Palacina is lovely. Staff goes above & beyond to make sure your experience is confortable. Manager Andrea customer service is outstanding, solving an issue I had on my very 1st night with them, She made sure I was happy & confortable. All reception staff is friendly as well as the kitchen. I enjoyed my Breakfast and my lovely last dinner at the property with them. Rooms are peaceful, spacious & well decorated. Location is great too. Indoor pool is lush. Beautiful place to stay in Nairobi. We only had one night here but we wished it was much longer. Great facilities. Lovely team. Beautiful room. Recommended.

Beautiful place. Great rooms. Nice gardens. Wonderful staff and service. The WiFi however was choppy and frequently went out, totally unacceptable for 2023. And the restaurant menu needs more vegan and vegetarians options.

Beautiful tranquil hotel with a lovely garden and wonderful service. The staff are exceptional. And my upgraded room was spacious, super comfortable and clean — loved it. For long stays the menu can get limited, would encourage them to add more vegetarian/vegan items. And the WiFi while fast was spotty — often cutting out.

Drivers were amazing, will take you wherever you want. Special thanks to Felix for taking good care of me while shopping. The indoor pool is beautiful and warm. Best of all is the resident tortoise. She was entertaining. Thanks for a great stay.

Palacina is a delightful luxury boutique hotel! Enter the security gate and you are in a peaceful garden with comfortable seating and dining on the porch. Our suite was enormous and luxurious with a comfortable bed and a balcony with additional seating overlooking the gardens. The food and staff are all wonderful and when I return to Nairobi I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Palacina.

The food, ambiance and service at the restaurant were excellent! My apartment was clean and comfortable. The garden setting was very enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Free laundry facilities were appreciated.

My stay at the Palacina was phenomenal! The staff all went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome! The room was incredibly spacious- with a separate kitchen and sitting room, large closet, peaceful bedroom, and well equipped bathroom! Will definitely return!

Welcoming and special hotel.
An absolutely amazing hotel in Nairobi. Very good service. You are made to feel welcome and special by the staff. There is an amazing garden with a pool and also an indoor lap pool for swimming in. We are there twice and the food was very high quality. Breakfast chef even cooked us an early breakfast on the day of departure.

The staff was amazing! Not one negative encounter! Front desk staff were welcoming and so was kitchen staff, particularly Ms. Lydia and Chef! The omelettes in the morning were tasty. Would like to see more of a variety menu for longer stays or all inclusive option, but otherwise, this hotel was nothing short of a great experience! Hotel was cozy, beds very comfortable. Rooms immaculate and super clean! We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Palicina staff as well as their sister company African Tours Safari for an amazing birthday trip, tour and Safari organization thoughtfulness throughout our trip!

It’s listed as a 5 star resort. However, there was used cups with old tea bags still inside placed in the cupboard, the tv barely worked and when it did only had like 10 channels, no room service past 9pm so nothing to have after a long journey and arriving hungry, I had to request simple things like a blow dryer. The shampoo and soaps had been already half used. There were no robes or anything that made it feel like a “5 star” resort. It’s a decent place but not somewhere I would stay again if looking for a luxury getaway.

I did not enjoy my stay. There is no air condition so the windows where left open. While the place is beautiful I didn’t appreciate the mosquitoes bites all over my body. The food was nasty and not prepared fresher and what I contribute to getting me sick. I would not suggest staying at this hotel.

To be frank, we are surprised to read this review because upon arrival we offered you a complimentary USD 20 food and drinks voucher which you were very pleased with and through out your stay you did not mention any problems at all. In fact at check out when we asked how your stay was, you mentioned that it was very pleasant indeed.We do actually have suites with AC units and also we are able to provide fans.. If the AC was such a priority for you, we wish that you wuld have either booked an AC suite or simply informed us and we would have been happy to place you in one. Also, regarding the food, you had pumpkin samosas plus a salad.. to call this nasty online yet not mentioning any issues to us directly is also quite puzzling.As evident from other responses on this forum, Palacina is renowned for our hospitality, cuisine and indeed our world class accommodation.Thanks again for choosing us and we wish you happy travels ahead.

What a beautiful and tranquil Hotel to stay after long overseas flights. The staff was fantastic, very professional and most accommodating. 2 nights were not long enough
