You get what you pay for. Cost effective and cosy.
My friend and I booked this hotel because the price was very reasonable. Don't confuse this with the Tribute Guest House by the border bridge. The hotel was fine for our 2 day trip and the staff were helpful in trying to get us booked on tours etc. the rooms are quite cramped (if you have the twin beds) and the shower is right in the room as well. Breakfast selection is very limited so I'd recommend skipping this and trying one of the local restaurants instead. All in all, a just-ok stay.

Ausgangspunnkt für Trips in das Landesinnere
Das Hotel befindet sich im südlichen Bezirk von Lesotho. Lesotho ist nicht vergleichbar mit anderen Städten die einen modernen oder historischen Stadtkern haben. Im wesentlichen ist Lesotho ein großes Township. In diesem Kontext ist das Hotel sehr gut, aber nicht vergleichbar mit den schicken Lodges die es in Südafrika gibt. Von Maseru aus kann man hervorragend das Gesamte Land erkunden. Mittlerweile geht dies auch mit einem Kleinwagen (Zweiradantrieb) da viele Straßen geteert sind. Selbst ungeteerte Wege lassen sich mit einem kleinen PKW befahren (zumindestens bei Trockenheit) Das Frühstück wird individuell (mündlich, d.h. ohne Menukarte) bestellt und schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt kein Buffet. Das Zimmer ist sauber und insgesamt sehr klein. Dusche und Toilette und Küche sind drei separate Räume. Die Einrichtung ist Sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Die Umgebung habe ich als ungefährlich empfunden. Die Strasse bis nach Qacha's Nek ist komplett geteert und ist eine richtige traumhafte Panorama Route. Der Massentourismus hat Lesotho noch nicht entdeckt, es gibt nur sehr wenige Touristenshops und auf den lokalen Krammärkten im Land werden überwiegend für uns uninteressante Industrieprodukte aus der ersten Welt verkauft.
