Ancient independent stone dwelling - Nautilus

Our house is located in the heart of the ancient village of Monopoli, 5 min walk from the beach (Cala Porta Vecchia).
It is a typical stone house with barrel vaults, enriched with the main comforts (radiators, air conditioning, free wi-fi internet). It consists of a kitchen, a bedroom, a recently renovated bathroom and a small internal atrium.
Located on the ground floor in a quiet and well-lit street, it allows you to reach the metropolitan nightlife in the blink of an eye.

Ancient Flat in the Old Town

This place was outstanding. It was a privilege just to stay here and think of the centuries that have passed since it was originally constructed. I especially enjoyed looking up at the stone arch ceilings and thinking about the effort that went into their construction. Besides the original stone construction I was also really impressed with the craftsmanship that went into the more recent carpentry work. The door to the bathroom was just amazing. Danielly was great. She was in touch before our arrival and was there to meet us even though we were an hour or so later than expected. She also did a great job of showing us everything. Also not overloading us with information at the beginning but keeping in touch so that we had all the information needed. I especially liked this part of the old town. It is very convenient to walk to the water, restaurants and do on. Likewise, just a few minutes walk back to the new town if one prefers that way. If you have a car, check with Daniella for parking location suggestions and how to get the latest parking information for the city.

Kurzurlaub

Daniela hat uns freundlicherweise wegen einer Flugverspätung mitten in der Nacht in die Wohnung gelassen! ☺️ Lage, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und auch die Optik sind ausgesprochen gut; einziger Mangel: die Wohnung ist nicht sehr ruhig. Man hat leider sowohl die Gespräche von der Straße wie auch die Mofas und die Autos, die insbesondere morgens und spät abends durchfahren. Wir hatten auch das Pech in der Baustelle in direkter Nachbarschaft, aber das ist ja nicht immer so. Wenn einen also der typische italienische Lärm stört, ist die Wohnung nicht zu empfehlen, ansonsten auf jeden Fall! 👍🏻

A great week

A lovely little apartment in Monopoli, and a lovely owner. Location was great in the heart of the old town. Everything I needed in the apartment and nearby. About a fifteen minute walk to the station, and once there, a good rail service and I was able to get everywhere I wanted....Bari, Ostuni, Matera, Polignano.... and Alberobello by bus. A great week and many happy memories of Monopoli. Thanks to Daniela and her family.

Our first time in Monolopi, we weren' sure what to expect. We couldn't have been more pleased. The location was perfect, only 5 minute walk to the beach. Restaurants, fruit markets, and the best gelato shop all minutes walking distance. No car necessary. Our flat was spotless, and the kitchen was fully stocked. Daniela couldn't have been more helpful with any information we needed. We miss it already. Would definitely visit again. Thank you again Daniela for making our stay so enjoyable.

Who knew?

I’ve never been to this part of Italy before and wasn’t expecting such a vibrant town with so many things to see and do! The location is perfect and Daniela helped with the very best recommendations for places to eat. We definitely want to come back!

Charming accommodation in a perfect location right

Daniela's apartment is well-maintained, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and equipped with all the needed kitchen stuff. It is comfortably located in a quiet street just a couple of steps away from the best restaurants. Daniela was very helpful and sent us recommendations on where to eat with very precise descriptions. She let us check in later than planned without charging extra. She was always fast to respond to any question. Her grammatically correct English is a huge plus when it comes to suggestions and recommendations. I would strongly recommend to choose Daniela's place. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay with her.

Perfect Monopoli accommodation

Staying at Daniela's apartment was one of the best experiences I've had on Airbnb. My boyfriend and I had a few issues with train/flight delays when we arrived and when we left, and she was extremely understanding and accommodating to our needs (even when we arrived much later than expected). She was also very fast to respond to all of our messages. The apartment itself was exactly as described. Very comfortable, and impressively clean! The location is great -- right in Monopoli's old town, with easy access to the most beautiful parts of the city (and harbor), as well as many fantastic restaurants. If you are visiting Monopoli, then I highly recommend staying at Daniela's :)

Fabulous place to stay!

Lovely place, self contained kitchen, all very clean. In centre of the old town Monopoli. Daniela was lovely and very helpful with giving us information on tourist sites the area and where to park. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in Monopoli

Daniela is a very caring host who is extremely responsive, flexible and friendly. The house exactly matched what was presented in the pictures. Furthermore, she gave us some really great tips (esp. the Puglian tapas place). Since the house is located in the heart of the historic center, you can practically walk everywhere.

Loved Monopoli!!!

I fell in love with Monopoli and Daniela's flat was the perfect spot to stay. The flat was super cut and clean and the extra outdoor space was wonderful. I'm hoping to return to Italy next year and would most definitely rent from Daniela again.

This apartment in the center of Monopoli is a great base for visiting the surrounding area. There are plenty of really good restaurant, stores and the beach - all in walking distance.

Ottima location, molto centrale (a pochi minuti a piedi da qualsiasi cosa a Monopoli), graziosa e confortevole. Daniela è stata disponibilissima o ospitale come d'abitudine in quei posti splendidi. Sicuramente torneremmo qui se avremo modo di passare nuovamente a Monopoli (speriamo)!

casa bellissima al centro storico di Monopoli

La casa si trova in una via nel centro storico di Monopoli, vicinissima al centro ed alla spiaggia, a lontana dal caos. Daniela è molto accogliente e gentile e ci ha fatto trovare una casa pulitissima. La casa è composta da una camera da letto matrimoniale molto grande, da un'altra stanza che fa da zona pranzo e angolo cottura, bagno e un giardino esterno nella parte posteriore. E ' molto graziosa e rifinita.
