Come home from here yesterday, food wasn’t the best it was very repetitive and could tell it was all cheap. We ate out quite a lot of times because it wasn’t appetising after being there for 10 days I was ready to come home. The small and large pool kept cutting everyone’s feet so there was blood everywhere which isn’t very hygienic. I did report this to the life guards numerous times as they had to put stuff on the kids feet but they didn’t seem very bothered. The rooms wasn’t cleaned by the cleaners all they did was make the beds and if you didn’t get up by 9 and have it done then it wouldn’t be made. I wasn’t really happy with this as my 6 year old spilled drinks on the floor so it was sticky and we had been to the beach a few times so there was sand on the floor. The entertainment was really poor only 1 good show the whole 10 days. On a plus side the kids really enjoyed it the splash park is brilliant, the crazy golf, upside down house and 4D cinema etc was brilliant. Considering we went in these circumstances it was really good close to the town so plenty places to go and eat out and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. Glad I didn’t go when the strip is open as we are quite close to it so could even here the music coming from a few places that was open. Would of been shocking if the strip was open so wouldn’t advise going when it all re opens properly. The hotel is very noisy as night as in people maybe people need to be considerate when it’s late.

The hotel is excellent for families , just got home from a 5 day stay, really impressed especially during the covid crisis , the hotel is lovely , drinks are good , entertainment is good , the only issue was the mask situation which is really irritating . Food was ok ... had a brilliant time and will defiantly be returning next year hopefully by then things will be back to some sort of normal

Fantastic hotel for anyone with a young family. I’ve been twice this year with my 6-year old son. He loved the water park when we came in April. It was closed when we were here this week so we visited all the other attractions we didn’t get to see the last time. He lived it.

Kids love everything.
From day 1 to the end of our stay everytjing was great. My kids loved it. We will definitely go back. Negative part was we have 2 rooms the otther rooms aircon does not work so we all slept in one room but overall everyrthing was wonderful

The only realy thing I can say is be ready for the noise outside.. it has nothing to do with the hotel its the other hotels guest near the property which is to be expeted when you are in Magaluf. Recommended when you have children they have everything children will enjoy.

It’s a shame really, the hotel is clean and lobby, reception and bar area is nice - the rooms are a bit basic and small, but perfectly fine. The pool was good and the soft play was great for young kids. The staff were so lovely and it’s perfectly safe for the kids with an alarm system if children try and leave on their own. It’s just such a shame that the hotel is so noisy and the noise goes on until all hours. I think the hotel could do with more action against the noise. Even signs up on each floor asking people to be quiet in respect of other guests. There were a few fights we witnessed in our stay and the language of some was bad when there are young kids around. I left my room with my 5 year old and found a man outside feffing and jeffing about something and this was pretty standard to hear. If the hotel could get behaviour of some in check it would be a good family hotel.

My son loves the park so much and we wish to go back next year if possible. The room is clean. The staffs are fab. Food is good and varieties. We hardly go anywhere except staying inside the resort. The staffs at the kids club are well train. My son didn’t want to go anywhere because of the clubs. There are so much to do inside the resort for children. Fabulous.

A perfect family hotel with great facilities. We were early, upon arrival we were greeted by the theme park manageress - what a credit to the hotel (lovely English lady). She arranged for our bags to be taken in and arranged wristbands to visit the theme park. The hotel has selected some of the greatest staff, the staff couldn't do enough for you and extremely tolerant towards the children. The hotel is close to the beach. Food was excellent and plenty of choice for vegetarians. The only downfall during our stay 5 to 9 April was the hotel wasn't ready, work was going on throughout which spoilt our stay. It was opened prematurely as the pools weren't ready (although the hotel had a regular bus taking people to their sister hotel). The petrol cutting machinery was noisy which meant sitting on the balcony wasn't an option. Once the work is complete this wouldn't be an issue. The work is near completion and should be ready by 1 May 2019 - Shame Hotels.com didn't inform us prior to booking or going there. AVOID the local shops, Aldi is opposite the hotel at the rear for water and fruits etc. The local shops charge what they want and tend to rip off the tourists. All in all, the hotel is great, excellent location and facilities. Anything it lacks is made up by the wonderfully great staff! BOOK WITHOUT HESITATION.

This was a really great hotel to stay in, the check in was easy, room very spacious and location was great! The highlight of the stay was the amazing buffet that was included, incredible!!!

