

Blinds were ineffective, with lights on outside all night it was hard to sleep. Several hairs found in bed and was uncomfortable. Door frames falling apart, building materials outside the room, so couldn’t park outside. Breakfast supposedly included, but when we checked in nothing was mentioned. Homeless just wondering free around complex digging in trash bins, didn’t feel very safe.

I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.First of all we dont have any homeless wandering in the property.We monitor continously and if we see any suspicious person we remove them from property,We are in a process of remodelling so there is some material in parking lot and we are sorry for that. We dont include breakfast.If you had any issues with room we would have changed it for you but we received no complain from you during your stay

The room was very small and dirty. We found hairs on the alleged "clean" towels and stains on the shower curtain. We were hoping for historic and rustic, but my wife literally cried when we got to the room.

I bought a double non-smoking room months in advance. I got a filthy king smoking room for 3 people. No bugs but stained paint, cigarette burnt everything, cold water and a tub that doesn't drain. OMG run run run away.

Reserved a 2-bed room. Arrived and was told that they didn't have one. We ended up cramming our family of 4 into one king size bed. The room was listed as non-smoking but definitely smelled like it has been smoked in. Room was cold, bed was hard. Absolutely nothing of comfort has been added. Everything about the place is so shabby that it feels unsafe. They claimed they tried to call my mobile about not having the room, but I had my phone the entire time and there were no missed calls.

Only reason they got two four stars for property and area was because there were pallets of shingles everywhere so they can redo the roof other than that had no issues. Comfortable bed just needed more pillows, shower was hot all in all had a great stay.

Staff where friendly, but the room was by far the dirtiest I have ever been in. 2" gap under the door that went outside, Heater was broken, shower was full of hair and clearly not cleaned. Well it wasn't the property that I had a problem yet it was the room that I had checked into my reservations for spent $74 for the room the bathtub looked like that he had never been cleaned and months soap scum was about an inch thick in the bottom of the bathtub I took pictures of it showed the people at the office but yet they didn't try to offer me any money back didn't cut off me a room for another night couldn't take a shower there was no towels in the room there was no ice bucket no cups no ice bag and there was you soap still in the shower area the shower walls look like they did have been somebody threw mud on it that's how dark it was where it hadn't been cleaned in a long time I was very dissatisfied with the Drake hotel and yet they did nothing about the problem

Very Disappointing
I feel bad posting this but I feel compelled. The staff member that worked there the day I checked in was very kind and helpful. With that being said, the condition of this historic motel is shameful. I think an investor needs to come in and take over and restore it. It was just not well kept. Not taken care of. Room smelled like mold, lamp shade was broken, everything looked worn and old. Considering this motel is from the 1950’s and has had movie stars from the past stay there, music videos filmed there, etc., it should be treated with respect and preserved. It was also in a sketchy side of town. Being from another state, I only had online photos and descriptions to reference, so when I got there I was so disappointed to see it in such poor condition, and I didn’t feel safe there, either. I literally asked for a refund about 10 minutes after arriving. I couldn’t stay there. I left and stayed at another hotel. Again, the gentlemen working there was attentive, apologetic, and kind. I hope they can fix this piece of history in Nashville, Tennessee.

I arrived for check in and noticed it is in a sketchy area. People walking around outside through the motel area back and forth. Also, we got our key cards and went to our room to get in and it would not open. The door started just constantly beeping obnoxiously. I called the front desk and eventually the lady came down there and said she couldn’t get it to work. She told us to just stay in that room EVEN THOUGH there was a blaring beeping noise from the door. We also would not be able to unlock it without her key to it. We said no, that we did not spend money to go through all this hassle. We ended up canceling after all of it was said and done because they wanted us to pay the same price for a lesser room, which makes absolutely no sense. We cancelled and STILL GOT CHARGED FOR A NIGHT WHEN WE DIDN’T STAY. We went to Best Western down the street and had a much better experience and the staff was super nice and helpful there.
