The hostel offered a full refund because we couldn't meet all your criteria and you declined the refund.We clean private rooms upon checkout unless requested.We have hot water and heaters in all rooms. I have not received another complaint about this issue.Yes, it's winter in Melbourne!Our bathrooms and kitchens are cleaned on a daily basis. We supply cleaning products for guests but do not include paper towels for environmental reasons.As mentioned previously and over the phone multiple times, South Yarra Hostel offered a full refund which was declined. Thanks for your review, every room has a desk per guest to allow for Laptop use or eating meals in their rooms. We were unaware about the showers not holding temperature and will rectify this in the coming week. Thank you for leaving a nice review. Towels are provided upon request and at no extra charge unlike other Hostels. Reception hours are stated upon booking and we are contactable at all times out of regular hours. We believe that providing our guests with more of a home than a hostel feel makes South Yarra Hostel different and more welcoming.

Thank you for leaving a great review!! We think South Yarra Hostel is in the best position in Melbourne. Close to the best cafes, restaurants and bars. Also having South Yarra Train Station within 5 minute walk giving our guests quick, easy and direct transport into the city (CBD). We are thrilled that you found South Yarra Hostel so comfortable and spacious that you made it your home for your stay in Melbourne. We always try to ensure that all of our Guests get a good nights sleep and are really happy that is was quiet and peaceful each and every night! Our WiFi is fantastic and available throughout the building and at high speeds.
