Hi Colin! Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us at Cargo 88! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay - and that the location, particularly in respect of the great dining and retail offerings of East Park Mall, the centre we’re located in! With regard to the Zambian feeling, we would politely disagree. We worked very hard with local artisans and artists to showcase their take on modern, urban Africa - and virtually all of the fixtures and artwork within the public areas of the hotel are a result of those partnerships. Granted it may not be typically what is expected, but there is much to be enjoyed about Zambia’s city landscape and urban culture, and we do hope that we have translated some of that into the hotel.
