I came into town for one night to pick up some parts for my car. I booked with Country Inn & Suites as I have in other places and not been disappointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the rooms clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that they put up a sign that could be seen from street as it sits back off the street and is easy to miss. I would stay there again.

The hotel is clean and respectful. However, after finding out that the door to my room did not clasp close. I could push the door open without using the key card. This was found out after sleeping in the room all night. I spoke to the front desk about it. This conversation was at approximately 8:00 am. I was told they would have a maintenance guy look at it. I got back from my conference at around 8:45 pm. I found the door was still not fixed. The person working the front desk came to my room and saw what I was talking about. I asked why it wasn't fixed and he had no answer. I then asked if I could get a new room or will it be fixed. I once again was told the maintenance guy would come up right away. I fell asleep around 11:45 pm and still had not seen a maintenance guy. The following morning I spoke to the same person at the front desk and got nothing but excuses. I then asked if people's security was important because their follow thru was not showing it to be important. After 24 hours of getting no where I was then told that a manager would call me. This never happened as well. I would strongly encourage people to consider how this hotel handles the security of their customers when choosing a hotel to stay at.

Front staff check in and check out were very nice and friendly. Breakfast was good and staff kept it stocked and the tables clean. New carpet in the hallways. New updated bathroom in my room. Were nice to see. Sink drain was slow to drain. Curtains would have liked the room darkening curtains across the whole window. It was to light in my room. Mattress was to hard for me. Pillows were good.

It smelled like sewer gas and when we tried to tell the front desk person he just said no we don’t have that problem here but we know what that smell is and it took about 30 mins for him to come to front desk to check us in. The room was nice. The building was under construction, I get things happen but were frustrated that he didn’t even care to recognize how bad the smell was it was bad. Otherwise everything else was good. I will likely stay there again hoping at that time the construction will be done. It was very convenient and breakfast was awesome!

Looking better in the New Year
Hotel is still in the midst of a renovation. While the decor is looking good, they seem to have left the beds for last. Whether that's a choice or a supply chain issue is unknown to me. Still a good stay for the price.

When I was trying to check in no one was around to check me in. I stood around for at least 20 minutes. The place is under construction and a complete mess that would have been nice to know. It’s also run down the rooms are beat.

This place was horrible. Flooring was torn up, construction stuff everywhere, numbers taped to doors, doors uncloseable, stained carpets and beds. Safety was an issue as a solo female and staff were a little intrusive into asking you personal details of what you were doing in town. Wanted to turn right back around.

Thanks for your response, we are waiting for new signage to come in. Material is on back order; we have replaced those numbers. New furniture is also on back order, choice was supposed to send in July. These things are out of our control. Brand new furniture is going in all rooms. We are currently still undergoing a 2-million-dollar renovation, we hope you can join back once is all finished! New carpet is going in as well (as you can clearly see).
Room heater very noisy, non smoking room smelled of smoke. Cotton travel bags left on the floor had to be washed because of the smell. Flooring was being replaced all over the building. Exit stair cases weren’t safe to use. Construction materials everywhere. Mattress was poor quality.

Property is unsafe. Stairway steps are loose when you step on it. They have construction wood against the stair rails which is hazardous. Carpets in room and super dirty and it was just super noisy. Pools looks dirty. Theyve been having construction supposedly going on for almost year now but there is no one there working during the day on anything. Its just there.

We try not to have construction crew in over the weekend, so guests can have a more relaxing and enjoyable time. Also, it is our busiest time. We hope you can appreciate these efforts. Hotel is being renovated and we weren’t made aware of that. Room smelled. Sheets looked like they had blood stains, hair clogging the bathroom shower, and due to no carpet in the hallway housekeeping voices were extremely loud in the early morning.
The hotel is currently being remodeled so the halls are missing their carpet. Our room was nice but I was confused to why we booked and paid for a king size room but upon check in were given a room with two queens. When asked we were told they didn't have a King room cleaned... we did not check in til 8:45pm so that was a bit discouraging.

The breakfast was very good. Our room lacked heat and they never did fix it or offer to switch rooms. Most didn’t speak English so hard to communicate. Bathroom had no towel racks and no handicap rails in tub. No carpet in room so my bed kept moving. As I said earlier the breakfast was very good and the menu changed every day

Way over priced for the conditions of the hotel. I understand they are under renovations, but if you going to do that much at once and leave it looking like that while guests stay there they should just temporarily close it!!
