Fantastic Place! Accommodation has everything you need, Staff is super nice and very very helpful, great views and beautiful Gardens surrounding the property ✨ Also having grocery store and restaurant within few minutes walk is a Huge plus, overall we loved it and will be back for sure!

This was amazing. We were lucky enough to get a surprise upgrade to one of the villas. The view was stunning. It is in a quieter part of the island, but we already knew this and it was just what we wanted. A hire car is recommended if you want to get out and about. Really relaxing. The only thing to mention is that it is situated on a hill, so there is a steep walk back to the villa after you have been out.

Recommended!
Apartments and stuidio apartments on a super great location. Spacious room, a bit old furniture, but very clean. Delicious breakfast, very kind personnel. Mr Dominic was very helpful and gave as rent a car for 1 day only at very good price, possible for drop-off on other location... We enjoyed our stay.

Great stay - quiet and peaceful
Pro: - very quiet area - beautiful colony style house - lovely view from the balcony (if you are on the top floor, otherwise you see the parking) - daily cleaning - air conditioning - free wifi - close to many beautiful beaches where you'll be completely alone - local restaurants nearby - mini market nearby - 5min walk from bus stop - security 24/7 - cars available - fresh coconut in the garden - no spiders - no flies - mosquito net cons: - no window, so be ready to sleep with inoffensive geckos - a lot of ants overall : we spent two weeks at La residence and have a lovely stay. The house's facilities are a bit old, but the charm of the house itself and the view will make you forget about anything. We had one cockroach one night in the bathroom. The day after the owner plugged the whole from where it came and we never saw one again. To be honest, as it is a tropical island I am sure it happens even 5 stars hotels.

Amazing apartment and Mayna is the best!!!!
Oh gosh where to start. the property is great, clean and nice. the AC in the room was really good as it gets warm. Mayna the owner was super sweet and nice! and the rest of the staff as well!! She upgraded me to a villa as the description was wrong in my booking. She gave me fruit platter when I arrived (I was telling her how much I cannot wait to buy fruit and avocado and cook for myself:)) she did my laundry, helped me with car booking and allowed me to check out late. In my 8month of traveling I have not met this kind owner who did so much for me!! definitely recommending this place and do rent a car from her, much cheaper and hastle free than at the airport. Thank you so much Mayna and the rest of the team for my amazing stay!! I felt like home ❤️

Accommodation with beautiful view
I really enjoyed my stay at La Residence as the location was great (it was across the road from the beach) and the apartment was very spacious, fully equipped with kitchen, air con, WiFi and an amazing view. You will need insect repellent to stay outside. It was 40 mins drive from the airport, at the South of Mahé island and 1 hour on the local bus to the main city, Victoria. There are 2 buses just outside of the property going to Victoria so it's very convenient to get around. You can also hire a car from La residence. The staff (Dominic and Mayna) are lovely and very helpful. I would recommend La Residence if you're looking for a relaxing, homely accommodation.

La Residence - Delivered
Highlights Staff friendly and quick to respond to queries. Wife craved Coconut water and plucked one from a tree. The premises gardener was extremely helpful enabling her to have her delights. Amazing surroundings and proximity to buses shops beaches and exotic fruit trees. Quiet and peaceful. Spacious apartment and all basic amenities expected in a self catering accommodation. Things to take note of. Car rental required. Steep hill to the premises. Avoid the ground floor apartment if problems with ants, creepy crawlies, geckos and occasional visitations from local stray cats (La Residence were quick to eradicate a couple during our stay) The LG apartments had wind-up standing fans - a little antiquated, keeps you attentive. All in all - a satisfactory stay.

Stunning views
We stayed in one of the bungalows at La Residence and it was such a great decision. The views from the bungalow are breathtaking. You can sit there and just admire them all day. It is walking distance to a beach and the staff was very helpful and attentive. If I am ever back in Seychelles, here is where I would stay without question.

