We had to change 3 rooms at check in time since rooms where not properly cleaned, hotel car entrance is part of side walk and had trouble bringing the car to the entrance causing police to almost impound our car!

The hotel is older and we had issues with a horrible smell coming from our air conditioning. The area around the hotel is definitely not the worst, but being on a Main Street proved challenging at times. The staff were extraordinary and when we complained about the smell we were moved instantly. It’s a value of a hotel, but if I came back I’d stay somewhere in a neighborhood like Roma.

Nice hotel. Room service was bad considering I stayed there 6 nights and had to ask every single day for toiletries, facecloths , hand towels, water, tea and coffee and sugar for the complimentary coffee maker. I expected better from a LeMeridien hotel. Still, I liked the size of the rooms and bathroom and quietness . But hotel could have done better.

The room offers two separate areas (bedroom and living room), which is a nice for naps or down time as we had a child with us. Starbucks location located at bottom or ground level. Hotel front desk, bellmen and housekeeping staff is friendly. We chose the hotel since it seemed conveniently central to everything we wanted to do...Zocalo, Chapultepec Zoo/Park, Palacio de Bellas Artes. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The hours for pool are a bonus when you have kids, they can unwind or burn off energy while adults use jacuzzi. A few negatives; rooms with view as we had need maintenance (visible dust bunnies in structure), restaurant staff could or should have change for larger pesos and be a bit more friendlier or helpful to tourists.

Beautiful hotel, rooms nice & clean, big and spacious, bathroom as well. They were able to acommadate me to my room earlier, gracias Tania! Felt really sick after my flight & it was not my check in time, Tania was quick to get me in a room. I really appreciated that. Great location. Great stay! Highly recommend!

Good restaurants around hotel close to old town Mexico City. The breakfast included in room is ok the fresh to order eggs/omelette is good. The dinner in las Gorias was bad eat out of hotel so many better options. Ordered the guacamole and it came with some over cooked deep fried shrimp that we were overcharged for. Took a lot to get the shrimp removed from the bill as we didn’t order and tasted not good

I was only going to stay for one night and ended up 3 nights 4 days. It was a great place to have stayed. My family along with my pet Chiquise 2 kilos chihuahua were very welcomed. I cant express how HAPPY I was with everything from bellboy Aldo to receptionist males and females. Along with the pool person.

The water, the hot water it’s a problem there are the property sometimes you don’t have hot water or something you don’t have cold water and you as the stuff to fix it and they just don’t care

We choose this hotel because one of the people in our company is wheelchair dependent. The room had two separate areas, which was convenient as we had a child with us, and large roll in shower. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel in Mexico City is also convenient as it is somewhat the same distance from Chapultepec and Metropolitan Cathedral. We were able to walk almost everywhere. We are very happy we chose this hotel over any other ones that we stayed before.

The condition of the hotel was nice, but what was provided felt stingy. I had booked specifically a room with two QUEEN beds for my family of 4, and we were given a room with two DOUBLE beds, which is hard for two adults to share. Further, the room for 4 came with a total of one face towel and two body towels. Because we arrived in our room late, I did not want to call down to ask and wait for additional linens to disrupt our schedule. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were attached to the wall and their pump mechanism was broken. There were only two tiny bottles of water provided, again for a room for 4. We certainly felt the offerings of the hotel stingy.

I had issues I’m my room that were not solved promptly. My stay was for 7 nights They offered complimentary breakfast buffet,for the remainder last 4 nights, however , I was approached and questioned in a rude way about helping my self to their buffet. Unfortunately this was not the best hospitality service that I normally experience

We were changed to a room with poorly placed light switches. No separate light switch for the sink area. A, leaky shower head. We required a tech to come to the room to configure Netflix with their TV. Without a tech, we could not get rid of the irritating Marriott Bonvoy banner on the left hand side of the screen. Why isn't this offered free of charge instead of requiring one to log into their account and then scan some QR code from the monitor? I am an older traveler and am not amused by the steps needed to watch a channel. Couldn't get the thermostat to adjust to a slightly warmer temperature on the Fan and air only mode. It was still too cold. And the hotel rep who came to the room said that the hotel doesn't even have heating! No heating option on switch in a Méridien hotel! ? Incredible. Other hotels that are only 3 star only offer this option in Mexico City. - - FAN ONLY / AIR CONDITIONING / HEAT. Their was no appropriate sign to hang on the door to tell the cleaning staff that the room was available to clean. On one occasion I had to go downstairs to reception at 4 30 PM to make sure that someone would actually make up the room. No complimentary drink or meal discount offered at all. Hotel design is terrible having to either walk up to the reception or take the elevator. For the high price we paid, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in CDMX.

Ugly incident with this hotel
My wife forgot a valuable ring on our room’s toilette, we did the check-out and two hours later she realized her ring was missing, we called the hotel and they said they didn’t find anything. Clearly someone took and kept it. Just explaining facts.
