Welcome to Jewel Box Cottage in historic Maysville, Kentucky. This 1930 craftsman home exudes charm from her beautiful woodwork to her exception location in the historic downtown area. Jewel Box is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home that sleeps 6. You can Walk through kentucky history as you make your way to downtown cafes, restaurants, boutiques and the Promenade along the Ohio River. She is not just pretty, though. Her interior got a facelift in 2020 which featured 2 new bathrooms a new kitchen and an interior by a top decorator. To enhance your stay Jewel Box features comfortable beds, lux towels, ample seating and a fully appointed kitchen. We provide bikes so you can cruise around town and see the sights. A true Jewel Box we hope you will love her as much as we do.

Family Gathering
The house was wonderful place for family to gather after funeral of my father. My mother wanted us to be able to gather together for stories, laughter & tears. This gave us privacy to do so. Booking & checking in was very easy. We found it very clean except for some "sticky" kitchen cabinet doors/drawers. The only "issue" we had was not finding outlets in the bedrooms......after a good night's rest we realized the next morning that they were located in the baseboards of the same color! Will know next time!!

Weekend Getaway
The house was very clean and appeared newly remodeled with great decor. The house was in the perfect location to easily get to the Old Pogue Distillery, the Gateway Museum, the Pogue Experience, and then to eat at Caproni's on the River. We had a great weekend getaway at the perfect house.

Amazing stay ! Vert cool and perfectly located!
This house was so cute! In the location was absolutely Amazing. You could walk to downtown very easily so we got breakfast each morning in town and dinner each night and walked home! We shopped and walked home and never had to look for parking. The beds were so comfortable and the linens so nice it was like saying in my cool friends house!