Beautiful view and vibes
We had a wonderful stay at La Residence. We were able to make good use of the kitchen and cook our own meals. Plenty of parking, quiet neighbourbood to kick back and relax and a beautiful view. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable apartment with great view
We enjoyed our stay at La Residence. The staff were friendly and efficient and the apartments and gardens were cared for and well maintained. The apartment had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed and air conditioning as well as a good sized fridge/freezer, microwave and cooker. One small thing - a toaster would have been an appreciated addition (although if I had asked there may have been one available). Lovely balcony with a view across the gardens and bay. Many fruit trees full of birds and fruit bats. Overall a great property and excellent value for money.

I stayed at La Residence for 7 nights it felt like a home away from home with good self catering factilies and very spacious. It's about 35 minutes drive from town but was worth the drive. The house keeping was very friendly and efficient, apartment was cleaned daily with fresh towels n bedding. Would definitely recommend staying. P

Great place to stay if you want to relax.
La residence is situated away from any hustle and bustle, in my opinion, a great location, with great views to go with it. The whole area is tropical and full of wildlife, which can be a bit noisy at night. Mainly because most of the buildings in the Seychelles have metal roofs which make it more noticeable. Great for bird-watching and generally relaxing, for us a good base from which to explore the island. Overall I would certainly recommend this place. (We stayed for 4 nights in one of the villas) The owners were there if you needed them but did not intrude at all. Great. We had a rental car which I would say is a must. There is enough walking to do on the beaches :) Anyone who has been to the Seychelles would probably agree that the beaches are just fantastic and exploring them will let you find your favourite. Just as we did. Just as a note, there are not many restaurants around and generally food is quite expensive overall.

Excellent hotel near the beach for a great price
We had a great time at La Residence. Its in a great location to enjoy the sunsets and beaches. The staff was friendly and the room was all we needed. It was clean, had everything we needed to cook meals, AC, WiFi, and such a comfy bed. It makes an luxury travel location absolutely affordable. We definitely recommend La Residence.

Great place not near good beach
Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. It's not near. Beach you can swim at and there aren't many restaurants in the area. There is a bus stop but you might be better off with a car. They have cars at very reasonable rates

Nice traditional hotel close to the beach
I just back from my holiday and I would like to recommend that hotel. We stayed there one week and I wish to back there one day. .. We stayed in studio and we had everything what we need to cook our own dishes. Staff was very helpful. Mu fly was late evening and we could stay much longer than check out time. Cleaning services was excellent.

Die Aussicht ist der Hammer. Es hat einen schönen Privatstrand auf der anderen Strassenseite. Auto Empfehlenswert, die Strassen zu den jeweiligen Unterkünften sind sehr steil :) Für uns war dieser Standort der aller schönste auf der ganzen Insel.

Etwas oberhalb gelegene Bungalowsiedlung. Die Zimmer waren sauber und es war alles da. Nur die größeren Schlitze an den Türen ermöglichen natürlich auch kleineren Tieren ungehindert Einlass.

Bra vistelse. Vänlig personal. Rent och snyggt. Något isolerat, men tyst och lugnt. Bra för par, men sannolikt ej för barn. Regn varje dag under vår vistelse. Hög fuktighet. Rimligt pris jämfört med vad det kostar att leva på denna vackra och alltid gröna ö. Hyrbil rekommenderas för utflykter och shopping. Flertalet fina sandstränder. Man upplevde i mycket på denna ö att livet stannat kvar sedan tidigt 60-tal. Ingen jäkt eller stress. Kan varmt rekommenderas för stressade svenska storstadsbor.

Jolie vue sur anse à la mouche Proximité arret bus, supermarché, atm et jolies plages du sud ouest. Confort et propreté Ok. Environnement calme et personnel très compétent. Seul bémol la présence de 2 petites souris pendant notre séjour ( impossible de bloquer accès car elles passent sous les portes d entrée) On recommande très bon rapport qualité prix.

