Charming Vendée gîte - L'Eglantine Heated pool in season!

In South Vendée, property composed of two independent character cottages. comfort and modernity in a traditional stone building. The gite of great comfort on the ground floor for 6 people. The house has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. A large living room with fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room. Outside two terraces, heated swimming pool shared with the other gîte with sunbathing. For everyone, two common leisure and relaxation areas: table football, billiards, table tennis, pinball machine, 14 bikes available. pétanque and swing games for children.
We are located 25 minutes from the Poitevin marshes and the Vendée beaches, the Puy du Fou and La Rochelle are 40 minutes away.

Nalliers Stay
The pool was excellent and we were lucky with the weather. The house was very spacious with an excellently equipped kitchen however the pillows were uncomfortable and very lumpy. Broken ceramic door handles on the bathroom door were dangerous and need immediate replacement. With minimal local amenities a car was a necessity. Loud barking dogs late at night & first thing in the morning made sleeping difficult. Although advertised on the website no English speaking persons were available for help.

Enjoyed a week at this property. Friendly welcome to a very clean and spacious accomodation with plenty of outside space. Swimming pool is well kept and table tennis, and pool table a bonus with 3 kids, as was 2 bathrooms. Well equiped kitchen too. Slightly disappointed with 5 pm check in ( but leave by 10 am) and having to make up our own beds. Not much in the village of Nalliers but plenty to do if you're prepared to drive an hour. Overall I'd definitely recommend..

Charming, spacious holiday home. Ideal for families.
We had a lovely week's stay and could not have asked for a better equipped house. The pool and covered terrace were perfect during the hot weather and our teenagers enjoyed playing pool or table tennis whenever they wanted. We did not use the bikes but there was a large selection to suit all ages. The house itself was immaculate and very comfortable with lovely small terraces for sitting out. Due to the very hot weather we did not venture out as much as planned but had a fantastic day at Puy de Fou which was easy to get to and, despite the crowds, lives up to its reviews. Nalliers itself is a small if sprawling village and very quiet. It is easy to get to the larger supermarkets, nearby town but we did feel reliant on our car and this was the only negative issue for us. Celine was a very helpful host and always quick to reply to any questions.

Great place to stay for a small group
We only had one night but would have loved to stay longer. It had everything we wanted and we especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the ping pong and pool tables.

Une jolie maison mais la propreté laisse à désirer
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une maison cosy et agréable. La salle de jeu est super et la piscine très sympa. Cependant il est utile de précisé que le barbecue était dans un état lamentable car non nettoyé (la grille complétement sale et le barbecue encore plein de charbon), le tapis du salon était très sale (noir par endroit avec un enfant en bas âge ce n'est pas le top), des miettes dans les poêles ou encore des taches dans le four en revanche les chambres et pièces d'eau étaient très propres. Le flipper était également inutilisable.

Un gîte tout confort entre marais et Côte
Un gîte soigné et bien situé ou il fait bon se détendre, à moins de 30 minutes des canaux du Marais Poitevin à 45 minutes de la côte et du Puy du fou, moins d'une heure des îles d'Oléron, de Ré et des Sables-d'Olonne et à 1h15 du Futuroscope. Que demande le peuple?

Belle prestation du gîte
Un gîte très agréable, avec accès piscine à partir du gîte. Avons apprécié la vaste salle de vie suite à une météo capricieuse. Le doublage des salles eau/bain, et wc, à également été très appréciable. Nous conservons l adresse de ce gîte pour un futur séjour.

A perfect holiday home. Highly Recommended.
The house, garden and swimming pool were well maintained. The house was well equipped, a real home from home. We really enjoyed the games room and even had a lovely swim in the pool in spite of tempest Miguel. Plenty of comfortable seating inside the house and outside in the pretty garden. The beds were really comfortable and the two bathrooms were clean and spacious. The location was perfect for our trips to the Puy du Fou and La Rochelle.

Très belle maison, confortable et bien entretenue. Beaucoup de place et d activités proposées. La piscine, les salles de jeu et les vélos sont un vrai plus. Située dans une rue calme nous avons pu nous reposer autant que nous en avions besoin!
