My room was absolutely beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the room was extremely clean. There was complementary tea and coffee at any hour, and I was very surprised and happy that there was a convenient little bar that I was able to get a glass of wine when I came in from the evening .

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here- room was great, bed very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very close to the train station and walkable to the tourist squares.

This hotel is a gem, loved staying here. The only downside was the parking, there were ramps within the car space it was really scary to try and park, not sure why they need to be there, a safety issue me thinks

Room was very spacious and comfortable, bathroom slightly dated but still very functional. Reception area is not very big but did not pose any issues, appreciated the coffee machine that allowed for me to get a coffee 24/7. Location is great just a short walk from the train station and lots of food options around.

Superb Hotel
Deluxe Double Room - 10/10. Clean. Good size. Quiet. Bathroom - 10/10. Clean. Lovely shower. Bed - 10/10. 2 singles pushed together. Quite comfy. WiFi - 10/10. Very good. Staff - 10/10. From check-in to check-out, all the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast - 11/10! Amazing buffet. Huge variety and all of high quality. The cakes and pastries were superb and did vary from day to day. Hotel - 10/10. In a good location for touring the city (although directly opposite a half built hotel/car park). 5 mins from the main station (leave via the overground station exit at street level). Very pleasant and well run. Their approach to the room linen is to be applauded, as is the free tea/coffee station in the lobby. Would recommend and would use again if we’re ever back in Munich.

Staff was very polite and helped in every way. We slept well and found plenty to eat within walking distance. The breakfast was incredible with tons of options to choose from. This is a family run property and they went out of their way to help us park and find a place to charge our EV.

This hotel is so convenient for getting out and about in Munich. The beds were so comfortable, showers hot and overall very clean throughout. The breakfast was one of the best buffets I have ever had. Staff so accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to everyone without a doubt. Every day we were in Munich it was a little place of heaven to go back to

Fabulous, eco-friendly hotel
The staff were so lovely. We had experienced a horrible train experience and arrived in the evening and their kindness really brightened our day. Fresh flowers, living wall decorations (moss), no plastic to be found in the hotel. Such a nice change! The breakfast was really delicious. Many options and a great coffee machine! The room was large and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and was very quiet. We stayed at many hotels as we toured Europe and my husband and I both considered this one to be the best of our travels.

Great find / exceptional value
This hotel was lovely. Really efficiently laid out room (which made up for the coziness of it), great breakfast, excellent service. I was staying around the corner for 5 nights at an international chain. I needed to extend my trip for a night, but they were full. So, I picked the closest hotel and was totally surprised how wonderful the Metropole is. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Location can’t be beat.

Great hotel close to train station. Our room had a balcony and faced out back of the building and was therefore very quiet. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast selection delicious. Can only recommend it.

Loved this hotel. The rooms are nice and big. The staff is polite and friendly. The A/C is great. The bedding is great. I was a solo traveller but they still gave me multiple pillows and a good comforter. I slept so well at this hotel! They don't do housekeeping everyday, but every couple of days, but you can get new towels and other things whenever you need to. Also, so close to the main station.