I stayed here for 2 nights for a friends birthday party. It was fantastic and would be prtefect for anyone staying longer. Great location seconds away from the main center. Great for families and really clean.

A nice clean hotel with a fun park included. Great if you travel with small children. I would not recommend it to a couple without children, as there are really really a lot of children everywhere. Our children loved it, so we are happy. Great family hotel!

Staff were all first class in all parts of the hotel. The restrauant what a nightmare, it was just like a cattle market, 90% were children just running about and no organisation filling any of the food up when it had run out, it was an experience but never again.

Perfect for young kids.
Lovely hotel especially for kids. A lot of acrivities for young toddlers to keep them busy the whole day. The only downside is the room. The furniture is old and room lacks the basic amenities (no bathrobe, no slippers, no tissue inside the room, no minibar or coffee machine). But anyway it was okay with us as long as our baby is enjoying and is safe to play while we go out to beaches and shopping alone! Manuella in the reception was a huge help for us and very friendly.

Great for young kids
Great place to stay for families with young kids. The splash park is superb. We ate out other than breakfast due to poor reviews on the food quality but I'd say the breakfast was good.

We arrived late and were put in a room which must just been decorated, the toilet door wouldn't lock or shut properly due to the lock being painted with gloss paint. There were too many children too so we asked to change to another Sol hotel but were told no.We were moved rooms which was much better but for us still too many children, which seemed odd as most uk children were still at school whilst on our stay. The hotel seems to try very hard but is let down by the condition of the rooms and the noise. Not really adult friendly!

The park itself was amazing for my son. However, the room we got smelled bad (like fresh paint) and even my son was complaining about it. I was just staying one night so I did not bother to ask for a room change. Food was ok.

Me and my son stayed there for one night the hotel is very big but it is a old building which smells very bad the rooms are dated and had this awful smell inside. The breakfast is very good and the park is excellent my son really enjoyed it.

Hotel was ok but nothing special. BCM is 200m as crow flies so no sleep with louts shouting and screaming at all hours. Then to top it off, hotel cranks up the music as 8am at pool bar in the morning. Very dated plus one particular staff member on K3 Climb was very agressive with kids.

Granddaughters surprise
Went to surprise our 22 year old granddaughter and her friend. The hotel was very good food, amenities great and all geared for families so not quite so for a couple of oldies But we still enjoyed our short stay and would recommend to everyone who has children

2nd time at this hotel after a great experience last year returned to find the hotel has sold out to big travel chains. So if u want to get up at 7am to secure a sun bed by the pool, que for drinks as only 1 bar is open - book away. Rooms are clean with fresh crispy bedding. Food ok but again loads of Queing and the staff can't keep the tables clean nor layed, ended up most nights getting the cutlery for our table. Great location for night life and good attraction for kids to visit. If ur staying at hotel to watch evening entertainment get there early due to lack of seating.

It's a bit noisy
Generally it was a positive experience staying at this hotel. Katmandu Park is perfect for the kids and the fact that it's free for hotel guests is excellent. The location of the hotel is a bit two sided, it's nice and close to the beach, just a couple of minutes walk to the sea and lots of decent restaurants. The down side is its location in relation to BCM, and the fact that noise insulation from the doors onto the balcony is pretty much non existent. It was pretty tough for me to get a decent nights sleep due to the shouting from the streets and the noise from the corridors. The hotel entertainment was pretty good, again, aimed at kids, so perfect for families. All in all, the only downside is the fact that it's a little bit noisy, but we had a good time anyway.

The hotel on the whole is ok. This is still being refurbished and does offer good value for money. My group I was travelling with out of all the three rooms we had not one of them looked like the ones advertised. I would not recommend bringing children here as it is full of younger people going clubbing and being disruptive at night. The staff were very polite and welcoming. One of our rooms on arrival had half a bath and the air con wasn't repaired for 4 days and once this was repaired water started dripping out of it. The theme park is decent because it is free. This is a 5 min walk away from the strip so some of the rooms will be subject to noise.

Great kids club and ok entertainment on an evening best act was queen tribute. Food was ok plenty of choice for breakfast & evening meal. Once all the extras in the park is finished kids will love it. Obviously a resort for hens/stags - if u don't want this don't go! Rooms basic but clean with massive comfy bed!

I was on a short break with my daughter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sol Katmandu. There was some work going on at the hotel but this did not hinder our stay. The hotel was very central to the beach, shops, bars and restaurant and was suitable for all ages.