La struttura è caratterizzata da una posizione strategica su una collinetta che permette di avere tranquillità e panorama mozzafiato sull'insenatura di anse la mouche. Abbiamo alloggiato in una delle villette composta da 2 camere, 2 bagni, salone grande e cucina. La casa aveva tutti i confort necessari (aria condizionata, ventolino, televisione, cucina fornita), la pulizia era giornaliera e i custodi attenti al mantenimento del verde.

Der super Meerblick auf die Bucht „Anse a la Mouche“ ist sicherlich das Highlight des „La Residence“. Wir haben ihn bei jedem Frühstück auf der Terrasse genossen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut (Mückennetze, Gas-Herd, Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Deckenventilatoren und Klima-Anlage in den Schlafzimmern), es gibt allerdings keinen Geschirrspüler. Dafür wird fast täglich sauber gemacht, alle 3 Tage gibt es neue Handtücher. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Trotz Ankündigung vorab, dass wir nach den Check-In-Zeiten ankommen werden, war der Check-In nicht so einfach wie er hätte sein sollen. Eine genaue Beschreibung wer unseren Schlüssel haben wird und wo wir diese Person genau finden können, wäre extrem hilfreich gewesen. Die Ground-Floor-Zimmer sind für 3 Erwachsene leider nicht zu empfehlen, da die 3. Person in einem nicht-klimatisierten Zimmer auf einer Couch schlafen muss, die nicht zum Schlafen geeignet ist (für 1-2 Nächte eventuell noch tragbar, aber nicht mehr). Unterkunft kam uns dafür sehr entgegen und stellte uns eine andere Zimmerkategorie zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer, die wir gesehen haben, sind bereits sehr in die Jahre gekommen und an der ein oder anderen Stelle renovierungsbedürftig. Sauberkeit naja, da eigentlich nur das Nötigste gemacht wurde (wir sind ständig mit Latschen durch die Zimmer gelaufen). Ausstattung der Küche prima und man sollte sich auf Selbstverpflegung einstellen (Frühstück mit 14 € pro Person und Tag teuer!). Ein Mietwagen wäre von Vorteil, da die Unterkunft doch etwas abgelegen liegt. Ansonsten schöne Aussicht aufs Wasser und mit Glück tolle Sonnenuntergänge ;-)

Nous avons été très bien reçu dans la maison avec une vue sur la mer. Propre, proche de restaurant, nous avons été très contents de notre séjour. Nous avons demandé un lit parapluie pour notre bébé et nous l'avons eu rapidement. Super accueil.

La struttura si trova sul crinale della montagna in zona Anse la Mouche. Di per sè gli appartamenti sono carini ma pieni di insetti di tutti i tipi. Non ci sono infissi, solo persiane e grate a chiusura delle grandi aperture. In stanza avevamo due gechi che banchettavano, per fortuna, con le zanzare. Ogni sera verso le 20,30 iniziava la processione dei millepiedi che attraversavano l’appartamento. Insomma, va bene la natura ma basterebbero piccoli accorgimenti per non dover mangiare con le formiche che ti assalgono a frotte.

Un tres bon sejour
Notre premier sejour aux Seychelles dans un appartement tres bien équipé et avec une vue incroyable sur Anse à la Mouche .Le personnel est tres correct.L’appartement nettoyé chaque jour .On s’y sent bien .trouver des points negatifs sera plutôt du tatillonnage : salle d’eau avec lavabo cassé dommage et rideau de douche ...et gaziniere un peu abîmée.Mais ces 3 points n’ont rien entaché à notre séjour.Excellent rapport qualité - prix .

Mycket prisvärt och kanonläge!
Underbart boende med övervärde. Utmärkt service, städning, lakansbyten, egna hyrbilar till kanonpris, transfer till och från flyget. Otroligt fint läge med underbar utsikt mothavet och kusten. Prisvärt! Södra delen av ön mer avslappnad och många små o stora stränder inom närområdet. Vi kommer tillbaka😉
