"The place was very clean and a lof of space. The staff were also very helpful and polite. My friends and I had a lot of fun. The only problem we had was the limited hot water which meant we had to shower in cold water sometimes because we couldnt wait for the boost button. However, overall we enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely go again some other day. "

"My wife and I cancelled our hotels and booked this house for 7 days and it was so amazing that we booked and extra day and changed our flights to fly out of Shannon instead of driving back up to Northern Ireland and taking ferry back to Edinburgh. "Very quaint cottage in a peaceful setting. We loved seeing the farmer gather his cows each morning as well as enjoying the sounds of he birds by the feeder. Being so rural, it took a little drive to get to any major roadway, but we quickly figured out the best routes. The cottage had many nice little amenities such as instant coffee, tea, seasonings, even fries in the freezer. Owner was very responsive when we had a question and gave us suggestions of things to do and where to eat in the area....

"The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

"The most beautiful setting and historic buildings modernized with every comfort. Exceptional decoration and appointments. Our host Marion was lovely and helpful and her scones were delicious. Our chef Damien Culliney performed last minute miracles feeding extra family members. "Nice spot in Quin. Best for persons with rental cars. Not really walkable (dangerous road without a bright yellow vest) to Quin village but taxis and Uber is available, if you’re lucky and patient. "Now, THIS is a hotel. Unlike my last stay (at the Moxie in downtown NYC) the Strand does not skimp on the amenities. The room was spacious and fully equipped, the bed comfortable, the service excellent. The location across the river is both extremely close to the heart of Limerick while not being stuck in the middle of it. I would not recommend eating at The River (the in-hotel restaurant) though. My meals were mediocre at best. But that's my only quibble. "
