May 2, 2019After being already 2000 ft high in Tucson, its another 7000 ft up to Mt. Lemmon or Summer Haven. There are 7 changes in climates as you ride up and it gets cooler. there was even some left over snow on the summit. The changes in atmosphere can physically affect you. you need water, the air gets lighter as you rise, sometimes causing dizziness and tiredness, but you can deal with it and get over it. there was a restaurant called the Iron _____, where it was nice to have pie alamode. Check it out.
