House located in a quiet dead end at the top of the village and its stone houses. 12th century chapel listed as a historic monument, ramparts and ruins of a 14th century castle.

Visits or rest in the nearby inner courtyard (10 meters) around the above-ground swimming pool (in summer 01 June-15 September) for the exclusive use of the tenants of the gîte. Central location for visiting Provence: Avignon, Marseille, Aix en Provence, Les Baux de Provence, Arles, La Camargue, Lubéron, the blue coast, summer festivals, Provencal markets, beaches, water creeks clear ...

Perfect spot to stay!
Hervé was an amazing and gracious host, even when my family got sick! The house was great with plenty of space, and perfect for four adults who mostly wanted their own beds. The town was also beautiful with gorgeous views and delicious ice cream. Would highly recommend!

Pleasant stay in strange times
We ended up staying in Miramas during the period when Covid was back on the rise, especially in the Marseille area, which made it a strange time to be there. One thing to know: Miramas-Le_Vieux is very much a tourist sight in itself, so social distancing can be tricky almost from outside the front door. That said Herve went out of his way to make us comfortable, and also to be flexible on the touch and go nature of whether we were even coming. He is very friendly and helpful and I honestly felt he'd have helped out with anything we needed. The property is just as described, feels pretty spacious when you're there and is clearly very well cared for. The pool was great, if a little chilly at first, and the privacy and calms of the little courtyard was very welcome. I would advise paying attention to the word 'nearby' in the description of the courtyard: we had missed this and thought we had our own outdoor space connected to the house. In fact it's a few meters away - not exactly inconvenient, but if you want to have breakfast outside in your PJs, be aware you need to carry it all down a (tiny, but public) street to do so. All in all I'd recommend this place very much: in normal times I think it would be a lovely retreat.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings
Honestly the photos dont do the house and village justice. I had no idea the village and building was going to be so beautiful. So many restaurants to choose from and because your on a hill in everyone you can look out over the bay. Our host was lovely and made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of details about things to do in the area. He even hot us a bottle of wine and ice-cream when we arrived. On the day we left we had a late flight and Hereve was happy for us to leave later which made a big difference to our last day. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others although the hill is quite steep if you have mobility issues.

Perfect location in a charming and quiet village, lors of interesting and beautiful places around, easily accessible by car or train. Hervé is the perfect host, very helpful and charming. We loved the pool backyard and we plan to return!

Das Ferienhaus in Miramas ist wunderschön und super gelegen. Man hat viele Möglichkeiten tolle Ausflüge mit Kinder zu machen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und obwohl sie nebenan wohnen bekommt man nichts von ihnen mit. Ingesamt eine sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub

Pittoreskes kleines Dörfchen auf der Anhöhe
Herves ist ein sehr höflicher, aufgeschlossener und angenehmer Gastgeber. Das alte Steinhaus wurde gut saniert. Alle Zimmer waren zweckmäßig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Für die Familie gab‘s Brett- und Kartenspiele für die Abende. Ein großer Pool im benachbarten Hof und Bücher und Broschüren zur Region rundeten die Gastfreundlichkeit ab. Im Dorf mit Meerblick ist eine Pilgerstätte für Eisliebhaber. Le Quillé Glacier zieht mit seinen eigenen Eiskreationen Abends Jung und Alt an. Für Einkäufe sind wir in die nächste Ortschaft gefahren.Gaans

Fabelhafte Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage
Der überaus freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeber empfing unsere große Familie in seinem wirklich komfortabel eingerichteten Haus, das für uns sechs alles bot, was nötig ist. Die dicken Wände des historischen Gebäudes bieten kühle Luft auch an heißen Tagen. Außerdem ist der Pool eine wirkliche Bereicherung für Jung und Alt. Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen Hervés Haus gern weiter.

Es war sensationell bei Hervé. Schön gelegene Wohnung im Dorf von Miramas le Vieille. Abends im eigenen altruinenhaften Charme im eigenen Pool das Abendessen sowie ein Bad nehmen. Herzlicher Vermieter, sehr lsngsam für Nicht-Franzosensprecjrmd.

Unser Feriendomizil war – wie schon in anderen Rückmeldungen ebenfalls erwähnt - der Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche schöne Aktivitäten. Drei Wochen waren gefüllt mit Tagen am Strand, Marseille (mit der Bahn entlang der Côte Bleue!), wunderschönen Städte und Märkten, Künstlern und Seifenfabrikation, Wanderungen oder Kanutouren zur Pont du Gard / in der Camargue, … das Haus in Miramas le Vieux der Punkt zur Entspannung. Das Haus ist großzügig, sehr sauber und gemütlich, der Pool wunderbar - der Vermieter außerordentlich freundlich und immer unterstützend bei Bedarf. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Traumhafter Urlaub in wunderbarer Umgebung
Das Objekt ist super für einen Familienurlaub. Er kann als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge genutzt werden. Nach diesen kann am und im Pool entspannt werden. Das Mittelmeer ist weiter weg, aber der nahe See ist super. An der Strandbar kann man sich mit Getränken und Snacks versorgen. Allgemein stimmt die Versorgung. Es gibt Restaurants in jeglicher Preisklasse vor Ort und ein Besuch der Eisdiele lohnt. Der Vermieter ist super nett und sehr diskret. Unseren Teenagern fehlte ein wenig der Trubel, für uns Erwachsenen war die Ruhe genau richtig. Merci, Hervé.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable. L'accueil réservé par notre hôte fut très chaleureux. Nous avons profité du gîte très bien équipé et surtout de l'espace piscine pour se rafraichir tous les jours après les visites dans la région sous des températures caniculaires. Le village est magnifique, on peut déambuler et découvrir les ruelles en passant par des chemins étroits presque secrets en dégustant de bonnes glaces de glaciers ou restaurants locaux.

Séjour dans un lieu très atypique et reposant. Une vue incroyable. Attention cependant aux quelques contraintes liées à la localisation nécessitant d'être en bonnes conditions physiques (les voitures ne pouvant se garer à proximité de la location). La location est propre et propose tout le nécessaire. L'espace piscine / salon de jardin est privatif mais n'a pas d'accès direct à la location. Le propriétaire est très attentionné et à l'écoute.

Miramas (mehr sehen span.) Atemberaubende Ausblicke
Eine schöne Wohnung, versteckt in einem historischen Gebäude, hoch auf dem Berg... Wunderbare Aussicht auf den Etang de Berre, wenige, aber sehr gute Restaurants. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfreich, die Ferienwohnung sehr sauber und gut aufgeteilt. Der Außenbereich ist nicht von der Wohnung aus zugänglich, sondern man muss um die Ecke laufen. Das sind zwar nur 20 Schritte, aber wir haben den Grill-/Poolbereich im Sept. dann nicht mehr genutzt. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung.

Un très bon séjour de 3 jours.. D'abord notre hôte Hervé est d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, cela compte beaucoup ! L'appartement est très agréable pour se reposer. La cuisine est bien équipée. Le lieu, le village, est un délice pour s'y promener pour qui aime les vieilles pierres, le calme des ruelles ombragées et fleuries, jouxtant quelques restaurants ou glaciers qui ont un fort succès en période estivale. La piscine hors sol à quelques pas de l'appartement est aussi bien agréable, même si avec tout ce qu'il y a à voir dans la région, nous ne l'avons pas utilisée tous les jours. La possibilité de faire des barbecues est aussi très agréable. Bref, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
