The room was beautiful and spacious, the pool was so relaxing, and the breakfast was a 10/10. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We rented the e-bikes and it was a highlight of our vacation.

Fantastic winery hotel with lots of extras
Lovely stay at a winery hotel including a wine tasting, infinity pool, spa and breakfast as a part of the stay! What could you ask for more! Well, they also have a fantastic restaurant at night so don’t forget to make reservations to all of these amenities! Very close to Montalcino and lots of Brunello wines!

Stunning Property and Amazing Hospitality!
Amazing hospitality, beautiful views, well appointed and a true gem of Tuscany! From the moment of arrival with Anna, every detail was perfectly executed. As a solo traveller, it was comfortable and truly felt like home. The spa/bathhouse was a beautiful and relaxing treat! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms breathtaking with views overlooking the vineyards and rolling hills of Tuscany. The dining patio and pool had stunning views and sunsets with Antonio and Vladimir the perfect dining hosts. The chef has a gift with fresh ingredients, imaginative flavors and dishes executed to perfection. I recommend the chef’s tasting menu! A great location within short driving distance of Montalcino and within reach of many amazing wineries and villages. Overall a great location to explore all Tuscany has to offer. I even extended my stay to relish in the relaxation and luxury another few days. A true highlight of my Italian adventure and I will definitely return!

I can’t overstate how gorgeous the landscape and property is. Stunning! The rooms are excellent, the food and service was fantastic, the spa and wine tasting were fun, and the pool was gorgeous and relaxing. We’ll definitely be back.

Capanna Suites is absolutely magnificent. Truly gorgeous restored farmhouse property with sweeping vistas of Val D'Orcia. Can't say enough good things about the venue, restaurant (Il Passagio) and staff - a must stay in Montalcino.

Could not be happier with our stay at Capanna Suites. The views were amazing, the entire setting and buildings are beautiful, the staff could not have been nicer, the pool, the spa wonderful. The restaurant is top notch. We had a wonderful dinner there and breakfast every morning. Make sure you plan ahead and reserve a wine tasting and reserve your time at the spa which is one hour a day included in the room rate. We would most definitely come back. So beautiful and convenient to so many cities and sites that we planned on seeing.

We are return guests at Capanna. This is probably our favorite hotel of all time. The property and view is stunning. We love the facilities, restaurant and staff. And now we are wine club members- woohoo! Their wine and vineyard is not to be missed which is just down the street. The Montalcino area is simply gorgeous and our favorite place to relax.

Staff was super friendly. Rooms were very nice equipped well with wine fridge. Views were outstanding. Infinity pool was great. Breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

So so happy
The location is second to none. A stunning hilltop in the middle of Tuscan wine country. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable and everything we had hoped for. The wine, spa and restaurant are all TO DIE FOR. Must see!

This hotel set the bar EXTREMELY high for our 2 week vacation. The staff is truly invested in making sure your stay is superb. This is a relatively new-build hotel for Tuscany, but it’s built to look traditional with modern twists. Our room was very spacious and had a modern shower and changing closet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The pool is beautiful and the spa house is great. Currently you have to book the spa access a day ahead due to covid precautions; you get 1 hour to yourself per room. The restaurant is great. I expect a Michelin star in the near future for them!! The breakfast is superior for Italy; they have a hot breakfast with eggs and bacon!! Lots of baked goods and fresh fruit too. The dinner is noteworthy- my husband says the beef tartare was the best he ever had. It’s fancy; traditional with modern twists. You get a complimentary wine tasting at their vineyard down the road when you stay with them. The wine is delish and the staff is very welcoming. We left very early one morning and they even arranged a breakfast- to- go. I can’t say enough good things. They also have steamers for their guests- irons and steamers are hard to come by in Italy- they even offered me a curling iron when mine broke!! Alternatively I went and bought a new one for the rest of our holiday since I was going to need it for several days after our stay. They directed me where to go for not only a curling iron but for other day activities our entire stay. Bravo, Capanna

This was a beautiful property with fantastic room and a wonderful view. The only downfall was that the spa was not up and running yet and the food option of a night was very limited if any at all. Could not fault anything else!

Room was only a few months old and beautifully done in Tuscan farmhouse style with modern amenities. Food at restaurant was delicious made with fruits and vegetables grown on hotel's farmland. Beautiful views and well kept grounds.
