We had a lovely stay at Xavier's property. Communication with Xavier was great, and Michèle who checked us in was made us feel very welcome. This is a well presented house with lots of space, and the enclosed garden is private and secure. Great location for easy access in and out of town, and just a few minuses walk from a fabulous patisserie too. Thank you Xavier and Michèle

The House is very comfortable and spacious. The Garden is great. Especially when you are with a dog. A Öl Mill is next to the house. A bakery is 50m away and at the end of the village you have a Spar. You can get everywhere (Avignon, Aix, Camargue) can be reached under 60 minutes.

Knowing this area well, my wife and I stayed for 3 weeks in Feb/Mar 23. The property was very acceptable to us, with just a few niggles. The oven had been removed (previous occupant had reported that it broke) and so we had a combi Oven/Microwave for 3 weeks, which was not great. I had hoped a repaired oven could have been fitted during our extended stay, but this was not offered. The picture of an expresso coffee maker turned out to be replaced a small filter coffee maker - a bit of a disappointment. The bathroom fan did not work leading to the bathroom steaming up a lot - difficult to shave. The description had "linen provided" but the host tried to charge us for bed linen, towels (we did bring our own) and table linen - not appreciated. The description of the property made no reference to the end of rental cleaning fee. The sun loungers/bicycles mentioned in pictures and description were not anywhere to be found - I guess it was not summery enough. All of this could be easily rectified, and we did enjoy our time at the property. The garden was very good and safe for our dogs, and having the bakery about 100 yards away was fabulous.

Outre son emplacement ideal en plein milieu du parc regional des Alpilles, ce qui en fait une place pratique pour rayonner. La maison est extrêmement propre, bien équipée, au calme malgre la proximité de la route qui n'est derangeante.Une boulangerie se trouve a 3 min a pied.Pour information, les deux chambres sont a l'étage en mezzanine et la salle de bain et les toilettes au RDC. Le propriétaire tres prevenant prend de vos nouvelles très régulièrement. L'accès aux clés meme tardivement et très simple. Belle location. L'ACCtrrregulieremznrclérRRDC.

Verrassend leuk les Alpilles! Genoten van mooie stadjes, dorpen en natuur. Veel olijfbomen! Prima om wandelingen te maken, fietsen, te klimmen, golf te spelen. Keurig verbouwde schuur, modern en netjes; heerlijke open ruimte met keuken, eet- en zitgedeelte. Op de verdieping een tweepersoons bed met gordijn voor de trap en aangrenzend een slaapkamer met deur. Heel jammer dat er geen horren voor ramen en deuren zijn. Geen last van verkeer. Fijn omheinde tuin met hoge coniferen. Eigenaar was vergeten dat linnengoed inbegrepen was maar dat was snel verholpen. Goed contact met moeder van eigenaar. Op de foto stond een Senseo maar dat bleek een koffieapparaat met filters te zijn. Mooie laatste week van oktober gehad hier met temperatuur tussen 20-25 graden en een beetje regen.

Mouries selber bietet nicht so viel, ist aber ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne Ziele. Der kleine Garten ist komplett von einer Mauer umgeben. Den Straßenverkehr vor dem Haus merkt man in Haus und Garten nicht.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem kleinen Steinhaus mit dem kleinen Gärtchen sehr genossen!!! Der Bäcker um die Ecke, der Markt am Mittwoch in Mouriès, die wunderschöne Landschaft in der Umgebung und die Nähe zu St. Remy haben uns den Aufenthalt sehr genießen lassen. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wir hatten tolle Ferien in dem hübschen Haus und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Komplett eingezäunt mit einem zusätzlichen Zaun inklusive Sichtschutz auf der Mauer war es für uns mit Hund sehr angenehm. Außen ein großer Tisch mit vier Stühlen sowie zwei Liegestühlen machen den Aufenthalt im Garten sehr schön. Haus komplett gefliest und in den oberen Schlafräumen, eines durch eine Tür abgetrennt, das andere offen auf der Empore ( durch Vorhang abtrennbar) mit Laminat. Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Backofen alles vorhanden. Dusche ist in der Badewanne. Fön, Glätteisen sind auch vorhanden. Großer Kühlgefrierschrank. Ausreichend Töpfe etc., sogar eine Salatschleuder sind vorhanden. Wer Bettwäsche mitbringt, muss beachten, dass es typisch für Frankreich, für jedes Bett eine große gemeinsame Bettdecke ( ca 1.80/2.00 x2) gibt. Haus besitzt unten und oben Klimaanlagen, mit denen auch gewärmt werden kann. Die Lage ist nach hinten gesetzt am Ausgang des Ortes, tagsüber hört man Autos. In der Nacht konnte man aber bei geöffnetem Fenster gut schlafen. Der Ort selber ist klein, Restaurants gibt es so gut wie keine, Ein paar Bars, in denen man wohl auch Kleinigkeiten bekommen kann. Ein Pizzafenster ist vorhanden, die Pizza to Go sehr lecker. Highlight ist das gehobene Restaurant Qualia, in dem man sehr gut und lecker essen kann. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Bäckereien, eine nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Außerdem ein größeren Spar, in dem man alles nötige bekommt.

Das Haus ist recht geräumig, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Mouriès hat ein paar gute Restaurants und Bars, einen kleinen Supermarkt und zwei Bäckereien. Guter Startpunkt für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Wir waren Ende März da und das Wetter war nicht sehr warm, dadurch haben wir den garten wenig genutzt. Die Straße ist draußen natürlich zu hören, aber im Haus gar nicht. Uns hat es nicht gestört.

Our second time at Xavier's house. The niggles from last year have mostly been addressed, except the fan in the bathroom. A very pleasant 2 weeks with glorious sunshine throughout. The dogs remembered the villa straight away and were very settled in the garden. Although we had neighbours in the front house this time, parking for a car each was not a problem. Able to visit all of our old haunts in western Provence, and a few new ones. We will be back again - maybe not next year - but soon.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und genau so gut durchdacht. Dien Lage an de Südseite des geologisch beeindruckenden Gebirgszuges, der Alpillen, macht Mouriers zu einem Ausgangspunkt für vielseitige Aktionen in der Nähe (Radfahren, Wandern, Wein verkosten, Tektonik betrachten,...). Zudem ist die Lage von Mouriers als zentral zu bezeichnen. Nimes, Arles, Avignon und Marseille (Cote Bleu)leicht erreichbare Tagesziele. Selbst Nizza (ca. 220 km) kann noch als Tagesziel angesteuert weden. Das Haus verfügt über einen großen, sicheren Parkplatz. Es ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen (Bäcker 200m, Zentrum ca. 600m, Spar Supermarkt gut 1 km entfernt, ...). Die mit der Straße verbundenen Verkehrsgeräusche sind unaufdringlich unsd nachts kaum auftretemd. Geramtfazit: Überzeugendes Angebot - Gern wieder!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem schönen Haus in dem netten Ort. Alles, was man braucht, haben wir vorgefunden und sind sehr herzlich von der Mutter des Besitzers aufgenommen worden. Von dort aus konnte man vielfältige Touren machen. Das Wetter hat auch traumhaft mitgespielt.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the house and especially the terrace and garden. Great for the dog to be able to run around freely in the garden. Communication with the owner Xavier was easy and we always got an immediate response. Kitchen was complete. Some people might find it bothersome that the bathroom is located downstairs and the two bedrooms are upstaris. It didn't bother us at all.

Venons de quitter notre gîte à Mouriès. D'abord une superbe réhabilitation de la maison très bien équipée et son jardin agréable. Possibilité de randonnées à proximité mais aussi de jolis villages à visiter. À recommander
